In the uk we could get tanks with plastic liners or re enforced plastic tanks. Rememmber dad replacing out series 3 tanks with after market plastic tanks saved all that rust mess inside.
Flush the tanks out with diesel, cheaper maybe , definitely less dangerous. Btw, do you have any 35mm offset Kent wheels for sale, or S2 steel wheels?.....or any other S1 parts......I'm restoring a 73 S1 xj6 , Sydney......regards Peter

Attention on These old engines use Austria Made Adamol 15W40 oil with 1135ppm ZDDP

I like the Daimler V8 250s… I suppose they got power steering because there was so much space around that great little engine !
