I am an American, of mid-60's age. My whole life (until last year) HM Queen Elizabeth II was THE QUEEN. As a teenager I began my journey as a history major. In my studies, I always put QEII before any other world leaders (even of my own nation). Years ago I was fortunate enough to visit The UK & Europe, & walk in some of her footsteps. She had the wonderful ability to laugh @ herself. Like the pink outfit she once wore w/a hat full of cherries, silly, yes, but you instantly knew who was under those cherries! When she passed I was inconsolable. I shed more tears for her than for my own family. Thank you for posting this speech, it brings back many happy memories.

Our Founding Fathers REJECTED the old English monarchy and out of respect for those men, ALL Americans need to REJECT it as well.
A Cult of Personality arises when an individual uses mass media, propaganda, or other methods to create an idealized, and at times, a 'god-like' and a 'goddess-like' public image, through Unquestioning Flattery and Praise.
( Deceased Elizabeth II, Charles, William, Anne, Camilla, Kate and the remaining representatives )
The old English monarchy is a CULT - LIKE institution with a very bad history.
      What is a CULT-?
The group displays excessively zealous and unquestioning commitment to its leader.
Questioning, doubt, and dissent are discouraged.
The leadership dictates, sometimes in great detail, how members should think, act and feel.
The group is elitist, claiming a special, exalted status for itself, its leader and members.
The group has a polarized us-versus-them mentality, which may cause conflict with the wider society.
The leader is extremely protected and does not give interviews.
The leader is not held accountable to any authority.
Unquestioning adulation is expected from the followers.
      Characteristics of a CULT.
The Leadership Dictates, Sometimes In Great Detail, How Members Should Think, Talk, Act and Feel.
      Examples:-
When Elizabeth was alive the following rules had to be obeyed.
When the queen stands, you must stand.
Bow or curtsy as she approaches.
Only shake her hand if she shakes your hand first.
Do not wear sunglasses outdoors if you are near her.
Never address her by her first name.
Only address her as your so-called majesty.
Never initiate a conversation with her.
      She always takes the lead.
She always walks ahead of everyone else.
Her 'husband' always had to walk two paces behind her.
Never walk in front of her.
You wait for her, she never waits for you.
Never turn your back on her.
Never leave an event before her.
Selfies are forbidden. Never start eating before her.
The wearing of fur is not allowed.
Never continue eating after she has finished.
      Keep the conversation 'light'.
      No personal questions about herself.
Females must never sit with their legs crossed at the knee.
When the royal family is part of a procession, they must enter and be seated in the order of precedence, which is essentially the order of who’s next in line to the so-called throne.
The so-called royals aren’t allowed to give out autographs.
Mrs Windsor was required to use her purse to send subtle social signals.
When she placed her purse on the table at dinner, it meant it was time to wrap things up-so consider the bite you lifted must be your last.
She was required to spend her time speaking to the person on her right for the first course, and then engage in conversation with the guest on her left for the second.
The so-called English royals are not allowed to give autographs.
Parliamentarians are not allowed to discuss the monarchy.
The old English monarchy has a bad history and the following words would apply to it.
Anachronistic, Racist, Incest, Adultery, Immorality, Tyranny, Brutality, Genocide, Slavery, Theft,
Dysfunctional, Aloof, Extremely Secretive, Irrelevant, Suffocating Formality, Abnormal and a Prison - Like Lifestyle.
Edward's and Simpson's allegiance to Hitler. Andrew / Epstein and Charles / Jimmy Savile.
Diana's arranged / forced marriage to Charles and his horrible treatment of her.
Philip and his affairs. Anne divorced. Randy divorced . Charles divorced. Camilla divorced.
There is not much family stability with these people and they are a poor representation of a cohesive family.
The obsessed monarchy cult followers say that the monarchy provides stability but they dont explain how it does that with regards to this family.
Henry VIII divorced two of his wives and the other one was BEHEADED-!
      Charles II executed-!

      Hanged, Drawn and Quartered.
The "drawing" part actually comes first and it involves the convict being tied to a type of sled that's "drawn" or dragged behind a horse all the way from the prison to the gallows. Then he was hung by a rope tied from the gallows and around his neck. After a few terrifying minutes of near-asphyxiation, the rope was cut and the man fell down. Then his penis and testicles were cut off, his bowels were pulled out, his heart was cut out and all were burned before him in a fire. Next, his abdomen was slit open from groin to sternum. His head was severed from his body and his body cut into four quarters to be disposed of at the king's pleasure. The body parts were then taken on a publicity tour and distributed to the surrounding towns as a warning to those who would challenge the authority of the king. One of the main reasons for doing all of this was to demonstrate the absolute power of the monarchy.
Burning at the Stake was another awful way to be killed.
Britain has a monarchical kind of government and it had five Prime Ministers in a short period of six years.
Northern Ireland was without a functioning government for a period of two years.
The monarchy representatives and THE OBSESSED FOLLOWERS claim that the monarchy provides stability for a government but they do not explain how it achieves the so-called stability.
The so-called monarchy cult representatives, ( Charles etc ) are supposed to be apolitical and have no power and most certainly do not keep politicians in check.
That is done by the voters. So in reality, the citizens have more power than the monarchy cult representatives.
If you think otherwise, then when was the last time royal assent was denied-?
PLEASE DO NOT FOLLOW THIS OLD CULT.

The past rivalry between Britain and France was on for centuries. This rivalry was replaced with friendship after the defeat of Napoleon Bonaparte at the battle of Waterloo in 1815. since the mid 19th century i think relationship has been ROCK SOLID.
The late British monarch her majesty Queen Elizabeth II made five(5) state visits to France and some unofficial visits to France. In same vein French Presidents made several state visits during her 70 years reign. She also spoke French fluently and so does her son his majesty King Charles III.
Just today the 8th of April 2024, a regiment of the French military marched alongside the King's guards at Buckingham palace.
God bless his majesty King Charles III and heal him completely from this cancer ailment.
As a foreigner i admire the relationship between Britain and France. 🇬🇧🇫🇷.
    God bless your countries.
    Greetings from Lagos, Nigeria 🇳🇬.

    • @arealphoney
      @arealphoney 6 місяців тому +1

Yes, the Queen, and the other Royal women of Europe, chose their jewellery very carefully for the occasion.
French culture was a major influence on the Russian court. The Queen COULD have chose a Cartier tiara made by a French jeweller, but she wore the most historically important item in the collection. AND she had the choice of setting it with emeralds or pearls, and chose the pearls.
She DID NOT wear a ruby tiara, because the red stones would emphasise the fact that she was Duke of Normandy, and had an entitlement to the throne of France..
On the other hand, she wears the red sash of the Legion d'Honneur.

The gen of MM have never watched loved ones go to war, die on the battlefield. Fix a bayonet in the ground to hang the hat of a dead mate and have to carry on to battle.. MM should hang her head in shame to not respect a woman who has lived through so much with Grace & Dignity to offer this constant to those who have suffered.

Oh, give it a rest. "Britain alone", what utter nonsense. We survived over 300 years without needing to be part of a would be EU Empire. And during that time, while we had stable, Democratic governance, of course, literally creating the modern world, and building a huge Empire, Europe was in a constant state of war and disorder. With Britain more than once having to help rescue them from their own stupidity. Today, it is quite possible to have friendly relations between any and all of our fellow Europeans, without sacrificing our long cherished independence and national sovereignty. And it appears that increasing numbers of said European nations are also beginning to reject the diktats of the ever more authoritarian Brussels bureaucrats.

The UK outlawed the African slave trade in the 1830s and sent royal navy warships to prevent other nations continuing the trade. It cost us dear in lost naval lives and our government didn't finish paying the slavers families until 2015. We didn't start the slave trade, we finished it.

@@ehilton96Britain abolished the slave trade within its Empire in 1807 but not Slavery itself within the Empire until the 1830's. The slave trade and slavery continued in the United States and other European Empires long after this time.
The Royal Navy which had been built for the protection of British colonial interests, including Slaving vessels and had been principally paid for by British slave owning interests for the protection of their 'property' and products had for two hundred years been directly involved in the mass industrialisation of the slave trade both within and without the Empire.
When the Royal Navy did get redeployed to curtail the slave trade they abandoned thousands of 'rescued' slaves on St Helena where thousands died of starvation and disease and many more were offered indentured servitude in the US or simply re-enslaved by American slave traders and taken to the plantations in the Southern US. British owned and crewed vessels continued to participate in the slave trade long after its abolition.
It's all well and good crowing about Britain being one of the first European nations to abolish the slave trade but you can't gloss over the context that Britain had previously been the key player in the slave trade. It's like celebrating someone for putting out a fire that 5 minutes previously they'd been pouring petrol on.
And yes it did take until 2015 for the UK to finish paying the debt incurred compensating the slave owners. Yes that's right. The slave OWNERS. Not the slaves. Not the people who had been ripped from their homeland and transported half way across the world to be worked to death. No not them, they got nothing.
Abolishing the slave trade and the practice of slavery was an admirable achievement but it does not assuage the guilt or absolve the crimes committed under the flag of the British Empire.
