good tip. the thing is with black is the green screen has to be lit perfect. If you mess it up at all you can see the glare of the shiny sheet. It was a bad green screen week this week.
Anything you think I probably know...I absolutely do not because I'm very new to following basketball and that's why I appreciate your videos so much! Also, did you know in Dallas we call them "corny dogs" because our local lore is that corn dogs were invented at the State Fair of Texas by a vendor called Fletcher's Corny Dogs? And yes, as someone from Dallas, I wish we could magically make Luka stop bickering with the refs.
That's crazy to believe that the "corn" in corndog isn't referring to cornbread. True lore indeed. Glad you're getting into the game and enjoying the videos!
Great vid, not sure if you've made one about rule changes you'd personally like to see, or commonly suggested rule changes, but I think that would be great.
I think the nba needs to figure out ways to shorten the end of the game. Maybe they could shorten the shot clock at the end of the game and move the inbound spot to half court so teams don’t need to call timeouts.
@@whatslapsdamn mad respect you respond to every comment… even on a random vid from two months ago. Truly in it for the love of the game. That’s what’s up. Any predictions on mavs vs Celtics?
It looks to me like in the NBA that when there is a putback dunk, the ball has not left the rim. However, I am watching it on TV and not live at the game. whatslaps, thoughts?
I think it's kind of rare that the ball is putback before leaving the vicinity. I realized after making the video, that rule more so applies to defense and scooping the ball out of the rim after the shot.
I am definitely a basketball dummy an am in the target audience of this video. (I have played basketball and watched the NBA for years and know all the rules)
Yeah Sabrina was pretty cool for that one. I think offensive goaltending is a good rule. Seen too many Lexus commercials because of timeouts too. End of games can be torture with the fouling stuff. Poor C-Webb, too well known for that moment. Back to some more of the basics on this one, I like it, making sure keeping awareness of whatever the heck is going on out there. Thanks again bruv, enjoy ya stuff as usual. Catch you on the next one.
Yeah, I thought this one would be a good refresher in case anyone forgot stuff. there was stuff I didn't know though. Some of the rules I kind of assumed but wasn't sure. I think I might do a video on rule changes next week. Might be cool. Unless I get a better idea. Thanks for the support again bruvva.
Have you ever thought about talking about football also side note I feel like I remember seeing you on another channel I could be wrong but love the videos I can see this will be great
I've tried to get my brother to make an NFL channel, he's not interested though. I used to be obsessed with football, but have fallen off due to the basketball obsession.
NBA players are the biggest babies I've ever seen in my life what's a 6.5 millionaires complaining about a game crime literally crying when someone touches their hand
I already know every single rule of this game and have played it for years, but I still want to hear you explain them.
That was kind of my hope. Maybe the subscribers will just want to check in, but the video will have more shelf life for dummies in the future.
love this channel
love is felt.
I really look forward to Mondays now since I found this channel ❤.
glad you found the channel, my g. ❤
Most underrated NBA UA-cam channel
thanks man. I'm curious how many weekly views I need to get before people start calling the channel overrated.
Good production value on the video, my only suggestion would be to make the background dark or fully black to accentuate the lighting you like to use

Got into nba very recently this helped so much thx !!👍
Glad to hear you're getting into the league, baby!
Great vid, not sure if you've made one about rule changes you'd personally like to see, or commonly suggested rule changes, but I think that would be great.
yeah, that might be a good one. kind of a mix of this video and "How to fix the NBA"
This is the first NBA Season I'm activly watching. Only hearing about it on the side before it. So this video was actually pretty usefull, thanks!
I made it just for you

Not bad or maybe nonshooting fouls are automatically 3 free throws?
fire video again. U don't disappoint always look forward to a Monday
thanks brother. see you on the next one.
Most underreated NBA channel. I've learned so much from you
music to my ears, brother!
Make another video going into detail on your personal opinions of each rule and rules you would add/remove.
that'd be good. someone else suggested that too
Love all your videos my guy, you are probably my current favorite UA-camr
Awesome, man! glad you checked out the channel!
channel should have more love, great uploads🙏
I feel the love, brother.
What about zone defenses? Is a defensive player allowed to stay in the lane past 3 seconds if they are not guarding anyone?
nah, still can't. Zone is legal, but no standing in the paint.
Best nba UA-camr. Although I’d be down with more analysis of games. Also college bonus rules are crazy convoluted for no reason.
Thanks man! glad you dig it. might do some game analysis on my other channel soon.

Let’s go Corndog Family!
LFGCDF!
IIRC, the old version of illegal defense was doubling away from the ball.
for sure

WNBA does a 4x10 time structure
my bad. must've mispoke
WNBA & WNCAA do 10 minute quarters
my bad
What does "take a flier" on a player mean?
take a risk or gamble
@@whatslaps Are those contracts non-guaranteed? Short-term?
A flyer isn't a type of contract. It's just an expression that means risk. Usually low stakes risk.
why not 25 seconds for the shot clock? weird number to pi-*cough kobe*
Definitely made it that for Kobe. Back court violation as well. lol
NBA players are the biggest babies I've ever seen in my life what's a 6.5 millionaires complaining about a game crime literally crying when someone touches their hand
If I had 6.5 million dollars. I'd never complain. Actually I probably still would too.

explain in soccer terms
goaltending is the offsides of basketball. flagrant 1 is a yellow card. flagrant 2 is a red card.
Over and back sucks, make a good play, fuck that half court line. 😒
add another player on each squad and full court press that ish.
Ain’t no way u gonna respond to this?
sup?
Too many rules
they're thinking about adding even more.
Talk bb to me bb
🙊
shouldnt you be talking about indie music, american spirits, and lgbt rights
More like HyperPop, Zyns, and reading the Bible! (jk on the last one.)
You must be the dumie
