What's insane and creepy is the timing of this movie's release. IT wakes from hibernation approximately every 27-30 years. The original came out in 1990, the new film comes out this year, 2017. Its been 27 years now. IT will awaken to feed on the fear of humankind yet again.
dantheman1984 Right, I loved the first movie because it genuinely creeped you out instead of just jumping at you 24/7 throughout the movie. This movie is gonna be so cliché... cool quote
Alberto Martinez idk why but clowns in my opinion were just so unnaturally happy it disturbing even before they started getting sharp teeth and wanted to kill you.
I remember reading about why clowns scare us some time ago. It's something to do with how we as humans read people by subtle facial cues and expressions but when the face is covered in heavy makeup, you can't read that person so the brain can't tell if they are a threat or not so you feel uneasy and scared.
IT was one of the first horror books I read back in the day. Saw the TV series way recently (after the new movie was announced). Definitely ready to be spooked again..!😨 PS- Achara at 1:17 secs was amazing..!! 😅
It's nice to know that Achara has the same reaction to Pennywise as I do. I don't feel so alone. Seriously, everyone else who likes IT/Pennywise was basically cheering when he showed...where as I was like "NO, DAMN YOU!" :D
Great reaction guys! Wish there were more "thriller" style movies like this one. They need to reboot "Salem's Lot". Achara, you've got the most gorgeous smile I've ever seen. Fun to watch you guys squirm in discomfort. Means the trailer did its job.
Had to learn how to wash my hair with eyes open, the creepiest shit appears when I close my eyes during showering, stuff I've never seen, leaving me to wonder what the hell I've seen before, wishing anything to stop myself doing so in the past. Especially since seeing lots of weird hallucinations or day-nightmares of pale white figures, one being a girl crawling torwards me with long black hair covering her face and a white dress. While she was moving I could feel the floor itself being pushed down slightly, until it seems I was forced to point my head in another direction and her being gone once I looked back. And an actual nightmare where I was in cabin with 3 people, one old woman and one teen girl, and a teen boy, with me being I think 11 when I had the dream (me being 12 now). A picture flew through the window, with a cracked skin, shrunken eye woman, looking like she was dying. A few minutes later, I look up to a scene, the teen girl asking what was wrong and the elderly woman choking on food that had been there apparently. The dream itself zoomed on the womans face showing the exact thing I'd seen in the picture. It ended, I woke up in a burst of sweat, and the dream repeated almost a year later.
You have to keep in mind that IT was written in 1980, so this movie isn't following a trend. Rather, the trend is following King's books such as IT and Stand By Me. IT is the predecessor, not a follower.
Cant wait until they also do the next part in the story for the 2nd movie as them as adults coming back to the town.... and can for another movie they should adapt is Salem's Lot... that Stephen King story would be awesome to redo as well... :)
when i saw the orignal movie i could not sleep for days. It was a terrifying movie for a kid to watch. although i dont get scared of gost or paranormal movies
Yes.. Nd one thing dat I missed in the trailer is dat Bill didn't stutter.. As a kid he was called Stuttering Bill.. There are a couple of his dialogues here bt they didn't show him stuttering. It's a crucial part of the book.
this movie scared the hell out of me as a kid... pennywise tormented me in my nightmares but nevertheless a great classic horror movie.... cant wait to see this one
Not sure which is more frightening...Alien Covenant or It....Hate to go against Alien Covenant but we already know what the Aliens look like and what happens with Aliens and Humans for the most part, It is different and it looks more freaky and terrifying cause you really don't know what direction they are going cause it's not doing what they did in the other film...which is great of course..so I think this would be more scary than Alien Covenant....
There was a hindi TV show called woh which was pretty much copied from it in its early days, but then it became strangely original when it dove into the back story of the clown. It was very creepy, unsettling and uncomfortable for a 7 year old me.
There will be a lot more gore and violence in this adaptaion, compared to the original TV mini series. That one had to be toned down and scenes/characters had to be cut. They now are making two movies, one of the kids part and a sequel for the adults, so they can have a longer more direct translation of the book. And because the book is way more violent and horrific than the mini series was, this movie version will have an R rating and be a lot darker.
Looks like it may be pretty good. It's a bit annoying though hearing a lot of people comparing it to "Stranger Things". When it's them that borrow and pay homage to King's "Stand by Me" and "IT".
it remind me of dreamcatcher with all the kids except they don't have powers but god this going to be such a great movie this scared me as a kid there's no way my kids are going to see it and live with nightmares like I did
Could you please do a reaction on Britains Got Talent golden buzzer act singer Sarah ikumu please! She's only 15 but she's up there with celine dion, mariah Carey, aretha Franklin!
This movie will be re-made by the 'House of Bhatts' .. The super-talented Mohit Suri will direct it.. Genius script writer Robin Bhatt is expected to start working (copying scene by scene) on it soon .. :-D..
Saw the movie last night (or early morning at midnight)... It was great ! Definitely kept you on edge the whole time. And the clown IS scarier than Tim Curry. You should go see it.
I totally agree, horror movies these days are stupid and full of gore not even scary. I like suspense, chilly scary, even a little thinking involved. Hopefully it's good.
right from my childhood, I have a phobia of spiders and clowns...!! but still I wanna watch this film... even though I know I am gonna regret watching it later on...!!
Well, Strager things would have borrowed from IT, as the original was made 28 years ago if you take they wouldve film at least a year in advance. We all watched things older than our age. I remember one of my mates telling me he watched Robocop when he was 9. I was like wtf? My parents went mental at me when i was maybe 17 for me and my mate to get our other mates mum to rent FACE/OFF for us.

ahhh oh wow that’s really interestingly amazing, very clever that they did that😯😅
Who else is watching every IT Trailer reaction on UA-cam.
Russkiy Deutsch Got me.
Yup over here.
Guilty
Still doing it.
Russkiy Deutsch Hi there Me
the boy with glasses is Finn Wolfhard who plays the role of Mike in Stranger Things. There you go, that's a similarity!
It is Mike. Not Will.
*Finn
for the record.....the original IT movie was waaaaaaaaaaaay before Stranger Things series...smh
OMG! it was not a movie it was a miniseries of like 5 or 6 eps
Manny Guzman 2 episodes
Achara scream scared me more 😂😂😂
This lady has such a beautiful face, I could hardly concentrate on the trailer as I was admiring it so much. Gorgeous smile too. Lucky girl!
Appearences are deceptive
Achara's primal scream spooked me more than the trailer itself. 😂

It's nice to know that Achara has the same reaction to Pennywise as I do. I don't feel so alone. Seriously, everyone else who likes IT/Pennywise was basically cheering when he showed...where as I was like "NO, DAMN YOU!" :D

This movie is part 1 of 2. The second movie will focus on when they are adults.
Great reaction guys! Wish there were more "thriller" style movies like this one. They need to reboot "Salem's Lot". Achara, you've got the most gorgeous smile I've ever seen. Fun to watch you guys squirm in discomfort. Means the trailer did its job.

-Oh they float Georgie"
Achara Kirk voice terrified me more than the trailer 😁

It looks like jaby is crying 😂
There never was a film.. It was a tv series.. And once u've watched the movie.. Do read the book.. It is amazing!
Zoofishan Kazi it wasn't a series but a two night mini-series, which was edited later on into a single film.
Bruce Bromley. Okay. Now I get it.. Thanks
The book is terrifying and horrific in many senses.
Yes.. Nd one thing dat I missed in the trailer is dat Bill didn't stutter.. As a kid he was called Stuttering Bill.. There are a couple of his dialogues here bt they didn't show him stuttering. It's a crucial part of the book.
Ray Cocker.. Yeah man.. One of the best I've ever read!

BGM and sound effects are good for this trailer. I wonder how it would be to watch a horror movie without BGM and sound effects.

Finn Wolfhard plays Mike in Stranger Things and he plays kid in this movie
Achara's scream is way too better than the trailer

I totally agree, horror movies these days are stupid and full of gore not even scary. I like suspense, chilly scary, even a little thinking involved. Hopefully it's good.
