  • Here is the #1 point guard in the class of 2015 according to Rivals.com and 247Sports.com, Isaiah Briscoe. The New Jersey native who could very well be considered as a combgo guard possesses great offensive skills and combined with his size is virtually unstoppable at the high school level. Thanks to Briscoe we once again get to see that nasty east coast flavor in a mixtape once again.

He's good. But he's still raw. Would love to see him play college hoops for 2 years. A 6'3" PG is almost always welcomed into the NBA.

    • @whoisniilante

Tyqui Neal This kid is good. But not that good. I always said that Kyrie could have played very well in the NBA straight out of HS. When I watched his game footage at St. Patricks I saw a genius with the basketball. Coach K knew he was ready the pros when he was at DUKE.
This kid Briscoe as the tools, body, and skills, but I don't see that intangible that sets the elite apart from the greats.
Obviously, I haven't seen much of Briscoe, but the next Kyrie is a stretch, I think.

Coach Cal said in an interview a couple of months ago that this kid was a "Deron Williams" type player. Watching this video tonight and seeing him play for the first time, I was immediately reminded of Deron Williams. Funny thing is, I had forgotten Cal saying that until I saw all of the "other" comparisons in the comments section that fans are making.

He looks like the next Andre Miller. Really though, crafty scorer and passer. Plays mostly below the rim and has a more thicker body than your current elite PGs. Go watch Andre from like 5 years ago, this is what Briscoe reminds me of.

Comments about a high school kid's "explosiveness" are just splitting hairs. I'll take a kid who can play and has the necessary skills. Building explosiveness can be done with plenty of weight training and plyometrics.

Him and jalen are kinda the same, i mean, ive seen jalen play, im going into stevenson next year, and theyre both not great athletes or born athletes, but just hard-working ballers who have fluid handles and good body control, and they aren't showy, they play ball in control.
