Nea Emrys Exactly as it should be. Don't get me wrong, I loved Tim Curry's portrayal, but this seems MUCH closer to the book which is what I've always wanted.
That was lame. I don't know why everyones going crazy for that. Even Jeremy Jahns is saying it's one of the best trailer soundtracks of all time and even one of his top comments agrees with a over a hundred likes....I think it's stupid though.
They mentioned they hadn't read the book, It's tough, because normally you can say "hey, just go read the book it's great!" and while It is a great novel, man it's so long it's quite an investment of time. I get a lot of people will just be comparing this to the miniseries which was made for TV and back obviously when tv wasn't crushing it like today. Wouldn't it have been wonderful to go at this novel again as a miniseries with today's quality on Netflix or HBO or something?
John Sollock Sorry dude, but the cinematography, direction, acting and effects will all be objectively better than the old one. So no, it's definitely not "stupid shit." Calm down and look at the products objectively.
One of the many things that creep me out about this new pennywise is that his eyes look crooked. Pause the video where Pennywise says; "Here... Take it." Sooo unsettling.
I saw an early screening back in May. As someone who loves the book and the Tim Curry version, I was not disappointed. It's amazing. Everything about it. You WILL SHIT YOUR PANTS
You've got to read the book before watching this movie. Best book I've ever read. Its super long, but it also is a serious page turner, and you can't put it down. I read it in a week and I'm a slow reader. Its well worth the time. And it explains a ton that you don't get in the miniseries (and probably won't be fit into the movie).
to be clear this isn't really a reboot this version follows Stephen King's book the mini series was based around the book the Tim Curry version used elements from the book. But the 2017 version follows the book so i hope it will be good..
I have not seen the IT miniseries, but I have read the book. They say the miniseries completely deviated from the book and this new IT from the looks of it is not, seems good to me. You should probably read the book, it's a long read but a really amazing book.
Cool reaction and good dialogue. This movie does look really scary, like intensely creepy. I feel like the angles for the cameras are adding something really memorable to the scenes. I think that this has the potential to be a classic horror movie.
You know what would be cool if we get a scene with Tim curry and it turns out to be pennywise and Tim does his old voice, it'll be a huge ass nostalgia trip
Dunno if anyone noticed it.... but Pennywise flickers into existence @ the 3:00 minute mark when the kid is in the sewer pipe. Didn't notice him flickering until I downloaded the trailer and went through it literally frame by frame, lol.
I'm not really stoked on remakes or modern horror but this... I think this has the potential to be better than the original, but the original will always be a classic!
I feel like if the movie is as good as the trailer sets it up as, it could get some Oscar nominations. Maybe original score or cinematography but cinematography has some tough competition rn. If Bill Skarsgård nails his Pennywise performance, he very well might end up with a supporting actor nomination. Lets hope this movie is great.
People should do a parody movie of Stephen King movies to make a spoof of. You know that would be almost like Scary Movie that making parody of Scream, Saw and horror movies with Anna Faris and Regina Hall. They should make a parody of IT/Pennywise character and/or any Stephen King Characters to be making fun of.
I'm very excited! I wonder if we'll get cameos at all of the original actors from the 1990 adaptation. Anyway it looks creepy and fun! I can't wait to "float" into the movie theater :D
PLeeasse tell me I'm not the only one who's noticed Ryan's crazy gradual weight loss in the past year or so?? I know I'm not crazy here people! I've seen like no comments on this!
Who wants to hear a scary story? My mom took me to swimming lessons because I've been having trouble. The coach had a strange aura around her, almost.. evil. The other kids were playing while waiting for everyone else to arrive, some of them were just floating on their backs, relaxing. I didn't want to go in that pool, but I didn't really have a choice. When the rest of the kids got there, the coach said, "Time to start learning to float everyone!" So, a few kids started to lie on their backs. When I looked away, I heard a splash. I look around, one by one, kids popped up, belly up. Blood started to fill the pool. That's when I noticed one kid in the back round. He just stood there, staring. With one awkward moment, he said "Don't worry. You'll float too." With that last sentence, everything went back. All I saw before I got knocked out, was the creepy smile of a clown. Of... Pennywise...
Pennywise gives me 'cartoon' vibes in this one.. his front teeth give me these bugs bunny vibes lol. That being said this looks pretty fcking cool I cant wait to go see it! Even if its bad it looks like it would be super fun to watch at the theatre
Stephen King's work work well on paper but very rarely do they translate well to screen, Children of the Corn, ugh Maximum Overdrive(god that shit was stupid) and the Langoliers but this looks good.
Honestly it looks like a decent horror film, but I've noticed that quite a lot of the memorable iconic horror villains (Jason, Freddy, Leatherface, etc) are starting to be re made into modern versions. Not many people are too psyched about them mostly because the general public didn't think those movies were actually good they just remember the iconic villain. So in conclusion what I'm saying here is, the people really want to see those iconic villains make their mark. Everybody is sick and tired of the typical excorcism, demonic, haunting doll, satanic possession horror movies, because it's just recycled topics that have gotten old. We want to see a legitimately scary and terrifying movie, starring Jason, or Freddy, or Pennywise. We want to really see a good ass horror movie director (or whole team of them) get together to really put some scare into those iconic characters instead of making cheesy slasher movies. I think it would be a really great project and idea to see those villains appear in their own movies that are just as scary as any exorcism possession movie like the Conjuring, and such. Get those mediocre directors out and bring in people like Guillermo Del Toro to direct it. We need horror masters directing real horror movies
Brilliant choice by Bill Skarsgard to put a little extra emphasis on "it" when he says "Here, take it."
Christopher Binder kinda like heaths joker “no I'm not"
There's no "not" in "Joker"
Reminded me of Tim Curry's line "that means we know each other, kee-rect?"
Couldn't disagree more. It was obvious and telegraphed and over the top. Completely cliched too.
Tough break son.
You'll float too
Pennywise The clown whats ur profile pic m8?
Pennywise The clown can i have a red balloon?
I'm not afraid of no clown you red balloon abomination!
With a few cop brewskies and a fresh rolled fatty
R u the actual bill??
It's confirmed that Pennywise will have different voices and also be very unpredictable, both childlike and super creepy.
Nea Emrys that's what I want. 💪😄
Nea Emrys Exactly as it should be. Don't get me wrong, I loved Tim Curry's portrayal, but this seems MUCH closer to the book which is what I've always wanted.
why does he have his eyes in different places?
Nea Emrys what age r the kids in this
Nea Emrys it looks like the demon also bounces around the townspeople as well. Both the "adults" in the trailer had the Pennywise buckteeth.
When you see Finn Wolfhard at the end getting chased: "NO MIKE RUN MIKE RUN!"
You'll float too...you'll float too...you'll float too...YOU'LL FLOAT TOO...YOU'LL FLOAT TOO...YOU'LL FLOAT TOO!!!!
What if u cant swim?
That was lame. I don't know why everyones going crazy for that. Even Jeremy Jahns is saying it's one of the best trailer soundtracks of all time and even one of his top comments agrees with a over a hundred likes....I think it's stupid though.
"Wait!! Wait I got it Pennywise I got it..Shit I lost It!"
Lit remix
Rob Pritch THAT SCARED ME SO MUCH
It definitely feels much closer to the book, since the book was *not* a funny story to start with.
A B A tv show would be great
The other movie looked better..this clown looks like a kid. Fuck this stupid shit.
John Sollock you must be kidding, I love Tim curry, but he looked cheap in that "film."
John Sollock Sorry dude, but the cinematography, direction, acting and effects will all be objectively better than the old one. So no, it's definitely not "stupid shit." Calm down and look at the products objectively.
At 3:29 did anyone see the clown with the tall hat in the background turn his head ?
Aumarrion Whiten it was a music clown
Andre F. Gordon Jr, oh
Aumarrion Whiten I
Didja notice - in the room with the clown, on the left side of the screen was the Tim Curry Pennywise.
The Book was one of the scariest I've ever read!! This movie seems to Make the book Justice! Can't wait!! 💋💋👊👊
This movie comes out on my little brother's birthday. I'm gonna force his ass to watch it.
The Tim Curry Pennywise impression was spot on.
I like how whenever someone sees Finn. They don’t say oh hey that’s Finn or Oh it’s mike. They just say stranger things!
🎈 here, take it...
Ok
I-
Who just watched Tyrone Watch IT?
Me
Me lol
When you realize that the dark tower is connected to it and all of the other stephen king books
1:20 Didn't they watch Stranger Things?! The fall can kill you!

But this trailer got me hooked.
Bill scarsgard is so damn hot!!!
Bunga Kejora yo what in the-
weird flex but ok
"YOU'LL FLOAT TOO"
One of the many things that creep me out about this new pennywise is that his eyes look crooked. Pause the video where Pennywise says; "Here... Take it."
Sooo unsettling.
Be glad Bill Skarsgard had the ability to do that
I saw an early screening back in May. As someone who loves the book and the Tim Curry version, I was not disappointed. It's amazing. Everything about it. You WILL SHIT YOUR PANTS
Jose Santayana It's not a copycat performance. It's unique and equally as frightening.
The new Pennywise seems cliched and lame. Trying too hard to be creepy, and relying on tropes.
It’s not scary and I’m 13 I’ve watched it loads
@@moonie9000 it’s better than Tim curry. Bill skarskard was like born to be pennywise there’s no better pennywise than him
@@moonie9000 boomers thinking nothing can be re made
Assaine clown jumps out that fucking killed me

But the 2017 version follows the book so i hope it will be good..
this trailer was nothing compared to the comic con trailer when pennywise is waiving with a babies arm then started eating it
I heard about that one. The movie looks really good so far :)
Loved your reaction!! Ya'll are awesome and I love hearing your thoughts and opinions! Great trailer
never been this early
Can anyone appreciate how good the guy on the left impression of Tim Curry’s pennywise
Thought one of you was goin to mention when mentioning the kids that Finn Wolfhard from Stranger Things is in this
They did when the first teaser trailer came out months ago. Everyone mentioned it ad nauseam lol
I shit myself...
You'll float too.
Turd, if you come with me you'll float too!
shIT lol
When your alone the monsters see you as weaker that's sounds like a great idea to go to hang out with friends on school nights have to try it
You can tell that whole 'killer clowns' shit is going to come back this year at Halloween but half of them are going to be Pennywise lol
3:32 u can see Tim currys version of it
Luke Warfield You mean that face he makes after adult Bill says "I'm not afraid of you."
They added my favourite scene in the new one, where the boat goes down the drain and pennywise is there
I have not seen the IT miniseries, but I have read the book. They say the miniseries completely deviated from the book and this new IT from the looks of it is not, seems good to me. You should probably read the book, it's a long read but a really amazing book.
YES for True Blood
Cool reaction and good dialogue. This movie does look really scary, like intensely creepy. I feel like the angles for the cameras are adding something really memorable to the scenes. I think that this has the potential to be a classic horror movie.
You're welcome. It's cool. :-D
In the sequel, Chapter Two, the gang return to the town 27 years later, as grownups, and get to face Pennywise again
They picked the right person to act as Pennywise
I'm loving IT
You know what would be cool if we get a scene with Tim curry and it turns out to be pennywise and Tim does his old voice, it'll be a huge ass nostalgia trip
Dunno if anyone noticed it.... but Pennywise flickers into existence @ the 3:00 minute mark when the kid is in the sewer pipe. Didn't notice him flickering until I downloaded the trailer and went through it literally frame by frame, lol.
This looks like a AAA horror adventure film, with no need for cliche jump scares. This movie will make a ton of money and could be insanely good.
Love it!
I wasnt sleeping tonight anyway.
I'm not really stoked on remakes or modern horror but this... I think this has the potential to be better than the original, but the original will always be a classic!

The audio can use a little spruce in up but so far i love the video and the trailer
I'm very excited! I wonder if we'll get cameos at all of the original actors from the 1990 adaptation. Anyway it looks creepy and fun! I can't wait to "float" into the movie theater :D
Dammit greg your impression of pennywise could also rival flick freaks version
I just saw this movie today and the "you'll float too" Part was different in the movie
PLeeasse tell me I'm not the only one who's noticed Ryan's crazy gradual weight loss in the past year or so?? I know I'm not crazy here people! I've seen like no comments on this!
