I even remember rumors of most of Gotham Knights narrative being leaked as the plot back before Arkham Knight came out.

U don’t know how to play suicide squad then, shark is like an hulk, boomerang is like flash, u can teleport all over and shoot, deadshot is just flying and dodging while shooting from far away, and Harley is swinging around shooting, just because they all have guns doesn’t mean they are the same

Suicide Squad is far worse, because it is not just a terrible game. It ruins Arkhamverse, it ruins Rocksteady and it ruins Batman, who really should not have been part of this. It might very well be the worst game of 2024. Avengers, when first played felt fairly average, but started feeling worse and worse because there were clearly many points, where simple changes could have made it much better, especially the villains and boss fights.
Avengers is disappointing in many ways but Suicide Squad is infuriating as a whole.
I'm enjoying Suicide Squad way more than I ever did with Avengers. The story wasn't that great and the missions were very dull.

Useless comparison. Avengers is done, the whole store was made available for every players for free so you have access to everythig (although I do agree they were greedy as f). Each avenger had at least a few different things about them, whereas Suicide Squad is just guns with a bit of traversal differentiation.
Quite honestly, they both suck and are a disservice to the IPs. I'd rather play Avengers than Suicide Squad though. Thinking of this as canon to the Arkhamverse games is just an insult.

Im always going to defend the combat system and Skill tree Variety for each character in Marvels Avengers. Each character at least until they got to the clones like Lady Thor and Bucky felt so unique that people were legitimately begging for characters like Scarlett Witch/Dr Strange/She Hulk/Captain Marvel/War Machine.
I played as Captain America and his shield was the most broken projectile ive ever used in any game and Iron man had more Variety in his skillset than all of Rocksteadys Suicide Squad.
Scarlet Witch and Iron Man are in X men Legends 2!

The last point is not really fair. Suicide Squad just released, and while it could save some face with the DLC, it’s looking to have an even worse legacy than Avengers. I wouldn’t be surprised if the game shuts down as well.
Avengers’ characters at least weren’t disrespectful, the story was fine and the gameplay was varied enough, all of that makes it better in my opinion.
It’ll save face by having DCAU actors voicing the Justice League and Lex Luthor and Rick Flag.
I liked Avengers. Once you get past the layers of looter shooter mechanics, The Avengers game I always wanted is there clawing its way out.
I thought Brainiac would become Flash, Green Lantern, Batman and Superman. At least that would’ve made the fight more interesting.

Avengers for sure. The combat in Avengers and the variety of characters and move sets were awesome. I had fun with the campaign. The issue was being straddled to that awful live service model. It could have been an absolute classic.

Avengers could have improved overtime, the Wakanda DLC was a step in the right direction, instead the team put efforts into a messed up Spider-Man and Thor & Black Widow gender-swaps. They didn’t realize the issue was content, not characters. On the other hand, Suicide Squad is an unapologetic mess. The story destroyed the Arkham legacy, the gameplay among characters is just 5 shades of the same shit, all the enemies are purple goons (not saying Avengers was superb, but even that had more variety). In conclusion, both are shit, but Suicide Squad is some radioactive shit.

Something that absolutely should be held against suicide over avengers is how it affects the universe. Arkham series is pretty beloved especially for its story and characters and so them killing batman like a dog, completely molding Harley to be movie/cartoon Harley and introducing multiverse goes a long way to basically ruin that continuity just to make a bad looter shooter. Meanwhile nobody really cares too much for what they do in Avengers because it's an isolated universe.
Avengers wins simply because they didn’t disrespect they’re most iconic fan loved favorite character right before his legendary voice actor passed Mark Hamill will also never play joker again because of Kevin’s death his co worker had more respect than the people who Kevin put on the market these aren’t comparable

Marvel Avengers tried to make a different gameplay, Suicide Squad copied Avengers. I mean COME ON, I dare someone to tell me Deadshot's gameplay is NOT like Iron Man's.

This should be obvious...one game lasted 2 whole years and got some decent DLC...which will not be the case with the other game.

Sorry I disagree Marvel's Avengers is a better game period the problem that I had with Marvel's Avengers is the fact that it was a live service wanted you to spend real money but other than that when it comes to the story and gameplay melee attacks and everybody feeling like their own character not the same like in Suicide Squad kill the Justice League where everybody uses a gun it pretty much wins and now that the marketplace is gone in Marvel's Avengers everything is free I can't say everything was bad about Marvel's Avengers it wasn't that black panther DLC was good but the others were just okay if Marvel's Avengers wasn't a live service it would have been successful with only the main campaign story and DLCs and you unlock skins and other stuff by going through the game yeah the game would have not done bad the marketplace and releasing the game with bugs and glitches and not giving us not that much boss villains ruined Marvel Avengers but it really is a better game I don't care how bad the marketplace was Marvel's Avengers wins I gave it a 7/10
I thought of an idea for a marvel zombies game where you pick 1 member of the avengers, x-men and fatastic 4 where you try to find a cure, some missions you save peple, mutant kids and other heroes (Some examples are moon knight, shang chi, punisher and some others), spider man stops holding back and is alot saltier because he failed to save miles and aunt may, some of the bosses would be infected villains, some other heroes(You can kill or cure them), and zombie celestials, thanos and kang, and finally there would be multiple endings

Update: For the anti sjws complaining about modern games being too woke, I thought in a cutscene for whatever future developer sees this comment in a cutscene of the infection spreading, there should some sjws doing their usual complaining about the patriarchy and they get eaten by zombies, and some anti sjws show up going "HA THAT'S FOR GOING WOKE!!" and they get eaten as well so that way they are both made fun of

There is really no excuse for either of these games to be in this state in this day and age! Good superhero games are very much a thing nowadays! The Batman Arkham Series, Injustice, and Insomniac's Spider-Man Series have repeatedly proven that! The difference is that they knew that just having a recognizable name attached to it WASN'T ENOUGH and that they NEEDED good writing and gameplay to carry it further. It's too late for Avengers, especially now that the game is shut down.
So unless one of the key staff at Rocksteady gets replaced or someone gets a Buddha-level epiphany, I don't see a comeback happening anytime soon. Hopefully, these two games can only serve as another reminder that the live service bandwagon ain't all it's cracked up to be.
I didn't play Squad. So I can't say anything bad about it. But, Marvel and DC characters have completely different personalities and attitudes!!! It's always been that way! Avengers had a better original storyline; messed up when it came to us players having to buy something for costumes or play a crucial event via PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live; the characters in the game play different from one another; they could've had more villains; and Crystal Dynamics has been treated like shit by the Embracer Group, thus killing a chance we would get a much better planned out and less buggy sequel!!!! This game suffered from being rushed out, poor management and being given the reputation of greediness.
At least Avengers didnt ruin the absolute wonderful story and universe of an excellent franchise

Each of these games were so much fun to me😊 No I don't like live service or microtransactions but I don't have to spend money. 1 thing I do agree is that braniac fight. OMG that was so bad lol but let's get used to it y'all, live service is where gaming is heading😐
I haven't played either but I think Suicide Squad is better because if you watch just the cutscenes it could pass as a good Suicide Squad movie, if you watch The Avengers cutscenes it would arguably be a worst Avengers movie than Age of Ultron.
What's really upsetting is that both games were developed by companies that gave us some amazing games. Crystal Dynamics brought us Soul Reaver and Tomb Raider. Rocksteady made each Batman Arkham game better than the last. So what went wrong with what could've been?
Suicide Squad has atleast a good combat system and fantastic cutscenes, and the story has many funny moments with Quinn and Boomerang.

Nah hell no I found suicide squad protagonist annoyiny as hell especially Quinn. Story was crap, I couldn't even laugh to how bad the story is.

I'll just say the player count is speaking volumes...Avengers had more players playing it than Suicide Squad has ever had. Meaning this game will most likely delist sooner than Avengers did. Only then will ppl admit its worse
Nah man, the gameplay in SSKTJL is way better than avengers, is way more fluid, in avengers is so slow and tedious, and the traversal doesn’t even deserve the comparison, the level design is the only down part of suicide squad, even the story is entertaining, not perfect, but ok
Marvel’s Avengers is ten times better than SSKTJ doesn’t matter what anyone says at least in avengers everyone felt like they’re comics Suicide squad just felt nothing like the comics every member feels off except king shark when the game wasn’t out I loved the idea of the death of the JL and thought we were going to get quality story not whatever this was this game was not my cup of tea if you enjoy the game continue it has some good elements but it doesn’t outweigh the bad this game broke me as a Batman fan as an Arkham fan as a dc fan and as a gamer fan.
At the end of the day, who cares about the Sulcide Squad? And why should they get the privilege of ending the Justice League when the real DC villains couldn't? Well, to be honest, none of them are the best, they are mediocre, BUT no one can deny that seeing them adapted to The Justice League and The Avengers was EPIC 💙👌
The worst part of all isnt the games if you think about it its the companys that made them both well known for great titles sitting on a high throne of memories the fact they did this just cuts deep to all fans these companies are so high up on a ladder only to fall this hard ots really sad to see

I don’t think SSKTJL was a bad game. I found it fun and there are plenty of hints showing that the JL is not from the Arkham verse or not the real JL.

In all fairness for a game that was clearly dying they did add a ton of characters and even a couple of single player campaigns.
I think this was another list Mojo list where you (writers) decided what outcome you wanted before a list was made, then wrote accordingly. Avengers had many positives that, while I still won't call it a great game, made it actually enjoyable.
Yeah, I'm playing/streaming SSKTJL, but I'm only doing it because of the name I chose being tied to DC, and I tend to be a DC defender. I'm DEEPLY regretting my purchase of SSKTJL. I never outright regretted Avengers.

Easily Avengers in my opinion.
Suicide Squad absolutely loses when it comes to characters & legacy. I'd much rather Avengers' shallow impressions than KtJL's annoying & insufferable imitations of the "modern versions" of the characters. That Harley isn't the best Harley I've come to know, it's not even the Arkham version of her, despite the fact it should be. It's an annoying impression of the ass Margot Robbie version from Suicide Squad 2016 (no offense to Margot fans, I blame the writing, not her).
As for legacy, Rocksteady falling so far from grace cuts deep. It's way worse knowing what they can do & getting this shit than it is getting 1 poor try at an Avengers game. There'll always be more attempts at Avengers games, there's only 1 Arkham-verse, and it's been torn to pieces.
Let's not forget Gotham Knights has Batman's death, brief resurrection, and heroic sacrifice as key plot points and when it comes to all 3 of those key plot points it actually treats the Dark Knight, the world's Greatest Detective with the respect and dignity he deserves unlike Suicide Squad: Kill Rocksteady Studios aka Rocksteady: Kill the Arkhamverse which pretty much shits all over Arkham Batman especially with his death.
It's not even a Margot Robbie but rather Tara mixing in her Timmy Turner with her Arleen Sorkin impression and giving Harley a pitch that's come off grating.

Suicide squad rushed the story but you can play any four character freely (solo) in other hand Avengers mostly force you use a hero in specific mission but bigger story to tell - I go for SSKJL

After Suicide Squad defeated 4 of the most powerful members of the justice league whether they were clones or real and they defeated one of the most powerful villains in the DC universe and they're about to kill 12 more, so I think Suicide Squad has a fighting chance against The Avengers

I have a good time playing both, i still play marvel avengers, to this day. Suicide squad is already getting the hate. Just wait till the next comic game comes out that also will get complaints. What game out there isnt repetitive? What game out there doesnt make money by season passes, dlcs etc? Its a business.
