- Hiking to the summit of Kebnekaise, the highest peak in Sweden has been on my to-do list for a couple of years now and this summer we decided it was time. With me on this summer adventure were my girlfriend Elin and my good friend Marcus and together we planned to summit Kebnekaise and then drive to Lofoten in Norway to see if it really was as beautiful as social media portrayed it.
This video is part 1 of 2 from my 2019 summer adventure. In the next video, we continue towards Lofoten islands in Norway so if you haven't already, make sure to subscribe so you don't miss out on the next part.
The second part of this summer adventure:

Nice video! That place is beautiful! Hopefully, I can get out that way one day and get some footage of my own to put up on the channel.
So sorry about your knees. The video was nicely filmed. Thank you for taking your time to film it.
Thank you! Yeah the knee sucked, it's an old ACL injury that apparently isn't up for this type of challenges just yet...
Riktigt snygg video, förtjänar mycket mer visningar!
The knee - good one ;)
Hello
I have never climbed any mountain and now I am planning to climb kebnekaise. Is it possible/safe for a person to hike/climb to kebnekaise?
Any tip ?
Thank you

Nice video!
Do you think this adventure is suitable for a complete beginner?
For sure! It's a well marked route and good service at Kebnekaise Fjällstation so if the weather is nice it shouldn't be a problem. But be prepared for a long and physical day when you summit because it's a lot of vert to cover even if the distance is not that far.
Super beautiful though so well worth it!
@@GBGWkndWarrior thanks for answering. I'll definitely try it. I moved to Sweden recently and I'm amazed with all the nature that exist here.
I'm probably going to Kungsladen first then in another opportunity I go to Kebnekaise.
