I really enjoy your videos! San Sebastian is my favorite city in Spain. I'm from Belgium but lived in Valladolid, Mallorca, and Tenerife. Now, my home is Palm Beach, Florida! Keep the videos coming. You guys are great and so real.
Northern Spain is my favorite place in the whole world! Watching this vlog (three times already) has me feeling like I’m walking the streets on a so-often rainy day. Rebeira Sacra, Cambados, and San Sebastián’s Hidden Pintxo Neighourhood are others I’ve enjoyed the most! I’m from San Francisco but my wife is from San Sebastián. I was dispatched to Spain, in 2000, to manage a construction project in Vigo, Galicia and I met her while she was visiting her family who had just relocated there...complete life-changer for me! We were married there in 2005 but currently live in SF. Barring the pandemic, we visit Spain one to two times a year, every year. So, as you can imagine, I have a special place in my heart for the places I mention above and your vlogs of those places! Being married to an Española is THE BEST...she is lovely like Yoly is to you!
It is good to intersperse your quarantine vids with the exploring vids to remind us that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Keep singing for the care workers!
it is so nice to watch your channel during this home stay time... I also have family in Sevilla and I miss them so much. Definitely I will visit San Sebastian to see such greenery mountain . thanks for sharing it. Love it! Prayer for you and Yoly! Stay Safe!
Love your videos James and Yoli. I'm also that guy who likes to drink the last third of the bottle. Jajaja. Unfortunately, our trip to Spain this year from April 10 to June 12 has been postponed. However, we plan to be back in Sept 2020; fingers crossed. I really liked how you both incorporated a hike and small villages. It would be great to see more of these types of videos. I took my mom to Spain in August 2020. While in Seville (yes, I know, its warm) we did your Triana tapas tour from your video. We had an awesome time! My mother in law grew up in Los Remedios and still has a Piso there that family uses when we visit. Yes, we're quite lucky. Keep up the great content!
Nice video and it really seems a nice day trip from Donostia. Basque cuisine is so good! Thank you for posting videos, it helps during this almost international lockdown! Is your book will also include some pintxos recipes?

What a wonderful video. Thanks for posting and giving me hope that one day, I will visit this lovely area and enjoy the same food/wine experience. I just want to be in Spain so much. Even during this lockdown time, I would rather be indoors in Spain.
@@vekoner1724 A lot of the fish in Spain comes from British waters! Problem in UK we are obsessed with cod for some reason. I love Hake(merluza) sea bass and sea bream.
Thanks for the lovely video. I look forward to watching your fun travel foodie videos especially now that we are all so limited in where we can go or go out to eat. James you took us on a fabulous Madrid food tour in 2014. Love travel, food, exploring and adventure. In 2010/11 my family of 4, daughters10 & 12, spent 18 months traveling the world. Keep up the great work and enthusiasm!!
Thank you, appreciate,I missed this place in my aug.trip Because of pandemic and stayed in FRANCE,my nine days in northern Spain has been postponed to next spring.
Hi Guys. Watched this during the UK lockdown. Great escapism. Love your enthusiasm. I did cough at the bill though, wow, 100 euro lunch. It did look fab though. Hope you made the flight back. Chris in UK.
Hey, we saw your recommendation of Pasai San Pedro from San Sebastián and decided to take my mum and dad there for my dad’s birthday. We had a great meal at Casa Camara. We’d have never of found this place without your recommendation. Thanks 👍
James, you and Yoly continue to deepen our love affair with Spain through your videos. Keep up the great work! Hoping you go unscathed by the pandemic.
Wow Guys that was famous footpath from San Sebastian . I love this city i visited Donosti about 12 times That place is amazing and food is so great Thank you so much stay safe
Another good one guys. Thanks. I have been to San Sebastian but didn't know about the walk. iIm twice your age so maybe not, but a taxi to the villages, perhaps 😁. Take care xx
I love your videos! One pro-tip: you should definitely try going for lunch at Muguruza, also known in the area as "Falcon Crest". It's not uncommon to spot some Michelin-starred Basque chefs there, and with good reason. They have no menu, instead they'll just give you an amazing tomato, tuna and anchovy salad as a starter and then bring out three or four portions of different fried fish they buy at the fish market every morning. Every single course is simply amazing, the owners are super welcoming, and we found the price to be more than fair - €40 for two people including a glass of txakoli per person! Definitely worth a try, if they survive the corona quarantine
I'm so wrapped I've found your channel James! We're moving from Melbourne at the end of the year (flights permitting) and loving your vidoes.. fresh milk also a religion here so i'll struggle with that but keep it up!

LOVED that. That fish looked sooooooo delicious. Gonna go to the fishstore this week and get some delicious fresh fish, if the store us open that is. I hope you are doing ok, I'm doing better and better physically, but mentally my family got a huge blow yesterday, we lost one of our beloved cousins to corona😢. Very sad about that. But your video's are giving me relaxing moments. I'm sure many more people agree with me on that. Always looking forward to yoir videos. And I'm seriously considering visiting Madrid next year and let you guide me around the beautiful places a good tapas bars. 👍❤️. Stay safe

The hiking and food were amazing! I run 5 miles everyday so hiking should not be a problem. My wife is slim so even if I have to carry her in the last mile we would be ok. Lo duro habrá sido la vuelta, en subida
¡Que vídeo maravilloso! Haberos visto disfrutando del País Vasco, su comida, su ambiente me lleva a una época anterior en la que podíamos viajar libremente. One thing -- did you edit out the bill? I didn't see how much it cost and I'm thinking you took it out because it contained personal information. Or have I had too much txakoli at home myself and missed something??? Que termine pronto esta pandemia para que podamos seguir a explorar los rincones de España de nuevo.
What a super day. It's the kind of thing that we enjoy, even in the rain. Did you have to walk back?
here is a bus back - will include in the description
