    I think what I like most about his game is that he will def do at least 2 year under Coach Cal. That will be most valuable for him and his game. Having to guard 6'5" Andrew Harrison in practice everyday will def make him a better defender. A ball hawk even. I could def see Calipari putting him in the game next year and having him play D 94 feet

    Basketball IQ is off the charts. Assassin and pass first mentality with a silky 15 foot jumper. Can shoot the ball well enough from range and proves you don't need to be 6 foot to be in the NBA. Everyone said he wasn't ready because they don't know anything about basketball. #BBN #ToYourThingTyler

    People need to quit saying that Chase Adams is not gonna make it when he plays open court with Tyler Ulis and runs many open court games with him. While people praise Tyler Ulis and he's only 5'9 (and extra mega elite!). Chase Adams is mentored by Tyler Ulis and they have a good relationship so i believe this Chase kid is going places too.

  • @whoisniilante
    @whoisniilante 10 років тому +23

    love his game, but to the ppl saying he's gonna start next year for UK... yall crazy! There's no chance he wins starting PG duties and there's no chance Coach Cal will start Ulis and both Harrison twins. Now if he comes in and out plays Hawkins for backup minutes then thats great. But Andrew Harrison is trying to be the #1 PG drafted next year so he'll def be running the show in Lexington.

    • @bigjon7143
      @bigjon7143 10 років тому

      I agree. But Cal has hinted at the possibility of starting tyler and Andrew together. Truth is, nobody knows until we know. He also hinted at the possibility of putting towns jr. at the 3 and having all 3 7 footers in the game at once. Can u imagine that?? Craziness! Go cats!

    • @whoisniilante
      @whoisniilante 10 років тому

      Big Jon 3 7footers on the floor at once... that would be crazy because all them are very skilled and quick footed. And I'm saying that Tyler and the twins won't every be on the court at then same time, but it'll be more of John Wall and Eric Bledsoe type deal. Andrew will be the unquestioned floor general just because he is proven on the biggest stage in college hoops. I'm saying that Cal will take that experience any day with his PGs if he has the choice. And if Andrew was a freshman, I think he would still outplay Tyler for starting minutes.
      This is a potential solid NBA PG vs a potential solid college PG.

    • @slater1ist
      @slater1ist 10 років тому

      If any of you remember the start of the 2014 season, the Harrisons had much trouble getting the "team" thing down in fact, i read an article stating that they were struggling so bad, their own father had to get involved with their coaching. However Ulis has always had to deal with adversity due to #1 playing Chicago ball (enuff said there) and #2 #3) his height and size. So Tyler will not have as much of a problem converting to college ball as the twins did.

    • @slater1ist
      @slater1ist 10 років тому +2

      The Harrisons "returning" was another "yellow flag" for me. the only PGs to return coming from a Coach CAL camp since the Harrisons was Ryan Harrow. Most PGs more on.

    • @whoisniilante
      @whoisniilante 10 років тому

      slater1ist ryan harrow didn't 'return' he had transfered and didn't play that season. so that was his first year. But both the Harrisons needed to come back for another year to be NBA ready

    I love Tyler, but I can't see him ending up in the league. He's not just short, he's also very thin. If you look at the vast majority of sub 6 footers to play in the league (especially of the modern era) they had naturally stocky builds (combined with extensive resistance training, obviously) and the sort of bullish strength that comes from that build with a low center of gravity. He doesn't have that.
    Obviously he could put on some muscle, but he doesn't have the natural genetics that those guys have which suits them in the league.
    However, once he takes over for the Harrison brothers (in his sophomore year, most likely, once they've entered the draft), his excellent skills as a pure point should see him do well at Kentucky. I'll be rooting for him.

      Yeah but he's not gonna stay one year in college, so he'll put on some muscle, give him 2-3 years we'll see

      He hasn't played one college game and your talking nba already. He probably will stay a couple years to developed.

      Antbeast23 He's probably gonna be a 4 year player at Kentucky. I realize that. He has the skills, don't get me wrong, but I just question whether or not the league scouts will give a player like him a chance.
      The good news is the league has become more of a guard oriented game in recent years, so there's a chance for him.

      Yea I agree he will be a 3 to 4 year player but despite his height I could see him being a good player. He is great on defense, good passer, and shooting but yea he needs to get stronger.

    I really like this kid
    That's a perfect of how to improve a guard style who's into playmaker right now
    In that's nice because you have to be one Gardner or Carr
    but a playmaker? a playmaker is always necesary :)
    keep going
