I appreciated the switching of costumes to blend and get rid of heat. My gripe with AC series has always been that we walk around in clothes that are the opposite of what an assassin need which is to be inconspicuous.
Same. Also I get why some people didn’t like the weapon restrictions in different costumes but it actually added to the immersion. Plus you had to actually be creative with the games other mechanics instead of just mowing down all the enemies with a sword and pistol
+ the Erudito thing, with the hidden truth.
To be fair in assasin creed 1 it kinda made sense, since it kiiiinda resembled those monks you could blend in with. As for assasin creed two, well it was hella conspicious, but it got away withit due to the rule of cool.

I loved liberation. It was amazing. The three outfit styles, changing how assassins worked, it was genius.
Something that I really find a bit underrated in Liberation, is her parkour and the speed of which she scales the side of the buildings. IDK why it is just so fun to climb with her and her animations are especially smooth, and I was very surprised the first time I free ran with her.

despite she sharing the same animations with Haytham/Connor/Shay/Adewale, i just ended up enjoying these animations more while playing as her,
i guess the climbing animations are oddly less weighty than classic ac(altair/ezio) and bit too smooth for Connor and others, but her being a girl and light weight accidentally fits these floaty elegant animations much more.
My older brother used to have a PS Vita, and I remember playing Assassin's Creed liberation. I was kind of tedious because it had a touch screen on the front and the back.
I remember one particularly annoying feature was that anytime you found an envelope you would have to drag your fingers across the front and back touch screens in order to open the envelope, and then you have to pull upwards on the front and back touch screens in order to pull out the letter inside the envelope to read it.
Every single person ive met, whos played the game, vividly remembers the letter feature, including myself lol

Sure, they tried to involve the touchpads on the Vita. But it was tedious, annoying, and got old the first time you were doing it.

The funny thing is, the 3DS didn't even come close to the sales of the original DS. The Vita absolutely could have competed with it if Sony hadn't handicapped the thing. Their decision to use an expensive, proprietary memory card instead of a regular microSD was completely idiotic. Later models got rid of the OLED screen to cut down on costs, but they could have just gotten rid of the touchscreen back panel because nothing used it. And then once the PS4 started taking off, Sony completely shifted focus and left the Vita to collect dust. It makes me sad.
When they introduced the counter kill they made the combat in all following games that had it trivial even more when you could chain kill on top of that
And yet it still somehow felt better than the crap rpg fighting lol
@@GrimViridian Oh I agree with you the fighting the newer games somehow feels even more clunky than the older ones at least for me but I did like the whole weapon system in Valhalla how you could dual wield
I remember mastering it in Brotherhood and going to the gates of the Vatican where endless high level guards spawn so you can just keep chaining kills as long as you don't mess up.
It is a lot difficult when you are fighting millions upon millions of enemies which has the counter play to think of

I remember this game. I played it on my cousin's ps vita. I don't recall anything about the plot though, I used to simply jump around killing people.
I didn't even had a name for this, in my head it was simply "the assassin's creed with the french black lady"
As for the MC she might be African French maybe, perhaps Cajin or even Creole I am unsure though.

I beat the game 100 percent and really enjoyed it and I was also shocked by the end of the game I won't spoil it but let's just say I wasn't ready for that
Really, I found the twist very predictable. However The rest of the game is really enjoyable

this game always has a special place in my heart. it was my first ac game and i played it a lot on the vita. good times
AC revelations or AC 2 was my first AC game and it was God effing donky sk off the worst games I have ever played. AC 3 was so much better it made me love the series. Then they got over ambitious and then Origins and what not came out destroying the "Assassin" way and replaced it with Play Pretend RPG Vidja Gaem time.
To be fair, there are quite a few AC games people forgot about.

I kinda adore the assassin in this game. For real she should have had the same attention as ezio. If they wanted a female star for the series they missed out. The story reminds me of the old North and south series.
They built the perfect late 1700s AC universe, sadly.. it didn't get finished. We needed a mashup of Connor, Aveline, Arno and Shay. Could've been a perfect multi-protagonist/villain POV storyline.

As someone who owns liberation remastered, i too forgot that it existed.
There's also Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry, which is similarly a spinoff to Black Flag, so you should try that afterwards as well

This and the 3rd game come as a bundle on Nintendo Switch. I bought a physical copy and it had both games as a bundle. Decent performance, and they both came with all the DLCs. I recommend it.
It was the second game I played and I thought it was bad, coming back to it now, it's way better than I remember

Speaking of games that were forgotten along with the PS Vita, Gravity Rush is one my my favorite games ever and even though it got remastered for PS4 and had a second game made for PS4 barely anyone has heard of it. Both are incredibly good games and although there are some parts that make you wanna bash your own skull in, they are completely overshadowed by the good parts. No other game i've ever played is as charming or fun as these two!

Well, it's harsh but fair. Being dressed as French nobility like he is, he has that feminine air with his clothes and he has no physique. Eveline (like most women) probably wants to be pounded hard by Chad. And that ain't on the cards with this fruitcake.
It was my first Assassin's Creed. Being a child certainly helped me immerse myself in Aveline's world much more. That immersion has stuck with me as I grew up. Even today, as a 20-year-old guy, Liberation still holds that charm. A good game all around, despite its more than apparent flaws. I especially love the soundtrack that accompanied the game. It's perfection from top to bottom. Go listen to it if you haven't already.
This was my first game on the Vita, and it will always be my favorite in the series. Sure, I had the other ones to enjoy too, but nothing held up to being on a 6 hour road trip just playing this over and over when I was a child.

I never played it but I really dreamed of having it for sure
The game was good, but I had my save corrupted 3 times! The worst was that the ship trading got bugged and I was stuck with 2 ship
To be honest though, the preplanned/marked cain kills were a cool feature.
I remember somewhere in the swamp I swam onto land and was stuck swimming on land
(RP but it gets my point across) I remember when you made a game and I got stuck shooting a radroach with a pipe pistol weapon and the roach sponged it I ended up wasting crap tons of ammo on ONE lvl 3 roach and the left the premises only for ten minutes later get a pop up for gained XP, know what game that was called? Fallout 76. Mr. Todd "It Just Works" Howard. Pick on someone your own size.
Another great banger hope all is going well my favorite ending's and games of all is A.C Odyssey & A.C Origins but most of all hands down the best in my opinion is A.C BLACK FLAG take it easy can't wait for the next video c u on the flip side

This was my first assassin's creed game I ever played. I miss this game
I resently bought AC Odyssey gold edition with all dlcs and the bundle also included AC3 remastered and Liberation remastered game. I paid 9 € for the whole bundle.
Now I own 11 AC games and just started to play whole series from AC 1 onward. I might play Liberation next tho because its short and seems interesting.
Liberation would have been an interesting concept if it were actually good.

I never forgot about it. I just personally didn’t find it all too interesting. I don’t think it was as disappointing as most make it out to be but I personally think the reason behind that is the loss of Desmond. Nobody liked that…
Rebuttal: Who actually cares his whole deal with his dad and then him dying at the end anyways screw that noise I am not trying to sound disingenuous I mean well. We NEED a break from Desmond too much time around him has made the community toxic, I mean LOOK at them really look. Notice that smell, they think they are Otaku, THAT is the smell of rotting feces they have become fused to their furniture stagnating and undergoing necrosis, it is a nice change of pace to get someone in the story else and move around and exercise. WHY is change bad and why are people such basket cases and fear change? Not enough change and you stagnate, mentally and physically, too much and you get Fortnite or Rocket League. I did like Desmond for a time, this is not directed at you this is me voicing my concern into over obsession of a character by the community. If Desmond was in every game I'd stop caring about the story, period and no amount of fixing or rewriting will ever help that for me. Do you see what I am getting at here? Yeah, he died "saving" the world but did he really, did he REALLY or did he play into the villain's hands? It's time to see DNA through other's eyes as other people. Is that really so bad as you said if Desmond was lost people stopped caring, well that's too bad they need to get off of their effing Desmond Coke addiction because it is hurting the rest of us and everything else. Change is not bad other people prevent change is bad.

I love how it was supposed to be a big moment boss fight where you cannot counter and break defense with mackandel but then you can just chuck smoke bombs and dude dies like any other NPC in the game...

Just bought ac 3 on ps5 like a week or two ago on discount, only to replay this game. I was impressed by the remastery but pretty upset that the game wasnt 60fps. I instantly uninstalled but might redownload again for the nostalgia again.

Playing Liberation with french voices makes it more immersive, since New Orleans was french back then.
liberation and the jackdaw edion are as fun and interesting as modern era assassins story
