- Johnny Herrmann heads down to Illinois after filling his Wisconsin tag earlier in the season. After a few days of hunting hard, he finally has one of his shooters in range, and he made the shot count!

What started out as hunting on his property has led into a lifelong friendship helping him on his farm and hunting's become secondary , I cherish that more. I know what you mean Johnny. This is a great hunt and so happy for the guy…. I can kinda see the point at the end with Justin and cell cam thing but cmon getting that picture made all the difference yeah he could say I was gonna be sitting in there anyways but who knows if he would of been in the same area a different day or heck even from one morning to the next afternoon… Al that to say is let’s not diminish the effects of cell cams they make a huge impact on success and I think it’s best we just be honest about that fact. BTW this is not to diminish this terrific accomplishment of this hunt I just hate when we try and be dishonest or hide something. Cell cams give us a huge advantage with hunting specific deer especially, if they didn’t we wouldn’t use them. It was legal and that’s ok. I use them where legal as well.

We get a lot of people wondering how we get away with so much movement, but honestly no matter where you're at if a deer is preoccupied or not looking toward you, you can get away with a lot.
