But all terrorists drive Toyotas. Wonder why... Wild guess: they are more concerned about not being stranded in the middle of the desert than about pseudo patriotism.
One thing I found out after helping my sister that had a baby recently, is that in the Silverado at least in the 3/4 ton and 1 tons, they don't put those little bars in the middle rear seats for the car seats to attach to, now some car seats may use different attachment styles, but the one my sister has used those little metal bar hook things between front and backs of the seats. But from what I've been told it's safer for babies and kids to ride in the middle seat in case of a side collision. I don't know if it's the same on ford or dodge trucks but I think it's pretty dumb they didn't put hooks for the middle seat when it's the safest spot. Maybe you need to do a little investigating into that one, because for all the people that use their trucks as family vehicles, I think their kids safety should be number one priority. So maybe that's something you can point out in future videos.
The LT Trail Boss is the trim level to get in the new gen Silverado - it's gorgeous! I do wish the tires were a bit bigger though, slightly on the small side.
I like this video lots of people make videos while showing their faces and talking too much without paying attention that audience wants to see the damn truck and enjoy it not seeing someone who is looking to become a celebrity... very thankful for your well explained video. Well done 👌🏻
I also really like that they don’t have a gas cap. I recently rented a Tahoe and enjoyed that I didn’t have to deal w the gas cap. I know, that makes me sound super lazy, but I liked it!
Great review, Great truck. I felt the same way about the looks at first too. You've got the best truck review on you tube by far. Keep up the good work my friend.
57 thousand dollars!!! Right now I plan on getting a new 2019 All Star edition 4x4 4 door. For 37k And have a 6 inch lift kit put on for a couple thousand more. That price is freaking unbelievable.
Imo , I think this New Silverado looks great. I had liked it when i first seen it. I agree that there are some nice features in /on this New Silverado. The Trailboss is a good looking truck as is the Up level High Country. For me it would be a Toss up as to which trim level to go with and what color. Good video and review , Thank you !
Just picked one up. All black so the front isn’t a different color but have gotten A LOT of compliments. First truck so not much gauge it off of but I’m loving it so far.
I never had a loyalty to any 1 manufacturer. I did over 8 months of in depth research and test drives of all the major truck brands before I ended up going with the 2017 F250. And I'm so happy with my decision. It's an Amazing truck! This Chevy trail boss looks good too, has some great features but in my opinion, the negatives outweigh the positives. With my F250, I can't find any negatives that really make it a deal breaker. It's the 1st Ford I ever owned. Based on my research, Ram was really close, but Chevy has just not caught up to Ford & Ram from a P/U truck stand point. I've owned both Chevy & Toyota P/U's prior. The F250 still seems so far ahead of anything I've seen to date, it's hard to watch any more videos that compare models. If you had my truck, you'd understand..... nothing against Chevy, but something is making them lacking in the truck sales race.
Serious question what stood out with the F250? I, too drove all three trucks and found the HD GMs to both ride and handle the best. The Duramax has proven itself to be very reliable along with the Allison transmission. All three trucks are great imo but nothing about the F250 was head and shoulders above the competition. Also, Ford's labor rate is double for the F250/F350. Chevy and Dodge are the same across the board.
It doesn't "feel like it has the mass" because it doesn't have the mass. You're comparing it to a truck that weighs 3/4 of a ton more. Of course your F-450 isn't as nimble.
Beautiful truck! All new trucks are pricey folks ..& guess what? Used trucks are pricey too. So, I will buy my trucks *brand new* & keep em a long time! No beat up ...then shined up & defects hidden junk etc. Ford or Chevy trucks.. cant go wrong! Owned both.. great experiences. Altho lean more towards Ford Trucks. Keep Truckin!
I love this truck I think it rocks . I like the custom a little better just because I like the Chevrolet across the front grill . I think the new design is brilliant!
Very surprised about what you said about the interior vs Ford. The Silverado's interior looks cheap but I guess I'd have to spend time in one of these new Silverados to see for myself. Thanks for the review!
You know i think the mistake was that you got the Trailboss. The high country is nearly the same price and it has all of those features you mentioned. I thought you were saying the entire Silverado line-up was bad. The Trailboss is a waste of money. You should Review the GMC Sierra Denali, thats the truck to get.
If Chevy would offer the 6.2 across the board they’d sell a few more trucks cause I can’t lie that 5.3 is weak sauce compared to what ram and ford offer I have driven all 3 when I was truck shopping 2 years ago
Chevy’s new interior looks a lot better than the wonky Tonka Toy truck plastic interior they were using for so many years, it’s a massive update for sure.
“Feels more nimble than my F450” good lord I’d hope so. You reckon it feels more nimble than a 3500HD or nah? You know, since it’s a 1500 and you’re comparing the ride to the biggest and longest Superduty that Ford makes. That’s just dumb, here I’ll try it.... “My motorcycle is more nimble in traffic than my car” Very helpful.
Nice video , I do light the button for the reverse sencer , which ford doesn't. But the buttons on the dash look cheap and the seats look plan and cheap. But I will keep my 2016 F350 platinum. 75,000 miles and she still runs and looks like a brand new truck.
I totally agree with you about how the looks and style of new body styles grow on you.. I didn’t care for the new Ford Superdutys at first but now I like them, especially after riding in a friends King Ranch F250
The front end still looks over done to me. Looks like they decided they wanted the fastest front end out of the big three trucks. I do like the new box though...
Paid 43k for mines. I don’t think it’s worth more than 45k for the LT package. And the Sierra AT4 doesn’t look as sporty in my opinion. Plus don’t want to pay over 55k for a dressed up Trail Boss with additional cameras even if it has the 2,500.00 6.2 option.
Thanks for the review, and pointing out the positive improvements, as there are plenty! I own the truck you are driving and traded my Ford. Although ford is a great truck, the fit and finish on the interior is absolutely terrible. I am not sure where they went wrong but need to correct ASAP. Silverado interior is solid and well layed out.
Why don't you talk about how good that 8 speed transmission is? Mine started with that infamous hard shifting issue at 450 miles! I hate this truck! $50,000 out the window...fyi, there's no fix.
I think this is a really nice looking truck, just a few things i could see extra put on the truck for the price. I hope you will get the chance to drive the High Country or the new GMC Denali with the HUD and all the other upgrades on them. Thanks for the video.
Steering wheel in my 2016 is perfectly round. It is offset (very slightly). It got a lot of hype for no reason. I never give it a second thought. Check the accuracy of your info before spouting off...
The side view is nice, the bumper should match the paint, would look imo so much better. The interior is nice but and not having sat in the seats, they look a bit stiff, plus should again imo have a proper working tailgate handle. (Have we become that lazy...) I am glad i didn't wait for this truck. Great final review.

Hey BTBR, could you make any suggestions on how to care for the soft interiors of these trucks to your dashboard, etc. does/t go hell in a few years??? It would be very useful.
The only thing that kind of suck is what a buyer wants they should get for example I think the factory power steps if you want it on a WT ,or a LT package we should be able to get it or if you want a 6.2 on a trail boss we should be able to get it and not have to get a LTZ or high country package
I love the truck I want one so much I'm watching you drive and I'm thinking that everything looks familiar then I saw the exit sign and I'm like hes in Corpus Christi ! I lived there for a year haha
Just a word of caution - the new 2019 Silverado-Sierra twins can’t be ordered or does Not come with the power brake and foot pedal adjuster. This is normally a pretty standard option for most trucks (GM, Ram, Ford)...I own a 2017 Silverado, but some “bean counter” within GM axed this very useful feature......why?
Nice, nice truck; as an Excellent chevy owner, hey did a great job! He pricing could be better, but so are the other manufacturers sticking high prices on us consumers! 👍
I was born into a Chevy family. However I've hated the Chevy designs for a very long time now. I bought a Toyota Tundra because of it. I do like this design. I have a 2006 Tundra that has a horrid turning radius. I might have to rethink Chevy. ;)
Was very interested in the Trailboss a few months ago but none at the Chevy dealerships. So I went for the 2019 Ram Laramie 1500 with air suspension, full size sunroof, reclining rear seats crew cab, 6.4ft. bed with bed extender and etorque engine. Thanks much for reviews!! @@BTBRVReviews this is true but me personally I fell better with a key security wise. (It just me I know it's not true) but I absolutely love the convince of a push button and never having to dig you key out of your pocket.
Well it seems that every you tube reviewer likes the new design. Or it "growz on them". Really?? For most reviewers this is their job and if they bash the truck the manufacturer will not let them review any of their products. However this seemed like an honest review. Thank you for that. However I think GM really missed the mark on both the Silverado and Sierra. In design, motor selection and interior. Hopefully the HD truck war fairs better in the next year.
Are... are u Corpus? Idk why I never expect to see UA-cam channels filming close to where I live lol. Shouldn't feel weird. Anyways I enjoy the content and keep it up 👌👍.
The unlock function, on the inside of the door handle, is pretty much standard on every car with keyless entry. I can't understand why anyone would want to have to press a button when getting in. Also completely removing the tailgate lever is stupid , af period
As a non truck owner, who will be buying my first next year, I've watched a hundred reviews of the different trucks and I don't understand why the truck manufacturers don't take good ideas from the other to improve their truck more quickly. It's like they have egos and for example RAM wouldn't just put a step in the corner like chevy. This goes for all of them, I don't understand it, just because your not first doesn't mean it won't help your truck be more capable.
Attention to detail isn’t your strong suit is it because you have wipers running for no apparent reason but still keep on yammering about the truck. Nice job ............. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Yeah it is a nice truck, but time to go turn it in and get back in the 450. Very good review as usual. I have recently had the chance to sit in and check out some of new Rams that a few folks i know have bought. Even though the chevy is nice, I agree when you say Ram has given the other truck makers a big 🖕. I do believe that when Ram comes out with the HD versions of the new truck, hopefully with this awesome interior, i will be trading the ol’ stroke for a cummins. Whats the prospect on your next truck BTBRV?
@3:24 ...Not great for security or safety to have every door unlock from each of the door handles. If you enter your truck anybody can unlock and enter the truck just by pushing the door handle button making it easy for the 'criminally inclined' to gain access to the truck interior(while your there or nearby). Imagine a dark parking lot at night and someone (stranger) just gets into the passenger side of the truck, not a good scenario!!! The unlock should only be on the drivers door, one press driver unlock, two press unlocks all doors.
Robert Kohut Not sure about Chevy but my Charger has the button on the door handle and the car knows if the key is inside or out. If you leave the key fob in the car you can lock it in there and the door will not unlock, I know from experience.
@bigtruckbigrv i just wanted to get sum feed back from you im a chevy guy but i really dig the 2019 ram 1500 crew cab which truck you think is a better buy since you reviewed both 2019 chevy 1500 crew cab please let me know thankyou really enjoy all the content on your channel keep up the good work!👊🤙
Personally I think they are both great trucks. I prefer the interior of the RAM over both Ford and Chevy. The uConnect system is a little glitchy at times though. Both Chevy and Ford have good infotainment systems but not nearly has advanced in terms of features, controls, and appearance. The Chevy has better space in the bed as well as a more aggressive front end. In terms of which truck is the best buy? Well, that comes down to specifics related to the package and features your looking for as well as what discounts and incentives the dealership is willing to offer. I'd suggest taking them both for a spin, see if you can demo each for a few days and make a comparison list on the things you love and dislike about each truck. And then evaluate that against the price. I know the answer isn't clear cut, but with trucks being as nice as they are, there is no way to give you a clear cut answer.
Depends on how it’s built. It’s the package that matters. I know some old 4.3 V6 Silverado’s that will smoke a 5.3 on a drag race and tow almost as much. 6.2 is absolutely the best engine for GM half ton trucks but that depends what package it comes with. A 5.3 silverado with a 3.73 axle may probably smoke a 6.2 sierra with 3.23 axle. Given that the silverado is about 100+ lbs lighter as well.

Is it worth getting ? Or what other 4x4 you recommend
We need a 2019 ram review. When are you going to do one?
I second that. He already did one.
What's with the windshield wiper blades on without any percipitation.
I’m glad you are not like other channels who only like 1 brandy
Brand
Are... are u Corpus? Idk why I never expect to see UA-cam channels filming close to where I live lol. Shouldn't feel weird. Anyways I enjoy the content and keep it up 👌👍.
What’s the difference between 2020 Chevy Silverado Trail Boss vs 2020 GMC Sierra Elevation x31?
The unlock function, on the inside of the door handle, is pretty much standard on every car with keyless entry. I can't understand why anyone would want to have to press a button when getting in. Also completely removing the tailgate lever is stupid , af period
Why are the wipers on? Not being critical.
I like the model features ....Oh and Oris great watch ;)
Great review! Not considering the prices between the two but after driving the 19’ Ram which truck do you prefer?
Apparently, Chevy forgot to put a switch in to turn off the windshield wipers!
Hello from Puerto Rico! in this package comes in diesel and the differentials are with automatic look like the zr2? Thank you
Why are your wipers on with a blue sky and only wisps of clouds?
Nice truck
Surprised that no one side swiped you, bunch of nuts out there.
This goes for all of them, I don't understand it, just because your not first doesn't mean it won't help your truck be more capable.
jabojr GM has probably patented the design, that’s why.
Attention to detail isn’t your strong suit is it because you have wipers running for no apparent reason but still keep on yammering about the truck. Nice job ............. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I couldn't disagree more about the seats. They are very firm, so if you like that i get it. Fords seats are much softer, both XLT, and up.
Love this truck it's badass hands down.Only thing Chevy needs to do is get rid of that damn wood inside and get rid of that gear shift on the column
Is there anyone having transmission problems on the trail boss?
Dude its a new model year....lol...give a while...lmao
@@Anth230 its sucks
The new 8 speed for 2019-2020 is coded MQE.
Wait 15 year's from now. The Ram won't last.
Very sporty truck! Love it.
Corpus Christi...Yea!!
I'm not of fan of the 5.3! I have a suburban 5.3 feels underpowered! 6.2 should be the only engine available for gm trucks in v8 displacement
Depends on the gear ratio.. some 5.3s got quite a bit of power
