*I actually prefer plants so much more than flowers! ^^ There's something about the simple green life that compliments a room more than shades of colour in flowers.*
We actually get 60% of our oxygen from plankton so I think taking care of our ocean is more important. But planting trees is a good start. 😁 Love this video. My mama has a green thumb so I grew up surrounded by various plants, orchids, succulents, etc. so this video makes me happy too. Hehe
Scary thing is plankton blooms which create most of the oxygen, have been decreasing in the past years, they also provide food for many ocean animals, future looks bleak.
Yes! They are our main oxygen factory is because the ocean is much bigger than land in area, shallow ocean that can receive light has algae that can sometimes turn the water green-ish color
@@dimasfabiancannavaro1457 these blooms are a process called eutrophication. Man made nitrogen based fertilizer leaking into waterways worsens this greatly. The algae creates dead zones and hypoxia in the ocean. Sad future we’re going into.
Burgundy it has a figurative meaning. Everything can be achived when you put the passion, determination and believe you can achieve it. This qoute is also written in my plant pot soo...
This is such an aesthetically pleasing video. When i was looking at other videos of air purifying plants, they all had that robot voice narrating a bunch of stock photos. I appreciate this a lot!
A few things to note for new plant owners: 1. Research the plant before you buy it. My ivy grows VERY differently than my umbrella plant which is yet even more different than my succulents. I have 10 plants in my bedroom (approximately 30 throughout the whole house), all with different growing needs. Were I to water them all at the same time some would thrive and some would die. 2. Even the hardiest plants can be killed if not properly maintained. I've lost several aloe plants to things like root rot and sun burn. Succulents and cacti require very different watering, lighting and soil types to traditional house plants. Most fertilizer will kill succulents. Succulents DO NOT use the same soil! You can even get spider mites indoors if you have an open window nearby and they're difficult to get rid of. 3. Many don't stay the size you buy them at, so plan for growth (sometimes a lot!) both with space in your house and regularly upsizing the pots they're in. And as you said, 100% IF YOU HAVE ANIMALS PLEASE RESEARCH AHEAD OF TIME! I purchased a plant earlier this year that I knew cats could be sensitive to, but had no idea how massively allergic they would be (I cleaned up a LOT of puke until I figured it out). Even through a closed door animals can detect things like pollen and it can have disastrous results.
Bethany Luong yes, they can come in the soil you bought the plant is, they can come on new plants, I’ve heard them travel up to a second floor without any open windows. It doesn’t happen all the time but definitely can happen
I've had my pothos for about 6 months no and all its grown is one baby leaf... I always hear that they grow so fast but mine seem to be growing soooo slowly! Can you suggest why?
Millie Burns what variety is it? The pearls and jade variety shown in this video is a slow grower because of the white variegation in the leaves. The other varieties do grow faster. It could also need repotted to a larger container or positioned with better lighting.
Ikr I just took a two leaf cutting if my mum's pothos plant and after leaving it in a bottle of water fit a month or so it has its own roots and five leaves also spider plants are really nice and easy to propagate if the have babies
I had so much fun filming this plant tour and learning about so many new plants! Which one of these are your favorite? Comment below! BTW if you liked this video, you'll enjoy this one too! → 10 Ways to Reduce Waste | bit.ly/2yQVknk

This video was relaxing and also really helpful, I'm doing a school project were we're required to find some sort of challenge and responsibility to handle for a couple months and I think raising a Peace Lily should be a pretty fun experience.

Always love how you deliver the message on your video and this one is my favorite 🌿
I am moving and really wanted some greeneries that is low maintenance yet have a good impact for my new flat. I used to have pots of succulents cacti back when I was still renting a room for college but I want to graduate from just a cacti person.
Water lily and snake plants seems like it's a nice choice. Maybe pots of aloe vera for the kitchen. Thanks for this video ^^
