These players were looking at them. I would just give them a call and say have a chance to play for the championship championship at Auburn and I wouldn’t give more money or anything. It’s your choice. They have a week and you’re moving on.
@@Slick_Nick7567 go watch the Brent Venables presser after the game. He states that on the play where arnold throws the ball to the left and it is called a backward pass that there wasn't even a pass option on that play. It was just a run play with window dressing. Now, perhaps later there is a similar play that IS and rpo. But that one wasn't. And Arnold was pulled immediately after that play. And rewatching tape, as well as watching a breakdown by a coach who goes thru OU tape (obv a fan) he says he has 0 idea how that even happened. And the wr had no idea the ball was coming. JA was seeing ghosts.
@@firghteningtruth7173 Damn BV really mortgaged the house and kicked Gabriel out to Oregon to roll with Arnold. Hell, it was reported by insiders that Hawkins was outplaying Arnold in spring ball, and if that is true, then that is a failure on the Oklahoma staff for not starting Hawkins from the beginning. They are on desperation mode.
@@Slick_Nick7567 I mean, to be fair, Ty said litrells offenses are always sloppy, and he doesn't have a real qb coach guiding him. Seth is the qb coach and has never been one. If he transfers to a school with more...let's say, on the field resources and a real developmental qb coach, he can still be everything he was hyped to be. But yeah, I saw that DG made a vid that said BV basically told him Arnold was the guy this year, and DG would have stayed. Looks real silly about now. Bit, to be fair, baxk then they thought they had 2 more starting OL than they do... (xferred) Not sure if Arnold was that bad in practice. But, if dude isn't even running called plays correctly. You gotta bench him. No choice. Sucks. Hate to see any kid in that situation. They might be sooners, but they are still people. And that is still a 19/20 year old kid. And who of us didn't make horrible mistakes at that age? I know I did.

You see the clip? You watch the presser?
I didn't realize Arnold was quite in THAT state.
Makes more sense now.
Feel bad for the kid. He just needs to find a better system.
@firghteningtruth7173 what presser?
