    Counter balance/rear weight is critically important. Running the weight low to the ground is also helpful. Love mine on a JD 4520 and it can carry a load.

    Awesome. I appreciate your thoughts and observations on the RK 37 and the grapple. Impressive machine. If only it had a mid mount PTO option I think it might be the perfect Compact. I believe the closest RK that sell them is 5 hours away from my location in the thumb of Michigan. Bummer. If they offer them up here, they will sell them as fast as they can make them.

    I'm trying to decide between the RK37 and the Mahindra 2538... it's a tough decision because the Mahindra is coming in a little cheaper with lower interest rate also. But RK is 5 minutes from the house. I hope that RK lowers there rates. I'm staying patient to see if they do.

    How would your Kubota do with that grapple with the same log capacity? I am about to pull the trigger on a L3901 and the stuff I hear about capacity and the weight of the grapple leads me to wonder if I would be okay with the L3901. I like that RK but there isn't a deal that is close enough for when I deal with servicing.

    • @OutdoorsWithTheMorgans
      @OutdoorsWithTheMorgans  6 років тому

      The 3901 is a good tractor, I have a lot of seat time on one but can say from experience it wouldn't lift near the weight that this 37 does,

    • @DeNifty1
      @DeNifty1 6 років тому

      The biggest reason I lean to the Kabota is dealer location and your test was probably the max thing I would ever do with it. Do you think the L4701 would do it no issue? Sometimes the specs around these different tractors confuse me more than anything especially when they seem comparable and I trust a salesperson as far as I can throw him.

    • @OutdoorsWithTheMorgans
