Abdizur87 I didn't hate X-men 3, but I hated that it could have been the last X-men with that cast all together. When this movie came out AND this theme started... sooo good.
+Tony Bjornson I share your sentiments too. +chocov 123 As mentioned on description box, this score medley is attributed based solely from the films directed by Bryan Singer, whom collaboration of the signature X-MEN theme (my opinion the best) by music composer John Ottman when first established during X2. Although 'The Last Stand' main theme isn't too bad (directed by Brett Ratner), it's by another composer John Powell, reason why you'd hear such vast difference in the arrangement. Should I had included 'TLS' theme, I would've to mix-in the others too, esp Michael Kamer who composed for the 1st X-MEN film (2000), & Henry Jackman for X-MEN: First Class (2011). :)

I'm not Bryan Singer, but my speculation it's a disguise make-up is when the moment Nightcrawler got caught on suspicion by the guard, I noticed in a split-sec, of skin-color dust particles floating after he 'BAMF' which I presumed it's prob powder concealer or foundation make-up... Great! Except for three details that will make me sound rude and totally like a wanker: 1. That tune at the beginning. WTF? 2. FORCING Xavier's and Apocalypse's themes was just a horrid thing to hear. 3. That tune at the end. Really? It was so unnecesary. That's it. And I'm sorry. But I did enjoy the great parts, anyway =)
+ Rodrigo Mares If you've read the description box, it is a medley of John Ottman's work representation of all 3 films. If you are referring to the accompaniment tune of my production presents, it's juz production company's jingle i.e. 20th Century FoX, Universal, etc... Not to be confused that's connected to the medley which it isn't LOL! Dun understand why your digression of including Xavier's theme which is essential part of Days of Future Past. Just like fans would link 'The Imperial March' to Empire Strikes Back - unless you are from another planet, most fans will know Xavier's theme 'Hope' is the DOFP theme, same goes for Apocalypse. Then again, to each his own, thanks for your feedback anyway. :)
Hey! I did read the description box, but I was talking about the company's jingle, yes. I am very sorry I was so mean, it's just I'm one of those people who generate certain expectations, so I was hoping to get immediate X-Men action and I got out of synch when the jingle came out first, and then again at the end. Call me an idiot, but at the time I saw it as rather unnecessary given that it's music video --with brilliant imagery, nonetheless, and it's all based on a property owned by a corresponding production company with its own fanfare --which I love, btw =P My digression in regards to Xavier's theme arises, again, from my expectation to come across an X-Men Theme per se, or as close a thing as possible, haha. As far as I know, there is none from Ottman, just the ones for each movie. So I originally thought this was a mashup of all the Ottman works, and incorrectly assumed the goal was one adjusted to my own whims, which was for a unified, sort of official, X-Men Theme that would disregard particular motifs in order to make it a sign for the franchise as a whole, in lieu of referring to one specific, unrepresentative aspect from it. That, of course, may not be the case for Xavier's theme, but it certainly is for Apocalypse's. And still I would, and will, stubbornly insist on Xavier not being the whole embodiment of the X-Men, inasmuch as he is an essential part of the team, but I'm rooting for the team, haha, not just the one individual :v Er-Apocalypse's theme, as cool as it sounds as contained in its corresponding soundtrack, it did make me flinch. Because of the aforementioned reasons, hahaha! I did find it unpleasant =P And one more thingy, hehe, The Imperial March is to Star Wars what Xavier's Theme **might** some day be to X-Men. And as essential as it was a part of DOFP and, now, Apocalypse, it's possible that it's not immediately associated as representative of the franchise. The Star Wars Main Theme is to Star Wars THE iconic piece of music --regardless of how much I love The Imperial March, and ESB over ANH. And that, my friend, is why I thought of the inclusion of the aforestated themes as a bad addition to the endeavour. And yet, I really, really liked it. I just thought you deserved an explanation and an apology if I offended you =|
+Rodrigo Mares None taken at all, if anything, I do appreciate your detailed feedback as certain points you made provide some insight. Otherwise, I would've ignored any senseless negative remarks from internet trolls, but you're not one of them. As for your point of saying Charles isn't the whole embodiment of X-Men, I beg to differ, like it or not, as the founder of the Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, he's the reason why X-MEN existed. You'll be surprised quite many don't realize the 'X' in X-Men actually refers to his last name Xavier, which always been thought as a general annotation, ie. Extreme, Extraordinary, Excalibur, Exhilarate, etc... As mentioned before, I do agree that Star Wars main theme being iconic, therefore myself (not sure about others) will agree that Ottman's theme is the definite iconic theme of X-Men films in general. For me to include 'Hope' into this medley which fans can identify its link to DOFP. Of course no comparison to the main theme, but 'Hope' sits so well that if you listened to OST of Apocalypse, you might hear Xavier's Theme is still played at certain parts of the movie score. Same goes for 'En Sabah Nur' which I can't deny it's Apocalypse's theme, though I too find it annoying esp it got stuck to my head awhile after the movie ended, including (again) is essential for listeners to link that to the film. Also for X2 Suite with iconic 'Goodbye' being linked to Jean Grey's transience into Phoenix. A simple cut & paste the 3 main themes together would've been easier, but it'll jus boring repetition, plus I dun wish to sound the same as other similar posts by other users. Regards to your note abt start/end jingles, point taken which I'll keep that in mind for future posts. Thanks again. :)
