Attention, according to new judgments and changes in EU and Gernan construction law, it may happen that deregistered cars, classic cars and even vehicles with seasonal license plates are no longer allowed to be stored in garages. The municipalities need money and send inspectors around to check whether work is being done in garages or whether deregistered classic cars are parked. ...that can cost up to 10,000 euros! It is even planned that in the future (unregistered) vehicles and trailers parked in the garden (outside garages) will be defined as structures for which building authorities will then require building applications and permits (and of course not grant them!); there will be a network of vehicle registration offices and building regulations offices take place so that building permits are requested by car owners as soon as they are deregistered.
Hi I hope you make a video on how to fix the Jags headlights I too have the exact same problem driving lights not working so I hope your video can help me with my Jag. Keep up the great work your videos are very good and informative 👍hello from Australia 🇦🇺
Im not sure how easy it would be to “flip” just based on the fact that even if it’s done up nice, finding the right buyer would be tough and could take some time
when you find hte SIX mcphearson struts have gone bad (2 in front 4 in back ) at 1k per ...and the rack is leaking (2500 to replace) and the rubber and hoses are going (1000) the engine is the LAST of your worries!! it and the AC are bombproof but there is a lot of car to go wrong (injector rail etc)
jags can live down to their reputation if you dont know their quirks and how to take care of them. so for most it will be a frustrating experience. for the few ...they are great cars because you learned to not treat it like a toyota
In today's market, I think you can get more for this one. It probably sat inside a garage for years, owned by an old timer who treated it well.
Interesting rear end set up. Cant wait for you to dig into this one 💕👍
What a beautiful looking car. Well worth bringing up to scratch.
A very nice car. This is going to be exciting. Thank you

189,000 miles isn't too bad. I think after it's detailed it will look really sharp.

That is a tidy Series 3 XJ. With all XK engines, make sure the oil pressure is 40lbs on the gauge.

Could you do a "most reliable cars from the mid 2010's"? Also, what is your opinion on CVT trans for cars in that era?
In a word...
AVOID
Spray "Mint spray" from Amazon in engine bay to keep rodents away from chewing wires.
Speaking of checking for leaks, how is the new shed holding up in the rain?
