Hi Orlando Informer or any other prospective outlet that may watch this and think of inviting him to their events. He is very professional. No mentions of perverts or any illegal filming of construction projects. The most professional theme park vlogger you'll ever see. You're not gonna get this content anywhere else
I really like liminal spaces! I use to work in an old call center, and the colour scheme was that pale yellow-beige just like that creepy game. It was too weird when finding some of the rooms without anybody in them. The quiet is unsettling at first, then really awesome. Also, really loved the slow-mo-bunny-mode at the end.
How dare you not sit and take a photo with geoffrey giraffe. Also, i love how you were able to film in the mall and weren't immediately asked to stop filming.
That discussion of liminal spaces has got me thinking some thoughts … In anthropology (my BA) there’s quite a bit of theory and writing about liminality, so that was my first introduction to it. Shortly after the whole “liminal spaces” trend became more and more of a thing. However, it’s always sort of baffled me why people are so obsessed with this places being eerie or weird, and your discussion made me realize probably why. I grew up moving around frequently; feeling between was often my state of being more than something eerie or unusual. Liminal spaces, between one thing and another, are ones I’ve spent a lot of time in. Airports especially. I find a sort of solace in these places as they empty of their occupants, turning into a state that both shouldn’t be and that always was. I think you’re also very right about the nostalgia factor of it all-people wax poetic about dead malls, but I’ve never seen any appeal to those at all. However, museums at night or before opening, or exhibits all emptied and ready for something new, are some of my favourite liminal spaces. For me, those places absolutely do hold nostalgia. I spent so many weekends in museums as a kid, and seeing them gutted or empty always evokes a response. Anthropology theory looks at liminality as frequently a dangerous period-the classic example is passing from childhood to adulthood, which requires certain rites of passage to properly initiate the person into their new societal role. It’s so fascinating to me that we can impose this sensation onto something so physically neutral as a built environment, bringing forward our thoughts and dreams and hopes and fears by simple presence in a space. But who knows, maybe I’m just overthinking it. Good discussion of liminal spaces.
There is a whole idea around ‘thin places’ in old British/European fairy mythology where the boundaries between the human and supernatural/fairy worlds overlap. There’s a reason why people don’t walk through fairy rings (circles of toadstools) probably for a similar feeling reason to people falling into the Backrooms
Malls are hit and miss with crowds now a days. Either you have a HUGE crowd of hundreds or thousands of people at one or like maybe 15 at BEST. I wish malls All malls were still booming but thats not the world we live, we live in one where online shopping has Most likely taken over the market, for better and worse. But atleast there is always the memories i have of When i went to both the steamtown and viewmont malls in Pa, And the different malls ive seen since ive been in FL so far.
I watched your UA-cam video. Your every video is really awesome. But your channel and your videos expect more views and subs. I analyzed Your UA-cam channel and I found UA-cam video SEO is not done. This is why your video is not going viral and views are not increasing.

I did actually take a selfie with him. But I didn’t include it because I wanted to maintain the liminal vibe.
@pleasestopvlogging post it to blue sky?
Thank you for educating us on liminal spaces. I watch you for entertainment, but now I can also add for education. Thank you Kenny.
The music that sounds like the Tower of Terror queue really pulls it all together

0:30 Nobody owns Mrs Kenny. Hell yeah
Dear Orlando Informer, this letter should serve you as all the proof that you should need to understand that Kenneth Johnson is important.
That spinning “chandelier” or “mobile” is my mental health rn
10:54 😂
I love liminal spaces. I just found out about ancient lights in England, which has weird signage AND historic laws.

hey where do you get the music for your videos, there's some tracks in this one I'm really digging
I get most of my music from a site called uppbeat. It’s all royalty free music for creators.
Have a safe flight, Kenny!
