- After the comments blew up asking about how to clean this sneaker it was only right! We took on the Infrared Jordan 4s using the RESHOEVN8R Essential Shoe Cleaning Kit.
In today's Shoe Care Academy video we took on the nubuck material of this Jordan 4. Nubuck is a tricky and temperamental material to clean, but ultimately this cleaning came out perfect. Pro tip: When cleaning nubuck sneakers don't oversaturate the material; a little water and Solution goes a long way.

Good to know these are easily cleaned, although I’m not the one to ever let them get to that point. Some of my favorites as well.
They clean up really great and they also are the perfect shoe to use our Repellent on to keep them protected.

I scrubbed black canvas 4s with washing powder and it’s white. Will these methods help?
Fun fact - the Jordan 4 Infrareds were the 2nd best Jordan to drop in 2022 losing the number 1 spot to the Jordan 4 Black Canvas….yup, I said it!!!

And as you noticed I didnt say these were the best Jordan 4’s of the year…I think they’re the best Jordans period of 2022 and its not up for debate😂🤣🤪🤪

What’s the best way to get a factory glue spot off suede/nubuk? Trying not to ruin the shoe.
Unfortunately there isn't much you can do besides maybe sand off the stain.
What about the mesh material

I have a question I’ve never heard of the material that are on these I think it’s called nubuck or something but can you get that material wet and get creases out of them like any other shoe?
You can get it wet, but you have to be careful because this material can get water marking on it.
Can you paint the Grey out sole area of the bred 4s instead of using shoe sauce? Light sand it possibly?
It will just make the grey pop more.

Here's a question how long does anyone put their shoes in the washing machine? I put mine for 45 minutes is that too long or too short?
That is about right. Our normal cycle is 41 minutes
When you clean a shoe and put em in the washing machine does the shoe tree have to be in the shoe
It is the best option to leave the Shoe Tree in the shoe. It helps hold the shape of the sneaker while the shoe moves around in the wash.

Does putting air max 90s in the washer get water or like water droplets in the air unit??

can i just use mink oil on it?
Yes! you can use Mink oil on suede and nubucks.
Like 90 % came off in the first brushing
The coffee stuck into the material that is the main issue but they cleaned up great

It will not as long as it is done correctly. It is super important to not oversaturate the sneaker and to clean the whole shoe evenly

They should clean up like a regular pair of Jordan 1s bro. I'm sure you there's plenty of Jordan 1 videos on the channel to use as reference.
Pro tip: Avoid oversaturating the leather just in case they are made with a more premium leather

@RESHOEVN8R brushes were not available then. Maybe you were not employed with the company back then, and because are un familiar with the product, I mentioned and didn't ask a senior executive or someone who knows the product line old new and discontinued to present is why I don't have a definitive answer or solution 🤔
