How To Clean Canvas & Suede Air Jordan 3 Muslin

- The Muslin Air Jordan 3 features some materials that we rarely see on the Jordan 3. The thick canvas upper and suede overlays can be tricky to clean unless you have the proper tools and knowledge.
Luckily for us, Jordan has both. In order to properly clean this pair of Muslin Jordan 3s Jordan is going to use the RESHOEVN8R Deep Clean Signature Bundle, and a few extras that you’ll see later on.

Jordan started off the cleaning as she always does by removing the laces and setting them aside to soak in water and Solution. Now we can start scrubbing at these stubborn canvas uppers.
Jordan used the Soft Bristle Brush to deep clean the canvas upper of this Muslin Jordan 3, the Medium Brush for the midsole, and finished it off with the Stiff Bristle Brush for the outsole. But this cleaning is far from over.
The canvas on this Jordan 3 has a lot of trapped in dirt that our brushes simply can’t reach. To flush these areas out, we opted for the RESHOEVN8R Laundry System. Jordan bagged the sneaker in the Sneaker Laundry Bag and put it into the washing machine with a Sneaker Laundry Detergent Pod for a full cycle.
After letting the Muslin Air Jordan 3 dry, the shoe is looking pretty darn good. The last thing we need to do is touch up the suede overlays, which by now have become crunchy and a little faded. Jordan used the Dry Suede Kit to reset the nap of the suede, and then finished it off with some Mink Oil, which reconditions suede and leather as well as brings back color.

I think it would be cool if, on occasion, the final results are compared to a DS pair as well as the other, uncleaned shoe. Would be interesting to see just how close to brand new condition one can get to with the cleaning process.

Hey you got any tips for cleaning jordan 6 rings? I got the white/concorde blue ones and I can't clean the cloth/canvas parts. The leather is easy to clean bu cloth is not.

What’s the difference between using a laundry bag vs just throwing it in the washing machine?
The laundry bag keeps your sneakers together, cleans them while they spin and protects them.

The dirt might just be trapped in the materials and need to be properly flushed. With canvas the best way to do that is a washing machine.
I’m annoyed cause I cleaned mine and it yellowed and idk how to get it out.
We are sorry to hear that. Put it in some UV lights and it will help with the yellowing.

I had an issue around the gray suede areas, the gray color bled onto the canvas and didn’t really show till shoes dried… any suggestions to how to get the color out the canvas?
you could always try cleaning them again with the brushes and solution, but only on the canvas?

Should I be careful to not get the mink oil on the non-suede parts of the shoe?
Mink Oil will not cause damage to the canvas.
