He comes across as phony, self important and pompous by choosing to express himself in this way. Relatively speaking his audience is comprised of pool players who are not well read or educated. It's not all bad however, he obviously loves the game and is genuinely excited. Watching Earl play, especially during his prime, is comparable to watching Larry Bird make game winning shot after game winning shot. Nobody like him in my opinion. Cheers

The guessing of shots that Earl Strickland would take was funny you al got to see the master of cue ball placement the G.O.A.T. is on the mark today reguardless of win or loss in the short race format of the Mosconni cup. Put anyone in the world in a 25 or more race on 9 ball racks well you all know Reyes is the only one who can even be close but his win loss record with Earl in that type race.
