Superb explanation! Better than the factory service manual!

These cars are a pain in the ass to fix. You have to take half the car apart to do simple fixes.

Ohhhhh brother! You seem to find the tightest spots to work in. But I know if anyone could you'd figure it out! Also those retaining clips on the airbox look like the same ones on Ford pickups. Thanks for sharing!👍

Yes I had some good help , have to start these kids off young ha . But it sure helps if they have some interest . It definitely seems like they bury a lot of these starters , I've seen way worse but it's sure nice to remove as little as possible when you can. I've noticed some of these air boxes are a real pain in the rear to snap and adjust the air filter back sometimes it's easier to remove the whole box , and sure clears up some major room. Thanks for the feedback and for watching

+s33therfan Your welcome. And I think my airbox might have been part of my problem. Wasn't sealing good.

Well that's good to discover , sometimes it's those little things that make a big difference for sure.

+s33therfan Yeah, my turbo fan looked sandblasted. But I rebuilt that and did an upgrade turbine. Just hope it doesn't whistle real loud. We'll see. later

I removed those coolant lines too, along with airbox and battery and tray, and if you really wanna make ya job easy remove the throttle body and boom, its as simple as changing a tire .

Sometimes they sieze up from corrosion. Seems like I have had to tap a few out with a rubber mallet. Wish I could be more help.
