DOG SLEDDING in Lapland | Winter Adventure in Kiruna, Sweden

- Have you ever dreamed of being a musher and dogsledding across a frozen winter wonderland? You can do it in the Swedish town of Kiruna, far to the north in the Arctic!
I'm on a road trip from Stockholm to the far north of Sweden, and I'm checking out all the weird and wonderful things I can find along the way. When I reached Kiruna I just had to try out a husky tour in a dog sled.
The temperature was -20 degrees C, and I was still freezing my toes off - but it was all worth it!
This wintery husky adventure took a couple of hours and took me over the frozen river Kalix, through woodlands, and I got to both ride the sled and drive the sled myself.
The company I went with was called Husky Home, and they seemed to take really good care of their dogs. It was an exciting and pleasant experience for everyone involved!

I first went dog sledding in Christmas 2013 in Jukkasjarvi and have been hooked ever since , amazing experience always very memorable.
Wow! It took me until, well, this winter to try it. But I really need to get back up there for some more dog sledding and other winter activities.... It was so much fun!
This is deffo one of my most-awaited things to do in Sweden! Can't wait to travel again and meet those dogs! Love this video! :)

Now that is cool...I've done some dogsledding too in the Yukon here in northern Canada on Lake Laberge...quite the experience as I was allowed to take the position of the musher too...I didn't do so well...lol...and it was COLD too!
That sounds pretty much like my experience! But it was so much fun either way - I loved this little trip with all the doggos 😀

That was pretty damn cool! I loved the whole thing - the doggies were so cuddly and nice and hauled my ass over that frozen river so well.
Loved the thumbnail right from the start! Dog sledding looks like a great time, although I doubt my little beagles would be as excited about it as the dogs in this video haha. Maybe if they were passengers too
Thanks! I love beagles! They act and look like grumpy old men (when they're not puppies at least). But yeah, I have a hard time seeing them being able to pull anything bigger than a sausage
