I love the dragons in GoT because everyone has the same reaction to them as we would in the real world. Jaime shows this perfectly in the intro clip. They are magical, but the show and books give them a ton of grit.

One of the things missing is that in the books dragon's flames are the same color are their bodies. Which is so cool. Balerion had black flames.

I would absolutely LOVE to have a dragon, that much is understood.
But I would want my pal to be sentient, instead of it being a beast. By which, I would prefer my dragons to be capable of speaking in any tongue (ex. human)

@@Joselopez-ix2nv they say he's big enough to eat a mammoth whole and that Dragon is able to eat a horse I think either way cersie should be dwarfed in comparison and you should read the books they are fantastic.

George RR Martin, the books' author, steped away from helping the production at season 7 to concentrate on finishing the books. The drop in quality at his absence is evident.

It's a fantastic show, I didn't think I'd enjoy it but I'm hooked.
I only watched them this year because I had no interest either, binge watched them for about a week or so. I'm pleasantly surprised it's mostly very good.
I watched a little bit of the first episode while I was recording and I was a little shocked at the ending... the brother and the sister in the tower WTF???

I think the Awakening of the dragon eggs was a combination of the red Comet_blood magic_old magic_Fire magic every magic in the story

Honestly, dragons are cool, but they're not unkillable like everyone seems to think.
Their main ability isn't that of fire-breath or strength, flight or gnashing teeth, but of their ability to inspire fear in their targets. Fear without control robs the victim of any hope of fighting back properly, and lends a battle to victory before it's even begun.

What is the buget for the show, because the dragons look impressive for a TV show.
season 6 - 7 budget was like 10 million per episode. the batte of the bastards must have cost at least 20 million with the number of extras, horses, stunt people, camera crew and dirt that was moved to make the battle look real. also should mention that episode was shot over 25 days...
So basically the budget of a movie
Each episode of got season 8 costs about 15 million dollar. And there are 6 of them.
It's like one of the largest budget shows in existence, I'm pretty sure

Great video. Just one thing though. Viserion is not breathing ice. It is indeed fire. The show runners confirmed that it's blue fire,not ice.

In the end, Viserion is now rest in peace (Despite Arya killing the Night King in process). Rhaegal is killed by the balistias during the ambush. And finally Drogon is the last dragon alive, he destroyed the entire city in ash, and he mourned and avenge his mother from Jon killing Dany in the process and destroyed the iron throne and carrying his mother somewhere they will never been again. Like Blue the last Velociraptor in Jurassic World he too is the last of kind in the Game of Thrones series.

The targarians moved to dragon stone before the dread because of the dream of a child. they didn't always live there. also blood magic ties dragons and targarians, that's why the dragons can know when their rider is in danger even if they are not around. not just anyone can tame a dragon blood magic is required. Since everything was lost from before the dread we don't know what or how that blood magic works tho just that it is
This was cool, could the Children of the Forest be the next Game of Thrones creatures done?
My favorite thing about the dragons is that tue dragons fire is the same color as their scales. This is something really cool to imagine
Targaryens may have been the only ones to escape the Doom but they are not the only Valyrian house in Westeros. Houses Velaryon and Celtigar are also Valyrian, but they were never dragonlords.
Other individuals from other houses did escape by being in some of the free cities, a few even with their dragons, however none of the dragons or their riders survived the century of blood.

The GOT "Dragons" are actually the subspecies Wyvern, Dragons have 4 legs and 2 wings and are a lot stronger than wyverns, where a wyvern can be pierced by a normal spear a True Dragon can't also True dragons are generally far bigger than a wyvern.
