This video is 💯 percent correct... I belong to lower middle class family. My parents are not educated..they didn't complete school. But they some how by taking loans and all gaved me education. I became a computer science engineer, currently working in IT. I remember my college days when i had classmates who belonged to upper and rich class families..their senses, way of talking, behaviour and knowledge was very par. They always showed positive and get to go approach. I never had the skills what they had at that time..i was more interested in completing the education and getting basic job and money so that i can buy things...now at this stage of life i know what i missed and lacked at that time in college. But now am working hard giving everything to upgrade my skills and give value so tht i cn get the same value back.

      This is hell true brother
Most of the middle-class kids apna full jawani isi chieez me nikal dete ki
"Ha me bhi ye sab kharidunga me bhi ye sab karunga
      Jab me khud ka kamunga"
But the problem is that after lots of hardwork when they have money for all these things
They don't have time to enjoy that
And they don't have that feeling jo sayed college ya school life me tha
      But for rich kids
They have those things when a person actually need them
So they enjoy those things carefreely
Because they don't have that fear of faliure
But a middle class or lower class ka banda sirf expections and "fear of future" me hi apna puri youth par kar deta he
      "Nehi mujhe mehnat karna hoga"
But at the end of it
A rich kid still earning better than
A hardworking middle or lower middle class kid
This may look unfair or sounds rude
But this is the brutal reality

You spit out exactly what I had in mind. My parents worship govt. jobs, stable jobs, 0% risk. I tell them I wanna explore what I love working hard at, what I think every (fcuking) time, I see a lot of doors open for me but I can't because they say crack NEET uske baad college me jaa ke karna, pehle ek base bana lo, woh sab karoge toh jyada paise nahin kama paaoge, woh agar fail ho gaya toh kya karoge, pehle ek "base" bana lo, wagera, wagera. That "fear" you were talking about, it's there. These boundaries are driving me savage. It's sucking my "will" to do those things. Sitting on a chair & table with books, no contact with friends, relatives. Sometimes it's like I've not seen the sun for long. I'm becoming a person I never wanted to be. Rude. But, they have done a lot to send me to a good school, meet my needs, did whatever they could. I can't say now ki I don't wanna do this. It's like a trap, which I'm not able to get myself out of. Basically, fcuked.

As a person highly interested in clinical psychology do you have any advice on this career move as I see Indians obsessed with psychiatrists and neglecting clinical psychotherapists ? Should a financially ambitious guy choose this career path of CP? or is doing banking or management an advantage ?
Edit : I am good at finance and accounting but kind of hate it (no emotional inclination) as compared to psychology where I am highly interested and inclined and competent as well but lack the drive to pursue it as I am highly Ambitious(in terms of making money) in personality.

If you are the best in your field, an expert - be it any field in the world - it will allow you to have an abundance of money and success. So go into the field you are interested in and focus on being the best at it, instead of ending up average in a popular field you are not that interested in.

Bro, a free advice from personal experience. Take interests in the field that are financially lucrative. Once you are financially stable, then use your money to pursue your interests and hobbies.

I never saw a professional cricketer who was in love and relationship with someone in the early stages of their life. Sports is something where consistency and focus matters and same is the case with studies. After you become an established cricketer, you can find a love but it's not the correct time right now for you to fall into these things

I've always had these same conception about wealthy family with regards to the poor family , it's the mindset you brought up onto your growing life, and that's what change the factor. It's a conditioning that you carry with urself to be, and what you think is real. And it almost rang true. Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one and for the sole purpose in this indepth message you convey brother, it really opened my eyes.

Sure they do have. But they also are emotionally empty from inside. Few of my relatives became rich by working abroad as investment bankers and company directors. Their family life is a farce. Marriage for this is just for show to appear Indian before their parents back in India. But both spouses in these cases are involved in extramarital affairs and each partner turn a blind eye to affair of the other. They are so opn about commoditizing relationships that they even pack condoms in bahs of high school going cousins. Our family here in India try to stay as much away from them as possible. Because of them working abroad is stigmatized in my family.
