Bud that thing is looking awesome! Honestly watching you fabricate these things into working machines is too notch. Looks like ill be joing patreon! 🤘🏻
Wow This is Carl. that's crazy thank you so much. Your channel is awesome. Thank you for saying that it means alot. This area is devastated. It will never look the same. We got a lot clean up done this week and was able to save all the floors because they got our power back so quick. Damn my wife is sneaky.😮 She told me what your sending thank you sincerely from one welding brother to another. I was a welder for 30 years and had to give it up do to my back but that's why I like your channel so much because this I can do. Thank you this is awesome.😊
No problem at all. She is sneaky but I could tell she was just trying to help and get a smile on you during this time. I'm very glad to hear that the clean up is going good and quick. As little as it is, I wanted to help in some way to bring a smile. I hope you all continue to be safe and once it all blows over, to get back to RCs with the family.
@WafflesRC-pb4nt Yeah it's going good so far. It's amazing the way people pull together to get things done. I'll send you some pictures once it's clean up and it did put a smile on my face and the big grin she had..lol She done good thanks again. Love how the big rig is going. I used to build dry box trailers and inspect them so I thi k it's gonna be a cool build.

The 3/4 inch tube for the stacks is perfect for the truck. The mesh from one of those little desk trash cans or pen holders could make a decent looking grill with a few vertical slats.
I love your work. Keep it up. Actually, I’m jealous because I want to do what you do but I don’t have the tools or the money for the tools. So I will just continue to watch you make cool RC’s.
I’ve had plenty of lipos under water should be fine. Thing I say is wash the mud off so the minerals and rock granules are not making connections at the balance port and esc end
Lookin good. This is going to be a proper beast when it's rollin' along. Are You going to put a sound unit in it so it Growls like a big rig? Re the weight, I have a modified 12th scale DAF racing truck ABS shell bodged onto a modified 14th scale alloy buggy chassis, it runs well & tops out around 51 MPH but, struggled to haul the trailer I built with any load on it. geared it down a way and had to add a bunch of weight to get decent traction. When I make another truck I plan to make a steel chassis so the traction weight is 'built in'. Love Your style of design & build by eye, You have inspired me to nit be so finicky about fine tolerances and just go for it until it looks cool. Always end up working on my RC projects after Your videos. Keep up the good work & Keep On Truckin' Cheers.
I just found your channel. You have some sick builds. You earned my sub. Keep up the excellent job. What part of TN are Carl and Trish from? I'm here in Knoxville and would be happy to help with some RC parts.
We are in north east Tennessee live in Johnson county. I'm actually from down there. I moved here from Wartburg to be with him. We where down there Friday for doctor appointment. Small world.
@@TrishArmes-s8e I'm happy to hook you up with some stuff to bring a little fun. I know it's nothing compared to your needs and won't "fix" anything but sometimes distractions are good. My son travels back forth to ETSU so I could send some things with him
The rig is really coming along, love the stacks and rims, nice of you to shout out to those viewers I wish them the best of luck and to all who were effected by the hurricane. Thanks for sharing.
The clean work space is something I can relate to my rc hobby is taking a back seat for a while as I'm working on my old honda chop so now I need to find places to put my little toys so I can work on my first love motorcycles
Sweet seeing the progress and all i can say is wow 👌 👏 looks amazing and love that its a custom build and a 1 of a kinda so cool keep up the good work .....
I took a two hundred dollar redcat, went wild making it perform how i want. It's more axial then redcat now but it's still stock chassis. I get crap all the time for picking a cheap truck. But it's mine, built to do what I want how I want it too. And looks exactly how I want.
Amazing as always, just a thought, maybe use your fuel tank for the smoke generator fluid since you were talking about filling them? Looking forward to the next as usual!
I get it build it with what you have create it the way you want... I used styrene and corrugted plastic sheets for both my Kenworth 500 and K100 (AKA)laod yacht earth roamer there big really big but fun
Well lost 2 controlers my redcat everest 7 i just bought off fb was destroyed. 2 Tires and motor are all that is left. The rest was smashed against the wall along with my redcat ascent. Still can't find all the peaces. I guess mother nature hates redcat. Lol Lost my good lipo charger but I still have the cheap ones. The 1/24 scale stuff seems to held out. Most the batteries all but 3 seemed to do ok. The only one left is the 1/10 stadium truck. Either the motor or esc is bad got to pull them apart to see. The drones and other stuff came out ok. Thanks everyone for the help and the goodwishes. It means more then you know. Lesson learned don't store rc stuff on the floor when you move in..lol Thank you so much waffles rc.
You are not a copy cat, do how you believe it should be, no way would you lose me. I like the way your mind works and I will stay to see the magic pop's out.
@roberterzen1510 I appreciate that. I havent had time to test any of the cars or crawlers yet still have clean up to do on some of them. All I know at this point is I have a few batteries bad and lost controlers. But this will give me a chance to upgrade a a dedicated control for all of them like I planed on..lol Thank you for offering.
@roberterzen1510 I could definitely use the parts. More broke then I thought. Carl Daye 1401 drystone branch road, mountain city tn 37683. If you wanna send anything would be helpful. Thanks
This thing is coming along mega really looking forward to see what you pull with it 😅 and those wheels are nice ive been on the hunt for some wide 2.2s where was they from or do you maybe have the link for them please 👊🏼🤙🏼💨💨💨

LOVE IT HERE been stalking the channel for a new vid lmao, Keep it up man ur channel brings SO MUCH inspiration
metal working and rc, two hobbies into one for an even better build to be proud of and to enjoy. Great build, looking forward to the finished product!
Hellyeah that’s gonna be sick!! This is something that I’m interested in doing. Thanks for this!!!
Your front bumper could hold the cab up? Looks awesome!!!
Wow... cool... looks real truck 👍
Fuel tank or tanks put that fake smoke thing
3D printing is fine, but I enjoy watching you fabricate steel frames and bodies and seeing how they evolve each week.
I agree. I love making everything by hand. It's more satisfying to me.
If it ain't fun it's WORK LOL 😅😂😊

just keep doing it your way, you are awesome and don't forget, you are a award winning builder
Great craftsmanship who needs a 3D printer when your talented builder. Bravo Zulu
❤

It needs a flatbed trailer for carying your crawlers! And also a log one
3d printing is kool but there's nothing like a fabricator.

That is gonna be a very nice truck , heavy but nice , love your videos

Seeing as you’re going to add a smoker unit for the stacks, the fuel tanks should contain the smoke fluid/oil
