This is BS I had four children and seven grandchildren and never had a problem now my eighth grandchild keeps putting her hands through the crib and the legs through the crib bars and we can’t even get bumper pads for the bed. BS
So how are we supposed to keep our babies from falling back and hitting their heads on the railing of the crib? My son is 10 months and sleeps on his own now. He gets excited or when he gets pissed he falls out and hit his head. Now I have a breathable mesh crib liner that goes around the railing for protection. Even if it’s breathable, is it still not safe for my baby?
Exactly! Plus don’t babies have soft spots on their heads. The padded bumper provides protection for them. Now the baby will have a dent in their head. This is dumb!
I hope the bill gets veto. People should have say on how they want to take care of their child. I was born within 1990 to 2016 with a padded bumper in my crib and came out fine. It should be SUGGESTED not a LAW to not have padded bumpers if the parent chooses so. Let people have rights over their lives.
It’s sept 24 …. I’m in the UK & my granddaughter fell In her cot last week & hit her head because of no BUMPERS !!😢 Can’t buy them anywhere …. I’m making my own as I did for my boys 33 years ago !!!

There are so many other things that are killing babies and they choose to ban pillows 😂
