Nice! I have the 3 Disc Steelbook Full Slip Type B. Very lucky as I found it brand new in an Aladdin store just last Christmas for 33,500W. Incredible they still had a copy after all that time! Nice to compare the differences between the two sets. Picture book is the same but everything else is different or a variation. Both are beautiful :)
Do you live in Korea or were just visiting? It's amazing how many gems I find still available at Aladdin sometimes, although recently the rarer titles have been dwindling. I remember seeing the ultimate box almost a year after it sold out, as well as the Foxcatcher ultimate box just recently.

Thanks for the unboxing. I was able to pre-order this from them. It is so nice. Missed out on the Steelbooks but was not a fan on either full slip. I did like the quarter slip. Will have to get that at some point. Pricey now. Also love the huge Deluxe Box you got and did an unboxing on, but they did not ship to US. That is really pricey to get now. Probably will never get for that price. But really happy to have this one. :)

Great "Plain Archive" edition (great video as well)! It's a shame that they will not sell the "Limited Edition Box Set" overseas. I will have to buy it over priced on AsianDB.
AsianDB might charge you an arm and a leg for it...I feel your pain as I've been there before. Hopefully I can get my hands on the box set and I'll make a video for it!

Just got this EXACT edition. Mostly for the doc, Old Days, I have to say. It's very nice indeed BUT I'm really disappointed with the remastering. I'm a bit of a picture quality snob and this has AGGRESSIVE grain throughout. Even in static shots. Bit surprised. Can't be the age of the film. Off the top of my head, my Teen Wolf Blu-ray, The Lost Boys Blu-ray and even the original Blade Runner on Blu-ray look way sharper and smoother. My expectations were too high I guess.
I agree with you completely about the transfer. The only letdown. But overall package wise this can't be beaten. I also have the UK Blu from Arrow which has the most recent remaster and it looks glorious... got the Arrow UHD 4K coming next year!!! :)
@@leemason3889 - I'm selling the Plain Archive set. The transfer looks like an orgy of worms! The film was made in the 2000's! Why does it look so bad? Compare the shot when the man serves Oh Dae Su the meal, that slot in the floor - compare the Plain Archive version with the Arrow Version. Nope. I'm not even sure the DVD looks that bad, lol!
