I have my first multi unit under contract and started making a spreadsheet to plan and track all my purchases. It took me a full day just to plan the first bedroom. I’ve downloaded your checklist- it’s fantastic! Thank you. I’m so excited to crush this! I’ve dreamt of running a BnB for decades, but just couldn’t afford the huge house. Here we go!
Worse experience is when hosts provide no essentials. They get really ridiculous. A Sponge comes to 15 cents each when bought at the dollar tree for a package of 8. Salt and pepper shakers are a must as well for basic. Thank you for your videos ladies. Love that your goal is to raise our hosting standards
Totally agree-providing the basics isn’t just good hospitality, it’s common sense! A little effort goes a long way in making guests feel at home. Thanks for watching and for being part of the movement to raise hosting standards! 🙌✨
You both are the best! I started my Airbnb journey in January as a mid-term rental, and I may potentially transition to a short-term rental since my property is close to Capitol Hill and the National Mall in D.C. For mid-term or long-term stays, should I continue supplying essentials like toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, and laundry detergent? Also, should I set limits on how often guests can use the in-unit laundry? My current guest is using it a lot, so I want to manage it properly.
Hey! Great questions. You're in an awesome location! I would supply the initial amount of toilet paper and essentials just like you normally would. After that, they will grab their own. I would not set limits on in-unit laundry.
I stayed in a NH Chalet last year. I had to bring my own sheets, Keurig etc. Nothing was left for the guests at all and it was so inconvenient. The funny thing was the kitchen had a new countertop and the pans didn't even fit in the new tiny sink lol. It was a struggle washing the dishes
That sounds like an....experience! 🤦♀️ A little thoughtfulness in amenities goes a long way-guests shouldn’t have to pack half their house to enjoy a stay. And that sink situation… yikes! Thanks for sharing and here’s to better hosting everywhere! 🙌✨
Little touches like this are simple, inexpensive, and go a long way in making guests feel welcome. No one should have to ration toilet paper on vacation! 🚽
I've endured staying in so many Airbnb's where at least one of these items have been an issue. I thought it was a Mexico thing. 🤣 Every time I stay down there, I know I could do a much better job at hosting.
@@ThanksForVisiting yes, in Puerto Vallarta. We’ve (THV & myself) already been in contact. I’m still trying to sell a home with equity so I can pay cash for the Sayan Beach condo.

So awesome. Congratulations on taking the leap!
Thoughtful, as always. In all you do.
That means so much! Thank you.
In South Africa we like to have rusks available for our guests with their tea/ coffee in the morning. Very popular.
Such a nice touch!
Thank you for helping. Regards from Aruba 🇦🇼 🏝️. Preparing one Villa for rental.
Yay, how exciting! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this video!

Literally watched a discussion of how little toilet paper hosts "should" leave as they expect guests will bring their own!

Are you considering getting a property of your own? Or possibly co-hosting?
