I love the tennis sweater at 0:34 and boy this was a solid video on how to pack! If I only could have watch this ten years earlier ... Thank you very much Raphael for sharing!
Sir you've just saved my life! I was about to go on a trip and I only had a small size luggage, this roll up technique will help me a lot! Great content as always!
I am about to graduate as a professional Civil Engineer from Pakistan, and watching these videos really help me a lot and motivate me. Now I have good taste in dressing too due to these videos. Lot of respect for you.
I place a plastic (e.g. bag from a dry cleaner) sheet between each fold of folded clothing (pants and jackets) to avoid slippage which causes creases. As for folded shirts, I use crepe paper that stores use when they pack your purchased shirts.
I found very useful the video and if I may suggest, I also learned to travel with a small toiletry bag with travel size containers for shampoo or body lotion or aftershave , the one that I consider the best is a toiletry bag smaller than a shoe size.
Travel a lot and it’s every time nice to learn sth new. The blazer folding trick really is a good one, going to use that for sure. A carry on washing and grooming hack would have been interesting, too, any chances for that? Keep up the good work, I do enjoy your videos a lot!
Gentleman's Gazette I am positive you do, case in point: this channel‘s become my favorite channel for fashion, and I am not even a gentleman, or a man for all that matter!
really helped me pack for a business trip. took all the stress out of it, and i had loads of room left compared with previous times. I will deffo sub :)
Do one like this but for a long vacation somewhere cold so you can talk about how to pack thick clothing boots coats in a small space! Love all your videos, awesome stuff, you really seek passionate and knowledgeable about the ways of a gentleman
I really loved this video. In fact I saved it in one of my lists because you showed how to fold and pack a suit. I’ll definitely check out fort Belvedere too. 👍
I receive emails from you and, through them, visit your web site. When I do, I typically transfer from the videos on your web site to UA-cam thinking that, by doing so, you are saved some bandwidth costs. (Now, pat me on my head and say that, "Good boy.") Your work is valuable for today's men, young and old, especially in America. Please keep it up.
Good video thanks. Good point on the slip on shoes. Even with TSA Pre I can't wear any Aldens as the steel shank sets of the detector. Only thing missing that's always in my roller is workout clothing and sneakers. Finding the time to hit the hotel gym helps mitigate the stress of travel.
A short business trip can be three days long, in some cases plus a day or two for travel. That necessitates at least three changes of underwear and underwear T-shirt (if you wear one, which you should on a business trip with a dress shirt unless you will have to be in very warm conditions) and socks. Those three changes have to be in the carry-on.
You can hand wash underwear (and socks) in a hotel sink with a dab of hotel shampoo. To dry them faster, squeeze out the water, then roll in a towel and twist. Then hang the clothing ... synthetics will be fully dry in a couple of hours, cotton will dry overnight. Two changes, plus the items you are wearing on the plane, are enough. You will need a fresh shirt for each day, unless you use the hotel laundry service.
Watched the video, nice way to present for taking a suit in a carry-on. Been finding it hard to find airline rules on garment bags, travel type (24"x48"), so was unsure on how to get my suit across the country wrinkle-free.
How about for carry on bag, what do you use? Have you tried Nomad Lane Bento bag? You will like it for its features. It has a lot of compartments, very spacious and has a trolley sleeve.
Hi Raphael, I have been invited to a ball with a 'creative black tie' dress code. I was wondering if you could do a more detailed video on this dress code. I know your video on dress codes touches on it but I thought it would be a great video to do and it would be fun to see what ideas you have. Many thanks
Outstanding video, I picked up some very helpful tips, thank you! If possible, could you provide advice for packing when traveling to colder environments during winter. I may be going to MSP for a business trip this month and I find winter packing a challenge.
Responding to an old comment ... depending on where you are going, MSP won't be that much colder than what you are used to. For example, if you will only be in downtown Minneapolis, you can probably walk from your hotel to everyplace else in the skyways. Any overcoat will be fine. You may need to go outside to cross a street, you'll be fin in any coat, gloves and a hat. However, if you're in the suburbs or know you'll be outside a lot, especially at night, bring your warmest clothing. If you're from the Sunbelt and don't have really warm stuff, either buy some or change your travel plans. If you need to bring your super warm clothing, boots, etc. but only have a carry-on, ship your warm things to MSP, then ship them home. Just one down parka and a pair of snow boots will fill your suitcase. FYI: I live in Minneapolis, have a downtown office, and have family in Southern California. When I travel, I have to do the reverse of what you do.
Personally, I use packing cubes to make everything quicker and easier. I also bring a sealable laundry bag. Otherwise, where does your dirty laundry go?
Hi! Super Videos, ich schau sie mir immer wieder gerne an und lerne dabei extrem viel! Leider ist das Video bzgl. Suitcase Business Trip packing nicht richtig verlinkt

This video is a lifesaver, as I must transport my wedding suit from Germany to the US in my carry on suitcase. Thanks a lot!

So glad you’ve kept up the new hair style. It’s a slight change but makes such a difference.

I travel weekly for my job, IMO this guy is suave and stylish, the way any gentleman should be.

Not That I'm a gentleman at all BUT I still found this very useful! 😄
By far the best carry on video... only thing I would change is ,wear your causal shoes on the plane and pack your dress shoes .
Do one like this but for a long vacation somewhere cold so you can talk about how to pack thick clothing boots coats in a small space! Love all your videos, awesome stuff, you really seek passionate and knowledgeable about the ways of a gentleman
I’m packing my man’s suitcase for his business trip. Thanks for the tips!
Great. When I travel frequenlty I have to bring formal wear and now I can do so confidently without fear of wrinkling.
I really loved this video. In fact I saved it in one of my lists because you showed how to fold and pack a suit. I’ll definitely check out fort Belvedere too. 👍

Good video thanks.

"Ranger-roles" (t-shirt, underwear and socks) are a good way to pack 😊
Great video! That suitcase looked perfect. I will have to watch your other video for larger suitcases before my long haul flight. Many thanks.
This video is hilarious. I couldn’t stop laughing. Those pants are ridiculous hahaha.
This helped immensely. Great tips, except where is best to put the shaving kit for hubby's suitcase. I'll check out your other videos.
What brand is your carry on suitcase? I really like the zippered compartment where you packed your suit and shirts!
Loved this video! It was very informative. Thank you for helping the poor like me.
Well researched video I have learnt a few packing tips for next short trip away 👍
It makes me want to travel just to put these tips at practice

Great video! A good idea for an up coming video would be what to wear for a graduation/prom. Because I want to hear your input on that subject.
You've come a long way since the early GG days
Please show us how to pack a weekender bag!
Watched the video, nice way to present for taking a suit in a carry-on. Been finding it hard to find airline rules on garment bags, travel type (24"x48"), so was unsure on how to get my suit across the country wrinkle-free.
I'm a woman, but I really needed to see how to pack a suit. Thanks a lot!

Seeing how much of this I can apply to my upcoming 2 year mission trip👀
Valuable advice thanks , although (sorry) I would find different colours better for the smart-caj.
I have one of those small suitcases, so I'll definitely keep an eye out for this when needed.
How about packing for a weekend trip?
Great tips for solving my problems packing nice garments on important trips.

Waltski ,add long underwear, sweaters, warm socks, boots, beanie hats, gloves, scarf and long over coat.

How to pack a WOOL COAT? Please, I am not sure weather I should fold it like a suit, because the material is thicker. Thanks!
The outfit is lovely!
Excellent wardrobe.
You forgot your toiletries bag and pyjamas.😂
Was that Mack Weldon underwear I saw there? I love it, and would love to see a review!
Quick question, do you wear a suit or jacket on the plane as well as the one you packed?

Hello, how should I pack my dirt clothes in the way back after a travel for a few days?
Love the new camera angle
It makes sense for these kind of videos, not for every video though
Excellent video and very useful.
Personally, I use packing cubes to make everything quicker and easier. I also bring a sealable laundry bag. Otherwise, where does your dirty laundry go?

Finally, it's here

Gentleman's Gazette Ah okay, sehr cool! :) Nochmal: sehr coole Videos 🤗
This was really helpful, thanks!
Very helpful. Right on point.
Thank you very much.
Spot on as always
Out of curiosity. What is a duffle bag intended for? How does it integrate into travel luggage?
My problem is that I have size 13 to 14 shoes, I know you can pack things inside those but they do tend to take up more room than the average pair
Are your trousers folded at the ankles? is that the way trousers/ pants are to be worn? i have never seen that before. please explain.
these are called turn-ups or cuff. they are sewed to the trousers. Just a style.
Never came across such 'style'. however i would like to know about these trousers cuffs
Great video!!!!
Thank you! 👍🏼
What do you do if you get a spot or stain from food or something while traveling?
SuppaKarloz , you can buy cleaning wipes or tide pens, although there are multiple effective ways to do this.
On packing a suit...would this technique work for a tuxedo also?
Very useful, thanks
Superb bro
