Mate, thank you so much for this tutorial. I initially thought you gonna create a basic hair, but the way you manipulate them all later opened up to lot of ideas.
Thank you so much! I just created my first own brush that I needed so much :-) Very helpfull and clear tutorial ,even for me as a beginner in Affinity designer.
Hey man loved the tutorial, having trouble getting a black hair with red highlight to come through the brush stroke. The stroke looks black with a tint of whitish grey. What I am doing wrong on the export?
Hey, every time I make a new brush with more hair strands, my color dilutes. I started out black with one strand of hair. Once I turned that into a brush it seemed slightly more gray. I made another brush using the 1st brush with several strands of hair and it came out very gray. Do you know how to fix this?
Hi Marisabel! Good question. Is your brush source image completely black? If so, try making a gray one, then you can adjust the hue and situation of the brush by changing the fill color (it could be stroke color, but I think it's fill).
@@marisagonzalez679 Thanks for getting back to me. I think it will work, but let me know either way because I'm still figuring a lot of things out myself. Troubleshooting helps me understand the app better.

Hey Jacob, when I get a chance I'll see if I can recreate that issue.

It's been a while since I made that tutorial, so I wouldn't even be able to guess what that might be. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
I can't change the colour of my brush... Suggestions?

@@ChromeLion This sounds brilliant! I'll give it a go. Sounds like it should work. And yes, I used a completely black colour when creating the brush.
