Fantastic work Ste. The army looks great and the basing ties everything together perfectly. Must be nice to have so many unique figures no one else will have too. 👍
Cheers Jim! I'm really very happy with pretty much every part of this army, just such an enjoyable project to work through. Speaking of unique figures, a new Bolt Action project has been started that may actually be my most ambitious yet 😁
Thanks buddy! When I'm reading through a selector I always like to check out the historical background to add a bit more flavour. As I mentioned in the video, the Brigade's anti-tank weapons were moved to support the British at Arnhem so it made sense not to include any with mine 😊
Cheers mate! It was really good seeing them altogether fully painted and based. Made the effort of the past three months really worth it and it's an army I'm definitely proud of completing 😊
Thanks Leslie! Replacing the metal crews was one of the major things that I knew I wanted to complete. The scales were just off and with conversions across the other sections, it seemed right to extend that to the crews too. It took a bit of time but was definitely worth the effort 😊
Cheers buddy! One part of the kitbashing element of the hobby I enjoy is outlining what different parts or bits and pieces I've used for individual figures. Showing how they fit together and look when painted up is always rewarding 😊
Cheers John, much appreciated! The basing is really pretty simple to do but adds an extra dimension to the figures overall. Very happy with how these turned out 😊
Cheers Cal, much appreciated mate! Yeah I think this project has everything I like - a good background, kitbashing and basing. It will be expanded so it can be used as British Airborne too but that's probably one for a couple of months or so 😀
Cheers buddy, glad you liked them! It was just a really interesting and enjoyable project to work. Thinking about my next one and have learned a lot from working on these Airborne 😀
Thanks Steve! I think it's little bits like the conversions, weapon swaps etc that can really go a long way in making an army such as this really unique and individual 😊
Thanks Chris! It took a bit of time but overall I'm pleased that I took that extra time on specific parts of the army. Just need to find a new Bolt Action project now 😀
Cheers Garry, much appreciated mate! This was a very interesting project to work on with a really inspiring background to research. I think it gives the overall army a more unique and detailed feel to it 😀
Thanks Matthew! Yes I'm looking forward to the new British kit coming out. My plan is to use them to replace the old infantry that are currently in my late war British army. Should be interesting to kitbash them with other plastic kits 😀
Ste you really are a inspirration for me, really, watching you completing army after army gave me the motivation to finish one! ( I have more than one)
That's awesome, thank you so much! This is what I really like about the community is that watching videos and seeing people's projects progress is always inspiring to me. It certainly makes me want to keep painting 😀
Cheers mate, much appreciated! These were an absolute blast to model and paint and with a nice dose of kitbashing thrown in, it was an extremely enjoyable project to work on. The next step is to paint up some British Paratroopers with berets so that I can army as Polish or British Airborne ☺
Cheers Paul! I'm not the greatest at painting camouflage so when it came to this project I was a little hesitant! But I did quite a bit of research on how other people were painting the camouflage scheme before finally settling on this. Once I had worked out how I was going to paint them, it was a thoroughly enjoyable project to complete 🙂
That's awesome, thanks Simon, glad you liked it! This was the most camouflage I've ever painted for a project so it was was a little daunting but I was super happy with how it all turned out 😀
Cheers Wayne, much appreciated mate! I think this definitely ranks as my favourite Bolt Action army I've painted so far. Can't wait to get it on the table 😀
Very nice units Ste, you put a good effort in the camo and bases and it really paid off, i hope you have glass cabinet so you can enjoy looking at them. I like the medium machine gun, flamethrower and the second lt the most.
Cheers Lucian! Yeah, for a relatively small project I did sink quite a bit of time into it. But having seen the completed army I'm really glad that I spent the time doing it. I was really happy with how the kitbashed crews turned out 😀
Cheers buddy! These were a nice little army to work on. The next plan is to add a handful of chaps in British berets so that I can run them as British Airborne too 😃
Hey Joseph, that's awesome thank you! I've just started a new Bolt Action project with lots and lots of kitbashing and some snow so there will definitely be a few videos about that coming soon. Thanks again! 😀
That's awesome, thank you! This was a project that I really enjoyed working on. In a few months I'll be using it to add bits and pieces to so that I can use it as British Airborne too 😀
This is definitely something I have been considering adding to the project! I know that a few companies make MDF gliders so certainly something I'll think about 😃👍
I still have the army yes and I'm planning to add to it later this year. Its quite a small force at the moment but I want to add some armour and anti-tank and possibly some partisan elements too 😃
Fantastic work Ste. The army looks great and the basing ties everything together perfectly. Must be nice to have so many unique figures no one else will have too. 👍

I like backround story of your platoon. All about "anti-tank" details.
Thanks buddy! When I'm reading through a selector I always like to check out the historical background to add a bit more flavour. As I mentioned in the video, the Brigade's anti-tank weapons were moved to support the British at Arnhem so it made sense not to include any with mine 😊
Superb seeing them altogether. The basing ties everything together so well.
Cheers mate! It was really good seeing them altogether fully painted and based. Made the effort of the past three months really worth it and it's an army I'm definitely proud of completing 😊
The force is looking very good, well done on replacing the metal with plastic. Evcellent.
Thanks Leslie! Replacing the metal crews was one of the major things that I knew I wanted to complete. The scales were just off and with conversions across the other sections, it seemed right to extend that to the crews too. It took a bit of time but was definitely worth the effort 😊
Most beautiful and impressive close ups, lovely details and bases...inspired and gorgeous!
Thank you Phil! I really did enjoy working on this project and hopefully that shows on the finished army 😊
Interesting walkthrough of all your custom modifications that make this a one-of-a-kind force
Cheers buddy! One part of the kitbashing element of the hobby I enjoy is outlining what different parts or bits and pieces I've used for individual figures. Showing how they fit together and look when painted up is always rewarding 😊
Worth waiting for! I definitely be using your basing, Very good idea, Like your thinking about the Polish, All round a smart platoon.
Cheers John, much appreciated! The basing is really pretty simple to do but adds an extra dimension to the figures overall. Very happy with how these turned out 😊

Thank you, much appreciated! I really enjoyed working on this although the camouflage was a bit of a challenge at times 😃👍
As a Dutch i love this
Hey Jan. Having read upon the history of the brigades, I can certainly see why you appreciate it ☺
Just found your channel! Fantastic stuff :)
Hey Joseph, that's awesome thank you! I've just started a new Bolt Action project with lots and lots of kitbashing and some snow so there will definitely be a few videos about that coming soon. Thanks again! 😀
@@OnPointHQ fantastic! Can’t wait
Nice work on these, new subscriber
That's awesome, thank you! This was a project that I really enjoyed working on. In a few months I'll be using it to add bits and pieces to so that I can use it as British Airborne too 😀
You should add gliders and you could advance drop them
This is definitely something I have been considering adding to the project! I know that a few companies make MDF gliders so certainly something I'll think about 😃👍
love the bases with rocks did you build all of that?
Thank you! Yes, all the rocks on the bases were made using cork board. My favourite basing material 😁
Do you still have this army and if so have you ever considered selling it?
I still have the army yes and I'm planning to add to it later this year. Its quite a small force at the moment but I want to add some armour and anti-tank and possibly some partisan elements too 😃
@@OnPointHQ my offer to buy this is still on the table 😂
