Ever since I saw this video, I’ve been preparing for my trip, rolling my clothes, tucking my ties in my shoes, and placing the shoes in first. These blokes have been real helpful!
I thought I was the only one that noticed. I recoil thinking about the various germs on shoes that were placed on the bed and then the suitcase! The second guy used a dust bag - thank goodness!
Like some people say, the first can never be topped. And in my opinion, this how I pack episode is the best compared to all of the one's that were produced after this. I believe this one was nicer because you guys featured actual business men who travel rather than featuring mr porter staff. The real struggles of a businessman who travels a lot makes the weight of the video noticeable. Please hear me out. Thanks.
probably, but it seems really weird. I also travel a lot but what i usually buy is the shirt, not the underwear. Undergarment is the first thing I pack.
+Chris Johnson Really? They talk like their either gay or the most gentle gentlemen this world has ever seen. I bet their just embarrassed because they wear panties.
@@dymasananda1058 absolutely which is why rolling is a terrible method unless you dont care about your clothes especially suits, oxford button downs and ties
Blows my mind how people can just put their shoes their in their suitcase or bag when it’s been soaking up every bit of human spit, dog faeces and stuff.
should be named "How NOT To Pack". Rolling a tie will ruin the liner and cause it to hold the roll form while wearing it. Haphazardly rolling pants and them squishing them flat in a suitcase will leave strang horizontal pleats.
The list is a very good idea. Even before packing, get your wardrobe, mix and match like Richard Gere did in American Gigolo , then try to remember what tie goes with what shirt and suit, then make sure you have your Shoes but if you can cover them with a Bag. That way you know what you will wear on certain days Also bring a Sponge to keep the shoes nice and clean. Also make sure that you have your Bag with your Personal Toiletries, ie Cologne, Razor, Shaving Cream, Toothbrush, Toothpaste. I remember going to a Trade Show and they were giving out Gilette Razor Kids and I got one for My Father and he loved it (RIP).
+Giorgi Mikautadze I dont know the name of them, but Tiger of Sweden has some that look kind of like them, also quite good quality. I believe they have them on their official website. A bit pricey though.
Maybe it's just for filming purposes but packing on the bed is stupid because it's dirty and dusty and your brining that onto your bed where you sleep......
what are you going to be doing at the destination who are you seeing, dont take more than you need roll is better than fold, simpler quicker time saving take few items you can dress up and down, flexible and versatile ties in shoes, shoes in shoe bag, jus pack, can be pressed in hotel, tend to forget cufflinks n ties shoes first, jeans, blue jacket, shirts, brown/black shoes - go everywhere suit annd jacket, always pack sunglasses cool advice!
That dust bag is a whole lot classier than the plastic grocery bag I usually use.
Level up my man.

Putting "naked shoes" (without dust bag) in the suitcase is ridiculous or new shoes for every trip?

+Unicorn You say right. Me too i think this. sorry for mistakes but i m italian and i dont write english very well. bye and thank :) :) :)
Giada Cairo Well I understand you Giada. I can barely speak Italian myself :)
Don't know how helpful the packing advice was, but this is the best LUGGAGE I've ever seen in my life!

Haha, they all forgot underwear!!
+Anton Danielsson Exactly! This is crazy right? one of the most important thing and it wasn't even mentioned! wow!
+Mirror I bet they're the kind of guys who always buy new underwear at their next destination, hence the lack of underwear shown in this clip.

lol that last dude's suitcase - when he has to gate check that the TSA agent is like 'aww this is cute'...
Actually rolling stuff is the best method to save space, also used by military to save as much space as they can in their backpacks.
exactly :)
Does it not cause clothes to get more creased and warped though?

And putting a tie in a shoe. Unhygienic.
@@pintthereof4598 for real, it’ll probably smell like shoes by the time you arrive.
I really like the second person's case. All the advice is great too.
Neil Laurence That portable typewriter's case ?
Laughable for real, pretentious. Nobody packed underwear and nobody actually gave any advice except for rolling clothes.
You really don't need to see someone pack underwear
That last suitcase is amazing!
3:14 !!! I love his bag !!
I would not put my tie in the shoe. At buisiness meetings your tie will not smell any good.
If your smart shoes smell, you really need to clean them or consider replacing them...
Pack socks in shoes
I usually stuff camphor in my shoes to keep away odour
Peter Wiberg Bojsen well yeah if you have stinky feet or shoes definitely dont
thought the exact same thing!!
get to your destination, unpack, and say, "fuck...theyre all wrinkled."
Shoes are dirty, how can you put them with underwear and clean clothes?
Yes, suitcase all the way! (With dust bag of course).... Suitcase and briefcase get it done for me on most trips 😎
3:20 - 3:29 what brand of shoe is the mustard colour one? I love it and must have a pair! Someone please respond.
Car Shoe, and it's more of a tan suede
thanks man
Just enjoy the show guys. At least it's satisfying to watch.
Can anyone id the first bag. It’s amazing

Wow... That last suitcase...
It's ugly, has no special pockets, totally un-functional, of course its fashionable, name brand and therefore very expensive. How friggin ridiculous..
Which company is the sunglasses in the end?
chris k. Persol 714. Great shades!
They made sure you saw orlebar brown swim trunks logo twice...YAAAAYYY!!! Marketing!!!
I kinda like the brown bag.
God, I miss business trips!
Anyone know who makes that black and mustard yellow striped t shirt from the first clip? Thanks.
Nice! - Josh Vignona

Always make a list and put it inside the suitcase
Sad to see they don’t shoot these types of videos anymore
does anybody know what brand of folding sunglasses the last gentleman put into his suitcase?
Nice video
We should do this on the Net-a-porter channel as well!
What is the brand of the second briefcase?
0:49 where these sneakers are from? How should I get these sneakers?
These vidoes are atheistically pleasing, jazzy, it is nice. More art then advice which is differnet and nice.
great stuff
3:14 Where can I get that bag ?!
Globetrotter
I'd love to know who makes that leather bag. Anyone know?
What type of luggage is the black suitcase packed in the second segment? The luggage isn't listed among the other products.
Does anyone know the brand and model of the sunglasses at 3:26 ? Can anyone provide a link ?

Unless it's a bed in the hotel, and you'll leave and never be come back...
That last suit was amazing...who makes that?
Does anyone know the exact name of that first brown bag? Thanks.

Dont understand how some people are comfortable with packing shoes together with their clothes. Seriously only the second guy uses the dust bag
And a link to the main bag ?
These videos were the best. Not sure what happened with Mr Porter.
All fluff and no substance will do that. Props to them for aesthetics, though.
I read the description box. I saw all the items and where they were from, but I didn't see where the bag was from
awwww thats the first thing I also wanted to know. plz let us know abt that bag 😍😍😍😍😭?
its a Mulberry Clipper bag
Yes. The Mulberry Clipper Bag starts at $2,095 US.
I like the last suitcase. The greenish one.
It's a globetrotter case.

What is the brand of the holdall bag?
You need to go a video of what underwear businessman wearing?
"Hi my name is Seamus Hoar"
Me an intellectual: 'Nice name, carry on'
Does anyone know where I can get that orange and black striped T-shirt?
Intresting with the rolling part instead of folding. Nevertheless, very informative video indeed!
song´s name is: Love Sneakin Up by Tim Garland and Hannah Jones
You never see businessmen running around with a dufflebag like that first guy. I agree with rolling when you can't be bothered to fold though.
What size was the globetrotter?
Thanks
Eu adorei a terceira mala.
Muito bom este vídeo
Thank you - Obrigada
That is an awesome weekender. I'd love to find one under $100 :o
Very elegant video and interesting as well.
Name of the jazz song?
Anyone know the last guys watch? Brand/model?
Anyone knows the brand of the striped blue and white shirt of the third guy? The one with blue background and white thin stripes?
Really enjoyed this video ! Well done
What watch is the first guy wearing?
I would never put used shoes next to clothes. Bad start.
What brand and model is that third luggage, does anybody know?
my clothes are so dirty they crawl into the suitcase themselves
snarkey5 And they fight with each other and make a mess of themselves
Does anybody know what watch is the first guy wearing?
what kind of dress shoes are in the second vid?
whats the brand of suitcase the second guy has
jared grant Mulberry, but they might have discontinued this style already
What's the name of the song?
'I've Got The Packing Blues'
Its a Mulberry leather holdall. a pretty expensive bag.
does anyone know what kind of moccasins/slippers those are that gotz offergeld has?
Anybody recognise the soundtrack? I've got the tune stuck in my head but can't work out what it is.

Very nice video. But I guess that all of these items are from Mr. Porter. They seem brand new.
Nice
Can I have the designer's name of Duncan Ellis's bag?
That last guy who put the shoes on the bed reeeeeee
Turnbull & asser ties as shoe blocks? That must be some kind of sartorial murder...
Car shoe, you can google it or check out on mr porter.
A Globe-Trotter case. Cost about a grand but will no doubt last a life time and look better with age.
Same same (I’m just like the 3rd guy)
It's from Globe-Trotter
This was really helpful! Thanks!
The first guy is going to have a really wrinkly time unpacking that weekender.
What, no need to pack under ware ?
I thought the same thing, and socks...
I don’t wear them too, I wrap my schlong with a paper napkin and I’m good to go.
WHY Are this people putting dirty shoes on TOP of their beds?????!!!!! I'm disgusted.
Please me more the way i packs!
