I appreciated the switching of costumes to blend and get rid of heat. My gripe with AC series has always been that we walk around in clothes that are the opposite of what an assassin need which is to be inconspicuous.
Same. Also I get why some people didn’t like the weapon restrictions in different costumes but it actually added to the immersion. Plus you had to actually be creative with the games other mechanics instead of just mowing down all the enemies with a sword and pistol
To be fair in assasin creed 1 it kinda made sense, since it kiiiinda resembled those monks you could blend in with. As for assasin creed two, well it was hella conspicious, but it got away withit due to the rule of cool.

Something that I really find a bit underrated in Liberation, is her parkour and the speed of which she scales the side of the buildings. IDK why it is just so fun to climb with her and her animations are especially smooth, and I was very surprised the first time I free ran with her.
same here. despite she sharing the same animations with Haytham/Connor/Shay/Adewale, i just ended up enjoying these animations more while playing as her, i guess the climbing animations are oddly less weighty than classic ac(altair/ezio) and bit too smooth for Connor and others, but her being a girl and light weight accidentally fits these floaty elegant animations much more.
My older brother used to have a PS Vita, and I remember playing Assassin's Creed liberation. I was kind of tedious because it had a touch screen on the front and the back. I remember one particularly annoying feature was that anytime you found an envelope you would have to drag your fingers across the front and back touch screens in order to open the envelope, and then you have to pull upwards on the front and back touch screens in order to pull out the letter inside the envelope to read it.

The funny thing is, the 3DS didn't even come close to the sales of the original DS. The Vita absolutely could have competed with it if Sony hadn't handicapped the thing. Their decision to use an expensive, proprietary memory card instead of a regular microSD was completely idiotic. Later models got rid of the OLED screen to cut down on costs, but they could have just gotten rid of the touchscreen back panel because nothing used it. And then once the PS4 started taking off, Sony completely shifted focus and left the Vita to collect dust. It makes me sad.
I remember this game. I played it on my cousin's ps vita. I don't recall anything about the plot though, I used to simply jump around killing people. I didn't even had a name for this, in my head it was simply "the assassin's creed with the french black lady"
When they introduced the counter kill they made the combat in all following games that had it trivial even more when you could chain kill on top of that

I remember mastering it in Brotherhood and going to the gates of the Vatican where endless high level guards spawn so you can just keep chaining kills as long as you don't mess up.
It is a lot difficult when you are fighting millions upon millions of enemies which has the counter play to think of Shame their are few places where that exist
AC revelations or AC 2 was my first AC game and it was God effing donky sk off the worst games I have ever played. AC 3 was so much better it made me love the series. Then they got over ambitious and then Origins and what not came out destroying the "Assassin" way and replaced it with Play Pretend RPG Vidja Gaem time.
I beat the game 100 percent and really enjoyed it and I was also shocked by the end of the game I won't spoil it but let's just say I wasn't ready for that
In the Abstergo version, Aveline sees the error of her ways and proceeds to join the Templars and abandon her Assassin past. In the real version she doesn't.
This and the 3rd game come as a bundle on Nintendo Switch. I bought a physical copy and it had both games as a bundle. Decent performance, and they both came with all the DLCs. I recommend it.
I kinda adore the assassin in this game. For real she should have had the same attention as ezio. If they wanted a female star for the series they missed out. The story reminds me of the old North and south series.
They built the perfect late 1700s AC universe, sadly.. it didn't get finished. We needed a mashup of Connor, Aveline, Arno and Shay. Could've been a perfect multi-protagonist/villain POV storyline.
Speaking of games that were forgotten along with the PS Vita, Gravity Rush is one my my favorite games ever and even though it got remastered for PS4 and had a second game made for PS4 barely anyone has heard of it. Both are incredibly good games and although there are some parts that make you wanna bash your own skull in, they are completely overshadowed by the good parts. No other game i've ever played is as charming or fun as these two!
This was my first game on the Vita, and it will always be my favorite in the series. Sure, I had the other ones to enjoy too, but nothing held up to being on a 6 hour road trip just playing this over and over when I was a child.
It was my first Assassin's Creed. Being a child certainly helped me immerse myself in Aveline's world much more. That immersion has stuck with me as I grew up. Even today, as a 20-year-old guy, Liberation still holds that charm. A good game all around, despite its more than apparent flaws. I especially love the soundtrack that accompanied the game. It's perfection from top to bottom. Go listen to it if you haven't already.

I resently bought AC Odyssey gold edition with all dlcs and the bundle also included AC3 remastered and Liberation remastered game. I paid 9 € for the whole bundle. Now I own 11 AC games and just started to play whole series from AC 1 onward. I might play Liberation next tho because its short and seems interesting.
I love how it was supposed to be a big moment boss fight where you cannot counter and break defense with mackandel but then you can just chuck smoke bombs and dude dies like any other NPC in the game...

Just bought ac 3 on ps5 like a week or two ago on discount, only to replay this game. I was impressed by the remastery but pretty upset that the game wasnt 60fps. I instantly uninstalled but might redownload again for the nostalgia again.
getting this game on my vita thinking I was gonna play as Conner just to be majorly disappointed to play someone completely different. The game was still pretty fun for a vita game tho.
Why does this seem better than anything we’ve gotten in a long time with consideration to only the first 3 games. I don’t count the newer ones because they’re different games. Hopeful for Shadows, but no way is it having tree climbing or combat. I hope Japan is done well, I’d love to explore and find anything that is useful aside from useless collectibles. Just bought ac 3 on ps5 like a week or two ago on discount, only to replay this game. I was impressed by the remastery but pretty upset that the game wasnt 60fps. I instantly uninstalled but might redownload again for the nostalgia again.
I bought the White Vita with this game packed in.
getting this game on my vita thinking I was gonna play as Conner just to be majorly disappointed to play someone completely different. The game was still pretty fun for a vita game tho.

liberation and the jackdaw edion are as fun and interesting as modern era assassins story
Why does this seem better than anything we’ve gotten in a long time with consideration to only the first 3 games. I don’t count the newer ones because they’re different games. Hopeful for Shadows, but no way is it having tree climbing or combat. I hope Japan is done well, I’d love to explore and find anything that is useful aside from useless collectibles. Imagine even clothing or … weapons- unique and tons of them with critical damages, maybe poison or more

Assassin's Creed Liberation was the first ever Assassin's Creed Game I ever played and I enjoyed it.

I played this on my psvita and for the year it came out it was playable but the fps were not the strong suit.
That's horrible mistake number one, getting it on that fucking awful thing, BTW did you ever buy into that rapper's game console as well? Wasted resources to make that thing.

The Vita was an OP machine. Too bad it didn't have any games. Next level emulator though.
