Good job, and thanks for your opinion on the handling and performance, but I'd still like to know the specific overall weight differences. What is the overall weight difference between the pro and standard orbit? And what are the weights of the competition? Specifically the Aluula infused kites.

Core XR pro vs Evo D Lab
The local lads moved away from duotone - shit quality. Split bladders, broken lines, broken bars ... the kites were constantly being repaired. They moved to Core XR and are now waiting for the Alula XRs to get in stock.

cabrinha and duotone gear have gotten progressively worse which is quite serious
cabrinha: quick releasing issue
duotone: broken bars, lines, exploded bladders, etc.

you compare aluula kites with dacron kites? is this a fair and right comparison in terms of price and weight? I think the best comparison is to compare the north orbit/orbit pro with duotone sls rebel (both 5 struts). in your price comparison you compare it to duotone d/lab kites? which duotone d/lab kite has 5 struts?
duotone has a massive line snapping issue right now with all kites

Did you compared the Pro with previous year Orbit?
I have the feeling they gave the new standard orbit a different bridle to prevent the buckle in wingtip at take off
While the orbit pro is probably likely to buckle again but faster

24 orbits new wingtip shaping, pro has nmax and tweaked bridle for turn speed.
So the Orbit Pro has less bar pressure than the regular Orbit kite ?

Let’s be honest the podium depends massively on the riders not the kite, it’s not like F1 car racing where basically the best car wins no matter what.
And the cheaper prises are because it’s not Aluula, Aluula comes at a premium and once you tried an Aluula kite you know why, people who haven’t tried an Aluula kite will say it’s all sales talk, try one and you will realise it’s not.
Next Level Kite? Sorry, all North Orbit Pro riders out at KOTA in round 3. Next level of no chance kite against Aluula kites from Core, Naish, Cabrinha, Duotone. For sure you need to push the kite as you are sponsered from North. Easy to understand but sorry, the kite is far away from the performance of Aluula and SLS kites and I am sure North will come soon with Aluula kites. So compare apples with apples when you argue the price point. Removing One pump clips and dacron patches is huge innovation to save weight:) for North. I am sorry, the Orbit Pro is a joke. Maybe my level is not good enough but I prefer my Orbit even they replaced it already 3 times because of my LE clothing theme. Ahh and again, to the comments, Duotone has bladder issues and line snaps, Cabrinha has a shitty bar (ask Lorenzo), Core XR Pro are exploding when you pump it to 10 psi, etc. etc....
nah i'll just stick with the orbit
