You have chosen the best possible moment to become a Wintersun fan. Their album Time II, that's been in the making since 2008 I believe, is finally coming out this year and from the samples they've released, it's fucking massive.
There are two more songs from this same rehearsals session: “Time” and “Land of Snow and Sorrow”.

I definately did enjoy this reaction. It was a pleasure to watch your eyes light up with joy and to see your excitement when you heard something that you particulary loved. It's rare to see a reactor who's as genuine as you. No need for elaborate descriptions or pointing out how many goosebumps you got. Great reaction, a classic song and amazing performance. But as mentioned there are others from the same session. I would recommend the track Time. Its a masterpiece. Enjoy 🤘🏻

for more Finnish heavy metal i suggest Amorphis and song to go is The Bee. i feel that The Bee gives out perfectly what that band is now after decades of performing and recording.

I would also recommend Loneliness by them.
Some info since you liked the orchestration and symphonic background. The guys in the video are playing over a backing track with around 100 or more different tracks. All of those were composed, played, recorded and mixed by Jari, the lead singer, There are a few exceptions of course, like he's not doing the female choir voices. :)

From the DVD that came with these rehearsals: over 1000 (maybe even 1500) unique tracks, with over 20 different instruments.
It's so worth it to check out more from Wintersun. They've got a place in my heart from the first time I heard them. My favorites are 'Time' and 'The Forest that Weeps'.
