@@PetroHead ah! I was not a fan of ASV in terms of feel, but if you love them then that’s all that matters. I’ve been back n forth on removing my zero gravity Db for a Marc 1 screen.

ASV levers were the ones I was referring to in the video... those are the ones I might get and I just noticed on RZ that they are now in stock... was literally out of stock for like 6 months before..
You need to invest in some engine case guards ! Either gb racing or woodcraft, right angle valve stems next tire change, maybe a higher windscreen. Check out the zero gravity, not the double bubble that everyone gets, but the taller smooth profile one, name escapes me at the moment. New brake lines and definitely some block off plates for those mirrors when you hit the track again. Bike looks sweet!! Nice job!
TST industries hands down has the best fender eliminator kit for the R6 the one that is set low under the tail section… way lower profile and the machining is top notch. It also comes with a clean block off plate for where the old fender used to be. NRC looks kinda cheap and does not flow well with the tail section in my opinion. Looks pretty awkward. Pair the TST industries with the JL designs indicators and you’ll have the cleanest looking 2017-2020 R6 tail. It’s a bit more work than the NRC but waaaayyyyy worth it. 😉 Everything else though is very nice 👍🏽
is your rear fender stock or is that a mod? it has same rear fender as the R1. I think that is dope. makes your bike look mean with the fender eliminator. you can probably find those shorty levers at national city motorcycle.
Hey I just watched your video on the R6 for short riders. As someone with the same height and inseam as you, do you find that your back hurts while riding because of the size of the bike and your height? I'm looking to get a bike eventually and I don't want to worry about being overly uncomfortable since buying and selling bikes in my country is very difficult and I want to make the right choice from the get go
It helps if you’re fit. It’s a track bike and not very comfortable for commutes. Buy it for excitement and for the thrill but don’t buy it because you want to do 2+ hour highway rides.. it will hurt you in places you can’t imagine lol
@@farisabuhamdah9000 unfortunately that wasn't really an option. My country is one of mostly (illegal) dirtbikes and 125cc commuters. Sport bikes stay on the market for months at a time because of the disinterest. I would have been trying for very long to sell a R3 if I did by one. I did however buy an MT-07 and had it power restricted until I feel comfortable with the full power.
Mann...short levers ordered em for 24 bucks black with the r6 on the lever...I was wondering why them 100 aluminum can levers where still on..nice video.
@@PetroHead I just installed the ASV levers. Pretty good lever in my opinion, first time using them, I have tried others with click adjusters. I like how you have more adjustability over the Pazzo and CRG. They use a dial For more fine tuning. Go with the ASV.
ASV are the ones I’ve been waiting for to come back in stock.. I gave up like I said in my video but I think I will put in an order. Question.. does breaking feel any different? I don’t use clutch since it’s QS.
@@PetroHead Did not notice any difference what so ever. I got my levers straight from ASV had them here in less than a week. I went with the f3 over the c5. After reading about the difference between the two,, I decided to save the difference. Happy so far with them. I love how much adjustment these have. If I had to nit pick one thing, I wish the orange adjuster was closer to the orange on the forks. They are dark and at first glance may look red. I also have the orange and black r6.
You need actual performance mods, these are all just very basic stuff, I'm about to buy another R6 I had nitrous on my last bike (Yamaha R1) but the R6 is more fun IMHO it has a way better engine (bigger doesn't mean better) I was looking to go centrifugal supercharger on next bike which will be an R6, and came across this video, nitrous is easy on a bike but I was hoping they had supercharger kits these days :/
What other mods or changes should I make? Leave a comment below!
Maybe start adding more carbon fiber?
Rear seat cowl instead of the foam seat
I have the exact same bike, would highly recommend the CRG RC2’s. I have the shortys. The feel and durability of those levers are TOPS!

I was about to suggest the carbon wheels, now I don’t have to lol.
Wheel bearings... Definitely on my list... 4K wheels... hard pass. lol
@@PetroHead Yeah carbon wheels are sick but at nearing half the price of a new 600 thats just insane lol
Tank cover that makes the tank more squarish.
Helps on the track when you’re leaning and it’s closer to the motogp look.
For a track only bike, it would make more sense.
520 conversion chain and sprocket, quick throttle kit, steel braided brake lines + trackday pads, steering damper.
What will a quick throttle kit do? I've considered chain and sprocket... Will prob do it at some point.

It's the Zero Gravity Corsa I believe you are talking about, it's the best windscreen IMO

@petrohead do you still have your Translogic quickshifter and auto blipper installed and would you recommend it?
Yes of course.. best out there.
Just wanted to ask if you’ve seen the Rizoma stealth winglet mirrors for the R1 and if you think they would fit the R6/R7?
