    In this video I'll take you through the 8 days worth of food I'm taking on 'The Overland Track' in Tasmania.
    I've also created a Google Sheets spreadsheet (see below) with a complete macro breakdown.
    Next video will be me heading down to Tassie, catching up with Rob, Zak and Gary and getting on the track.

    ABOUT THE OVERLAND TRACK:
    The Overland Track in Tasmania is one of Australia's most iconic multi-day hiking tracks.
    Running from Cradle Mountain in the north to Lake St Clair in the south, the 80km track snakes its way through pristine Tasmanian high country wilderness.
    Around 8000 people each year tackle the track and many like me keep going back again and again.
    The track can be completed in around 5 nights but we'll be taking 8 nights to allow extra time for some of the side trips along the way . . . Barn Bluff, Mt Ossa etc.
    In this video series I'll take you with me through the pre-trip planning & preparation, the track and side trips and a wrap up at the end once I get home.

    Steve..." All very Nerdy & completely unnecessary"..LOL..On the Contrary..Your approach is Logical, Methodical, and definitely Very Necessary. Your approach IS the way to go. Remember the 6 P's.. 'Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance'. Top job mate, you are a legend and an inspiration. Your Logical approach will keep you alive and healthy.     Tried pemmican? Mix ground beef with tallow, add some walnuts and cranberries (both ground) with some honey (little) to make tastier…..can live on it but a little bland.(been on a carnivore diet for 4.5 months now)
    Doing the track for my 5th time in November hopefully.

    Radix meals have low carb dehydrated meal options I think
