Effective video as usual. Your use of a zoomed screen, a small screen as an example, clear and succinct explanations, deep understanding of this subject and fluid applications for music composing makes you one of the best UA-cam channels for Logic Pro X. I look forward to your next videos. Outstanding to say the least.

Well, at the moment I don’t really know what I could use it for. However, I know where to find this information when I need it. Anyhow: You’re the expert who knows everything about Logic … Chapeau!

It’s handy to find what the cc modifiers are called, like a reference manual. I’ve never used it and have no issues with midi mapping in the usual ways, but this type of modifier seems temporary - like a quick fix - which might be useful in some cases. Although, I think it’s easy to forget why you put modifier in the Midi FX slot of a track. Sometimes you have a use in mind, but when you come back to open the project (sometime in the future) and see ‘Modifier’ on a track, you might be confused.

Thank you for these videos and the sharing of your knowledge. This has helped me tremendously. I have a question not related to this video. I have a lot of drum instrument plugins like EZ Drummer, etc … Is there a way to build a drum map in the piano roll within the MIDI editor so instead of seeing the note names you see the drum kit piece names? I know other DAWs have this and usually call it a drum editor.

hey man, so my macbook pro m1 pro 16" just arrived 3 weeks ago. And i wanted to buy and download logic pro at the app store, but i can't. Everytime i click it, it always says "Purchase of this item is not currently available. This item is being modified. Please try again later.". The first time i thought that maybe it just need several days. But it has been 3 weeks and until now i still can't buy it. I have been search for help in the internet, but still no any answer that answer my question. Can you help me with that? thanks.

Wonder if/how Logic Pro X could convert MIDI Note Number to a MIDI CC value

I'm pretty sure it's possible, because "Note Number" is an input option, then choose Mod Wheel or some other CC. It would probably convert the pitch of notes into CC positional data, since they are both 0-127. Then click the THRU button and it would send the notes through + plus the position data? I have no clue what you would used it for though! :)

@@MusicTechHelpGuy You could use it to key track any parameter on a synth plugin.
