Dette er fantastisk, takk, The video editing of all your videos are professionally top class, the filmmaking involved in this video was exceptional, I hope to be fit enough to be able to hike in Norway again next May/June before the insects arrive, and maybe Sweden to try this route and a few other trails, It would be incredible if you could film some national parks in Norway!
Thank you very much for your positive feedback! Glad you liked it. Regarding Norway I have an upload from Lofoten but have many future hikes planned (Trolltunga, Preikestolen, Kjeragbolten and Besseggen on Jotunheimen are some of the spots I want to visit. Are there any other you'd recommend?) Consider subscribing to stay tuned! :)
Impressive and beautiful landscape and really beautiful filmmaking! Exactly a week ago I hiked Kebnekaise but the weather was rough and the visibility down to 3 m on the summit. But still a fantastic but physical hard experience. I hope to get the opportunity again and hopefully on a day with better weather conditions. Thank you for a beautiful film.
Thank you very much, glad you liked it and took the time to tell me. It was quite physical indeed the summit day, hope you get clear skies on your next attempt!
Brilliant video, I have been to Keb 4 times in 2 years, every time weather has been rubbish. But I will still keep going there until I get a sunny clear summit 😅
Thank you! I’ve been there 2 times myself and got lucky to have good weather on the summit both times, always some rainy day getting to the top though! Keep it up and best of luck next time 🤞
Beautiful video. You got lucky with weather too. I've summited the peak twice and both times it was cloudy with bad visibility so didn't got to see much. Also, great decision to do it in 3 days. Both times I did it in two days and felt like super rushed!
Thank you! Indeed quite lucky with the weather, and the experience was quite chill because of the extra day like you say! It was nice and would like to go back for the eastern route at some point!
Hi Jonathan, it was nice meeting you at base camp. I really like the way you filmed the trip to the top. We were so lucky with the weather! :) I tried finding myself as an orange dot but no luck 😉 Really hope you succeed with your UA-cam channel! The quality is crazy good! All the best.
Hi Jonathan. Great video. The composition and editting is fantastic!! I really enjoyed it. In August I’ll be hiking Kungsleden from Kvikkjokk to Abisko. If the weather permits, I will do your Kebnekaise hike/climb. I have 2 questions for you. (1) Were you comfortable leaving your tent and belongings alone for the day? This worries me a bit. (2) Do you know if the Fjällstation rents micro spikes. I would prefer not to carry them for 2 weeks, if they can be rented. Regarding your idea for the new format. Excellent. I really like your silent hiking video. Please don’t change that 👍🏻👍🏻 Cheers from 🇨🇦, Cary
Hi! Thanks a lot, glad you liked it! 1) Yes I felt comfortable leaving it, I believe most people leave it. As its also quite far from civilisation I suspect any robberies would be difficult/risky for someone to do! But best to bring you valuables to the summit :) 2) You can rent and also purchase equipment there, but Id give them a call to make sure they reserve or similar to be certain! They do guided tours including gear too. Best of luck to you!
Getting from Stockholm to Nikkaluokta can be done with a night-train to arrive in Kiruna in morning from where you take a bus for approx. an hour to reach Nikkaluokta. From there it’s about a days hike to the Base Camp of Kebnekaise which you can then summit the day after. Getting to and from the base camp from Nikkaluokta is an easy trail although about 19km long. Getting to the top is more strenous but not too hard if you consider yourself having average stamina. I’ll release a how-to-hike guide that will cover any questions like these in more detail- stay tuned and subscribe to my channel to know when it’s out :) Thankful for any support!
Hello I have never climbed any mountain and now I am planning to climb kebnekaise. Is it possible/safe for a person to hike/climb to kebnekaise? Any tip ? Thank you
Hi! It’s suitable for beginners as there is no technical skills needed when ascending via the western route. It’s safe if you check the weather forecast at Base camp before heading up, you can also simply ask any guide on-site about the conditions. Plan an extra day to give yourself some wiggle-room in making it to the summit, if the visibility is poor it can be unsafe. I have plans making a how-to-hike guide for Kebnekaise and publish within a few months to go through the different routes, stay tuned!

@@JonathanLundmark what time of year did you go? This year I went there for mid summer. Was caught in a bit lightning storm 😁
@kevinsmart6985 I was there during august! A bit fewer people on trail than June/July :)
@@JonathanLundmark well let's hope for next year! I will likely go for July/August. Look forward to seeing more videos from you 👍
@kevinsmart6985 Fingers crossed and thank you! 🙏

Hej. Det är jättefantastisk video. Kan nästa video vara om vandring på rissajaure. Abisko. Sverige
Hi, awesome video and well done on the climb. Is this the western route?
Hi!
Thank you, yes this is indeed the western route.

Me gustó mucho tus vídeos , un nuevo suscriptor desde España, un saludo.
Gracias! Much appreciated 🙏

What software/app are you using in the end to show the trail to fjällstationen?
Hi! That would be ”Alltrails” which is a webpage and a mobile app to use while hiking 🥾
