Ah, this is one of my favorite videos on his channel, idk why it's just so soothing and calm, I love listening to it right before I go to bed... In my head that sounded a lot less creepy...
@@thefishpeople6781 Nice to see I'm not the only one who thinks so! Also nice to see I'm not the only one coming to this video still years after it's release, I swear I rewatch this every year or so
The moment when one looks back and realizes that as a kid they created pokemon cards thinking of infinity as a number that could be reached but is bigger than anything else rather than an idea of some infinitely large concept of everything...
That comment I left 9 months ago is still the newest comment on this dusty boy lol... Wow. Oh yeah, I'm back by the way... This video man, so soothing...
Man i love joshs videos, and I love how dedicated a fan he is of pokemon and nintendo, and i respect him, but man he's such a big dork. XD But he's still great!
This video is so nostalgic for me. 😌You were my 1st Pokemon UA-camr and one of my earliest UA-camrs to watch. I think about this video all the time and finally decided to search it out again. It took me a bit to find it but I’m loving rewatching it. Still love your channel!
Reminds me of that image with a guy and his girl. Girl: (...) "What else is big?" Guy: "I thought you would never ask..." "... I've got a huge pokemon collection!!" *throws it over her*
my aunt sold my old pokemon monopoly game. now this is what makes me mad. she sold it for 1$. SHE SOLD IT FOR 1 FRICKEN DOLLAR!!!! it had all the money, all the characters, not a missing thing out of that box. and when she told me( I was running around, I was, like, crying!) ''you like pokemon?'' I almost fell of my chair.I was wearing a Pikachu jacket, a jigglypuff necklace, and shes telling me I hate pokemon, lol!
Gosh bruh. I feel so sad right now and every other video you do because my mom doesn't allow me to play pokèmon. She always says "I don't want you to believe in evolution" and I'm all like "Seriously? From a trading card game?"
Alright I don't know if this is a troll, but if you aren't i'm going to help you out. If your mother thinks that evolution is a lie, she is either very religious, a huge whack job, or both. What you need to do is explore religious vids on youtube and start to question your mothers and your own beliefs. However you shouldn't do this under your parents supervision. Having your parent find out that you're questioning their beliefs, they will flip. So good luck exploring the internet and lay low for a while.
Luke Hammond say to your mom its not really evolving becouse its not over milloins of years so its like growing up like pikachu to riachu to boy to a man
Those marble made me very nostalgic XD I remember when we lived in one house, there was a large coffee stain on the floor. Said stain was a perfect circle and my parents got me, and my brothers, marbles. We each got diffrent sets, one of them got pokemon marbles, and we all shared them to play using said coffestain for a marble ring.
I hope you're able to find more of your Poke'mon collection. A person's childhood is the most precious memories that they will ever have and I regret not preserving some of my own toys and other merchandise more than I should have :( I'm sure some of my old Poke'mon stuff is still tucked away in out storage unit though.
Love the collection:) I have some of the Burger King toys, those stamps that have Charmander,Raichu, and Bulbasaur on it, a Bulbasaur lunchable, and those marbles with the bags. I've always wondered where that Bulbasaur thing I have came from. It's because I got it as a present from a friends brother I think. I've had this Bulbasaur thing for about 16 years in the condition I got it that day:)
Awesome I remember these especially the lunchable card thingies I had a bunch of them.I have the spinning g pikachu top but my cousin broke it. I should show my Pokemon collection on here
I wish I had more of the marbles :) I got like 3 or 4 from an old friend in second grade and they were so fun :D It was just nice to see something like that from pokemon.
I remember when my cousin and I (we are kids of the 4th generation) always took a piece of paper to make notes and chose out of Turtwig, Chimchar and Piplup, and then we took the Pokeball toys and played that we are Pokemon trainers and catching Pokemon, battling Gym Leaders and stuff. Best time of my life...
I have a lot of the Pokemon marbles and the carrier it looks like a big Pokeball. I know this is a old video but I just been going through my old Pokemon stuff I had when I was little I even have some of the lunchable cards I only have 12 this video made me remember that I had them thanks for that it's a lot of fun to go through my childhood
I had so many of those marbles and so many of the battle double/triple sets. ... I lost them all when the roof of our house collapsed in as a kid. Man, that still really upsets me. I had such a HUGE collection, too. : (
JWitts... I used to have every single kind of toy and piece of Pokemon merchandise aside from the stamps and racers that u had... I died laughing like man I used to have all that too but mine was a different color, or I had those lil Pokemon toys as well like the jigglypuff and wigglytuff, and even the first pokeball capsules... I had those as well but I would have never imagined them to become illegal... I bet I still have all that stuff stored in my attic... God this brought back memories!
I think the word you were thinking of for that hoppip gameboy thing was "symbolic". I also want to mention that the pog things were used to "battle" other people. I remember there were rules found on the back of those toby toys on how to play. Still this was an awesome video and it really took me back and now i want to dig out my pokemon collection.
So much nostalgia ! Sadly, my Pokemon collection has dwindled significantly over the years. I used to have a whole Pokemon Toolbox that I filled to the brim with those Pokemon Figurines from Tomy, as well as a few official Nintendo ones. I remember my first one being a Jigglypuff. I also had 1-2 of those tops (from the cereal boxes), as well as those little Pokedexes that shot the Pokeballs out. I also had acquired a handful of japanese Pokemon cards from the jungle set when I was a kid.
I'm definately going to make a video of my Pokemon collection now. It's so fun looking at how Pokemon was in the past and how it has evolved to what it is today. :)
I had a few of those marbles back years ago. I think I remember having Gangar, Metapod, and like, squirtal or something. xD Those marbles were really important to me for some reason, but they're lost now. I had those popcorn tins you see a lot around the holidays, and I had one and filled it halfway full with my pokemon toys. xD Unfortunately a lot of my collection was lost due to unfortunate circumstances, but I'll recollect it all someday. I had a lot of plushies, some of the original cards, stuff like that. The fact I lost it all didn't discourage my need to continue collecting though, which is why I still have a lot of pokemon cards (a lot of my old ones were actually able to be gotten out before some things happened), some pokemon toys I had with me as well, and stuff like the Unova pokedex and a pokeball that has a game you can play that my cousin bought me. xD Pokemon will always be one of the main series I collect for.
I have quite a few of those Tomy figurines. I also have that squirty Poliwag and the Mewtwo. Mines eyes don't light up either though :/ Other than that, I have multiple plushes, keychains,a blanket, Pikachu hoodie, other clothes, backpacks, the Burger King gold-plated cards (all six!), a huuuuge book of cards, and tons of other stuff.
Oh my god, this brings back so many memories. I used to be super obsessed with Pokémon. :( I had all those toys and graphic cards and more. I should really try to find them. :/ I would love to send them to you because I know you would probably appreciate them more than I would, if I do find them, that is. :)
My dad's friend at work would eat 2 Lunchables for lunch, and my dad would bring home the toys that came inside, and my and my brother would collect them. We had about 7 for each of us, it was very fun when I was little. = )
OMG I remember those Pokemon lunchable things!!! My mom never bought them for me so I'd nick the empty boxes off the top of the trash to get the cards. XD
Duuuuuude, so many feels! I still have all my poekmon from when I was a kid. xD I collected most of all the original pokemon mini figures, and I even cut out the card board poekmon cards too!
Oh ma gawsh I own that thing you knocked that pokemon over with I think I still have it somewhere! :D I dunno why I'm watching this but HELLYEA!!! Best childhoods ever!
Anyway I enjoyed this video alot :) I think it's great that you have a collection I have a collection too although it's small and I gave a few things away but it's still a collection lol
I think that Burger King Gameboy Color thingy is really cool. I got one of those but it was pretty different. There was no cartrages, all there was was a Togepi on the screen and when you pushed the a button it played the cry of Togepi from the games. The little mold thingy in the back of mine was a purple Butterfree.
that's awesome I have a ok pokemon collection but one of the coolest things I have is a lot of those pokemon marbles and I was messing around with they today like 2 hours before I watched this vid
i had all of that stuff. I wish I knew what happened to it all. The Burger King Golden card things inside of the nicer pokeballs were soo cool. They were not in this video but, I'm sure you remember.
I might've had Pokémon marbles. This video reminded me of a bouncy ball I had with a Pokémon inside of it. I chipped away at the rubber for ages to get to the Pokémon and by the time I did it had turned silver for some reason.
OMG. THOSE FIGURINES. this video was a near obsession of mine when I was a kid. I come back to it every once in a while just to relive that
i have to ask...
do you, by any chance, like pokémon?
i have to ask...
do you, by any chance, like my little pony?
MLP 4 EVER!!!!
Twilight Spirkli I think that's a yes!
Isn't it obvious...?
XD
Would be cool to see an updated version of this
Hearing him rev up those tops and let them go brought back super nostalgia for me.
Were gonna need an update, Josh
The moment when one looks back and realizes that as a kid they created pokemon cards thinking of infinity as a number that could be reached but is bigger than anything else rather than an idea of some infinitely large concept of everything...
I laughed at the custom card ones. XD
1:53 "I CAME IN LIKE A WREAKING BALL!!!!"
the pokemon craze is something nobody can experience anymore today. Seriously wish I was born a few years earlier
Josh predicted miley cirus' wrecking ball 3 years before it was even planned!

Oh yeah, I'm back by the way... This video man, so soothing...

I pictured a 10 year olds body with adult Jwittz's head just laughing maniacally as he drew infinity symbols everywhere.
Reminds me of that image with a guy and his girl.
Girl: (...) "What else is big?"
Guy: "I thought you would never ask..."
"... I've got a huge pokemon collection!!" *throws it over her*
... I r ememeber when I was 6 and thought pokemon was stupid... then a day after that I got pokemon Platinum xD
wow you are young
Same with me!
Me 2!

Josh your a awesome youtuber
This video made me go into my room to search for all my old Pokemon toys, and I found most of them! Such amazing memories. Thank you so much!
Normally I dont watch such long videos, but I sat with you for the entire thing
You aren't a real gamer without the Burger King hoppip...
my aunt sold my old pokemon monopoly game. now this is what makes me mad. she sold it for 1$. Luke Hammond but... Pokémon isn't about ANY religion type... how could you start believing in that?

You've got original Beyblades in the background! Awesome!
I got first introduced to Pokemon when I was in 3rd grade. In 12th now and still a dedicated fan.
That Hoppip toy is just awesome!
Omigosh you have to keep all your cool stuff forevaaar!!! I hope future generations can appreciate old school pokemon despite all the new stuff..
My dad's friend at work would eat 2 Lunchables for lunch, and my dad would bring home the toys that came inside, and my and my brother would collect them. We had about 7 for each of us, it was very fun when I was little. = )
Woow! Everything looks so cool! Ahh, The nostalgia... c,:
I'd have to say the BK ball is the most lethal in your collection. I mean I doubt two babies died from the Puff tape dispenser... jesus.
Guess you could say the bookmarks were SUPER EFFECTIVE
OMG I remember those Pokemon lunchable things!!! My mom never bought them for me so I'd nick the empty boxes off the top of the trash to get the cards. XD
Duuuuuude, so many feels! I still have all my poekmon from when I was a kid. xD I collected most of all the original pokemon mini figures, and I even cut out the card board poekmon cards too!

I had those figures too. I wish they still made quality ones like that or like those pokeballs with the stuffies in them. I can't find them anywhere.
Wow ... This may be my first UA-cam comment ever ... However, you brought me way back with the pokemon lunchables ... Thank You
i had all of that stuff. I wish I knew what happened to it all.
The Burger King Golden card things inside of the nicer pokeballs were soo cool. They were not in this video but, I'm sure you remember.
I still use that Chansey coin, and it does actually make me lucky for some reason. It's kind of scary
Oh my gosh! you have lots of poliwags! O.o, i wish had those poliwags... :))
CHILDHOOD!!! I remember getting those marbles at the dollar tree...I think I saw them on amazon going over for 30 or so bucks.
brings back old memories. I wish i could find mine. But it went missing in boxes when i moved.
And thanks I was away from pokemon for a long time but you got me back into it
I might've had Pokémon marbles. This video reminded me of a bouncy ball I had with a Pokémon inside of it. I chipped away at the rubber for ages to get to the Pokémon and by the time I did it had turned silver for some reason.
OMG. THOSE FIGURINES. Those were my treasures! ;-;
I remember when I was 10-ish, I'd always go to the toy shop at the local shopping centre and I'd always spend a lot of time adoring (with gleaming eyes) the pokemon figurines for sale... Then every year on my birthdays and on special occasions, I'd ask my parents to buy me 3(?) of those... I had sooo many! I remember I had the same Articuno! I think I also had kanto starter pokemon! Oh the memories! I kept them in a shoebox! Good times!
I saw the bayblade arena in the background I love those things also the anime is one of my favorite shows
awesome collection!! i had the marble set. still have it just have know way of using the machine!
Haha I used to make my own Pokemon cards too! Mine only had HP tho, no attacks.
Listening to what your Oddish could was sooo funny :P
Dang! I had collected so much since I was 3 when I first started playing pokemon. From the 6'3" Pikachu (my dds height) to the oldest games. But sadly a lot f my collection was either destroyed or sold since my parents believed I should have no childhood. But that did not stop me. As of now I was able to recover my life sized stuffed Eevee! ^^ And I have still been able to hold my Crystal version game ad it still works! :D Hoping to find more items I lost but I will keep a safe eye on these! ^_^
You didn't make a card video but atkeast you got great memorys back.
I have those original damage counters, the Meowth coin, and that silly mew wind up toy. My brother and I never knew what the damage counters actually were at the time xD
I still have a Blastiose, Charizard and Snorkax plush from like 1999. I took Blastiose everywhere, even to my kindergarden teddy bear picnic. xD
This is the greatest thing on UA-cam
Christopher Miller right
I still remember those tops from bk and I have a sandrew and sandslash set of the keychains around the house somewhere still!
Look how far you came!
I got so excited when I found my binder of old pokémon cards
