The plushie is so cute! Tip from one fleece loving sewing enthusiast to another: A normal stitch will fuzz up over time, especially when cuddling! To prevent this, you could use a twin needle and do an overlock stitch (not use an overlock machine which cuts off the fabric - just the overlock setting on your normal machine). If that's too much, a zig zag will also do a lot for you here. Alternatively, you can fold in the edges of the applications a bit, use needles to hold it down, and then sew around it. And if you're really experimental, you could try felt applications. Felt doesn't fuzz up at all! Happy sewing ❤
