The Ref began with the False Knockdown, Abner Mares did not even throw a Punch when Agbeko swung real hard and missed and slipped. It's so clear. The ref knew that, but this was the beginning of him throwing the fight in Abner Mares favor.

The ref was favor to Mares, it was a clear low blow, Mares should be deducted for several low blow but ref assuming that he didn't see, to the boxing counsel review the fights and ban this ref to any boxing fights.
That was the worst referee I've see in a long time the knock down in the first was a low blow and in the 11th no points deducted for at least 6 low blows from marks rematch and a different ref .
He should be banned from refereeing anymore fights disgraceful.

You gotta give credit to Mares and His Team. They had a game plan coming into the fight and stuck to it. His coaches were like, ok Mares from the very bell in round1, I want you walk to walk right up to him hit this mo fo in the balls as many times as you can. If you get any warning from the referee or Agbeko I want you to go out there and hit in the balls twice as hard as many times as you can. If Adgbeko throws a jab you have to counter with a left hand to the balls. When he's playing the 1-2, you gotta slip out on his weak side and faint the left hook upstairs but then throw the real left hook about 3" below the bottom seam and we can land to the balls from a different angle. . Seriously tho, I wrote a little notch down on paper for every low blow Mares landed. Went back in slo mo to make sure they were low. He hit Agbeko LOW 19 times and never even got a serious warning... That's gotta be a record of some sort.
Ah the low blow fight, if I was Mares I would not have accepted the belt.
