Wow tough croud,bought a blues junior and right away changed speaker with a Texas heat and keep the amp at a clean little crunch sound and for overdrive I use a ibanes tube screamer ts808 with the amp still on clean I'm totally happy with it.
Bit of a bummer he can never play a Gibson through them so we can hear how that sounds. As good as strats and teles are, people still like Les Pauls or SGs on occasion!
ouuu that deville is nice man. but I find fender amps only do great with fender guitars and only up to light crunch. heavier tones is better with marshall or blackstar.
I have to agree it sounds om to pick the notes but as soon as you strum a power cord they sound like dirt id hope that a good distortion pedal would make a dif but ive never been a fan of their natural distortion.
SUGAR LIFE sounds like operator error. Played one today and it was a beast. No hiding in those amps but. Maybe those little kiddy solid states are a better fit for you my dude 🤷♂️

I’m very tempted on buying either a Blues Deluxe or Hot Rod. The only downside is their Dirty channel, which is pretty bad 😕
As long as you've got a good distortion pedal, you don't need to worry about that ;)

ceadian rock dude play the bassbreaker. Im a Marshall guy but that thing won me over instantly. It’s my new go to.

just played the hot rod blues junior...COMPLETE GARBAGE awful tone...got better tones from any solid state amp in the shop
