Thank you Rav Katz. Hashem is the ever-present light in my life, but you are the lighthouse. You have helped me so many times to find my way again when I have felt lost.
There is no greater feeling than when you realize that not only is there challenges, monsters and hurdles around every single corner, but around every corner is the chance to live up to His will.
This was sent to me by a friend and it was exactly what I needed to hear at that time and gave me so much strength. May Hashem bless you in all your endeavors
Yup, that one hit home! We need to ride the waves, the crests, the troughs, the middle waves, because HaShem made the ocean, and He put us in it for a reason. It takes bitachon. It's exhausting, but it's our job to keep learning Torah, keep praying, keep trying to make progress every day (as Lisa says she does, BH!). We are not Gedolim, but we are their descendents (and our neshamot are pieces of their neshamot), and it's our "job" and our purpose. HaShem should give us koach and simcha! May Mashiach be revealed sooner than soon! Shana tova!
ALSO, in the Torah, HaShem does not tell Avraham Avinu to sacrifice Yitchak; He tells AA to prepare Yitzchak as a sacrifice. And then, when Yitzchak asks "Where is the sacrifice?" AA replies, "HS will send us one." AND THEN the ram appears! Whatever a Tzaddik says will happen must happen! That's also the reason why it troubles me that Moshe Rabbenu curses Am Yisrael in Devarim. I would rather that he'd said, "Be careful!!!!! Be VERY careful!" rather than "predicting" the future disasters. Because, once again, what a Tzaddik says will happen MUST happen. May HaShem be kind and merciful to his beloved Yidden!
Thank you for editing this q&a into its own video!! This answer you gave was one of the most powerful pieces of consciousness that has lingered with me from T'shuva. Also, Spirit is so hilarious sometimes. You give this epic, off-the-cuff, life changing answer - bring the house down - and she's like " but his wife still died!" LMAO. This is how most of the conversations went with Jesus and his disciples. lol. #prophetproblems
We all are people but when we are in love, we love the challenge. What would love be without a challenge? It would be over. It would just be one. We chose this. Enjoy.

I understood so much about myself through this. Im very gratful to her for asking this and for being authentic.

Why does he look like he's annoyed with her??? I'm never gonna ask him any questions cause I don't want to be looked at like that.
He’s taking it all in, and processing an answer w/ a lot of info being put down
He doesn’t look annoyed
