I enjoy watching u learn video... Its definitely not the easiest art to master add comments and public opinion and it can be no fun. I appreciate your honesty... With misses or anything. Keep up the great work
I am in southern Maine and was wondering if your bees are working the multiflora rose and blackberries this year? I have not seen the bees on either this year. What breed or breeds are your bees? I am looking for some Caucasians genetics to add to my operation.
@@hallapiariesnh This is the first year I have seen no bees working multiflora rose. I farm near 3 other beekeeper apiaries and no ones bees are working multiflora rose.
I gasped when the machine almost rolled off.....good grab. Hope to meet you at NHBA picnic in July!

Yes my bees will work multiflora rose regularly, a good pollen source. My bees are mostly Craniolan, Russian crosses.

How do you deal with that webbing? Scissors?
I gently use my hive tool to break apart the webbing.
What veil do you use? I need one of them
Alexander Veil. I know Dadant sells them.
