This movie has an important message. Skipping whole parts of your life with inattention has consequences. Being aware, grateful for who and what you have, honoring, being present with loved ones and life moments is deeply important.
i agree
sorry im 11 months late though :(
@@blueberrybob5662 2024
you are absolutely right! i know, it might seem as if this reply is 3 years late - but trust me, for me it was just 5 minutes :)
Sadly, we're all on youtube right now so we clearly didn't learn anything
Thanks
This movie changed my life, i never spent time with my family, and this movie made me realize how important it is to do it, and now I spend a lot of time with my family.

@@arturiape8145 same its just my parents are both 3000 miles away and also 6 feet deep in the ground
Have you hugged her since?
It's incredible how they managed to make a comedy so emotional. By far one of the best Adam Sandler movies I've seen 🙌🏽
The only movie that ever made me cry
Same
I cried for two minutes when the movie ended
Once i finished it i turned on my wifi to see a message from mom "sleep well sweetheart" and i cried for 15 more minutes
Same it has a message that moves you after watching it...

I was balling in the theater. It was embarrassing
This movie doesnt deserve the negative reviews from critics. I always thought this was the best adam sandler movie.
Idk if it’s his best movie, but it’s a movie everyone should watch for sure.
I mean uncut gems.

Anyone who is a professional critic is operating on autopilot remote.... may God save them

I just watched this movie after 13 years of its release. But hey, what a great movie! It made me cry and realize in the same time for not taking my time for granted. It also taught me to appreciate the presence of my family and other things in my life. What a strong messages.
they hid how depressing the movie actually is
Tell me about it.
Depressing , do you mean that in a bad way ? . This Movie qas far from depressing . This Movie gets you hooked in and offers tona of laughter and feelings .
Watch the movie
Just a good lesson in the movie, definitely!
YES
I watched this with my dad and we both laughed and cried our eyes out at the same time
One of the best films ever. I laughed a lot and I cried even more. Great film.
One of the best movies out there i dont care what anyone says . A really great Movie that has everyrhing in it . Laughs , tears , message ,
This movie teaches a valuable lesson to people who wish they could move ahead later in life, skipping past all the challenges and hardships life may throw at you. You have to enjoy and always live in the moment, doing things that make you and others you care about happy. You never know when things will change, get taken away, or how much tougher life can actually get.
I love this movie so much. First time I ever watched it the ending totally took me by surprise. Just rewatched it again and cried like a baby. A great reminder to appreciate life and the people we love with humility
Just watched this on netflix, made me cry especially the dad scene. When this movie came out i thought just another comedy by adam. This movie is a reality check and i like mortys character
I’m really looking for this on Netflix and I can’t find it!!
netflix??
i watched it on prime video i think
but definitely not netflix
"are you guys playing catch"
"no actually we are playing drop"
BOI 😂👌👏
Never thought I'll cry in an Adam Sandler movie. This is so beautiful 😭
I might watch it...
@@renameagain5808 it’s good watch it
My mom took me to see this when I was 10 and went from being embarrassed to be watching it with me to bawling her eyes out by the end of it.
I watched this movie last year, for the first time in years (I have had the DVD since it first came out)... it's a great movie, but the ending in particular got me really choked up. When Michael (Adam Sandler) was lying out in the pouring rain, dying, I just bawled my eyes out as he said "Family comes first"... it just shows you how important family is, and to not take things for granted, because life is short!
this movie change my life
His farewell to his father made me cry
Same
Some time I can't express myself but mom and dad i love you
I was addicted to this movie... when my dad bought it on DVD I would always watch it on Sunday night to refresh my “sense of humour” for each week.... I never saw it as a depressing movie though, maybe because it was all a dream...?
Yeah I agree. Every depressing thing that happened was just a dream that only teached him a valuable lesson at the end
Actually it was never a dream, it kinda all happened but the angel took everything back just to give him a lesson. U can see in the end that "the angel of death" sends a letter with the remote and writes "hope u do the right thing with the remote this time"
Such a great movie. Makes you realize how fast life goes by and to learn to appreciate the people that love you in this short life. Greatest Adam Sandler movie IMO👌👌👌👌👍👍👍❤ Makes me cry everytime i see it
This made me cry a river at the end
I have never seen a comedy movie with so much deep meaning to it... Wonderful movie, kudos to Adam Sandler
This made me cry sooooo much
s movie changed my life, i never spent time with my family, and this movie made me realize how important it is to do it, and now I spend a lot of time with my family.
Guys, this movie is good and depressing, trust me, I haven't cried in a long time, but today, I cried my heart out. The most emotional movie I have ever seen.
It's crazy this movie is almost two decades old. In 8 years, a quarter of a century years old. Life goes by way too fast. It's as if you blinked, your whole life passes by and now you're on your deathbed. This film serves as poignant reminder to cherish and savor each and every moment with your loved ones. Don't waste it. You only got one life.
Just watched the movie and on the way to see my parents, such eye opening movie, i just wanna say Thankyou to all the people involved in making of the movie😢
In reality the remote control is a mobile phone
Wow this is so deep man xddddd loooooollllllll Xddddddddddd
Legit
okay boomer
yeah, except the only thing it can do is fast forward.
True
Was not prepared the feels this movie had in store for me when i first watched it.
This movie made me cry towards the end I’m a guy at 20 yrs old I never cry while watching movies so this movie is very good in my opinion I recommend it to people who never seen it before
This has me choked with tears too, but the guys out there who have only cried during this movie - you're a tough crowd haha
Oh god this movie man seriously good sentimental if u watch u ll relize how precious is your life n how u should live it hats 🎩 off✊
Amazing movie. It has laughing moments and later has a few sad moments which gives out a strong message. FAMILY COMES FIRST. All the actors were brilliant.
The greatest movie I've seen in my life and it changed my dad too
Anyone cried in the cinema while watching this movie?
This is The most touching movie I ever seen. It changed my life views!
Why did I cry watching this
GhxstAY I cried too
WARNING: This movie is actually very depressing and sad but worth watching 😁😭
Fangirl99 no depressing, it just has a strong message
i think its depressing too but it has a strong message too like that person said
Please dont miss this once in a life time movie!
You will love it for sure
A very underrated movie, such a good live lesson.
I like what Morty says about fast forwarding. He says that when you fast forward, your mind skips right to the point you want to get to but your body gets there the old fashioned. Your body goes on autopilot. Morty says that when on autopilot, the lights are on but nobody's home. It's like your doing something but your mind is elsewhere. You can get through all your activities although you won't be the life of the party. Morty says that everyone goes on autopilot now and then. It is true, like if you're doing something boring but at the same time you're thinking about something else.
This Adam Sandler movie never gets old.
To come back to this movie as an adult god has really been revealing somethings to me and this movie came up !!!
Dont click your way through life because its about the journey
This movie just made me cry
why this movie is so underrated
Truly a master piece. I watched this movie when it first came out and I just watched it again in 2020 and it seemed even more interesting and deep with a great message on what we humans place value on. Only a shallow minded person would not see the msg and criticise such a wonderful movie
Same!
The only movie that makes me cry every time I watch it.
“Classic” damn right
One of the best movies that critics completely roasted, Adam Sandler definitely isn’t the greatest actor but this movie is definitely one of his best
I just watched this and I’m not an emotional person but the last part got me it was so sad.😭😭😭😪😪
Ican relate
Moreover once i finished the movie i turned on my wifi to see a message from mom "sleep well sweetheart" and i burst crying
Same sentiments man, this film made me realized a lot of things.

Exactly
but still a great movie though
Same hahaha
So.. I've been on a nostalgia kick and watching old Goosebump episodes.. and the premise of this movie was used from an episode of the same name. But this movie has a happier ending.
yesterday i watched this movie by accident .. watch it before i got married yeh i laughed but now its seems different and was a shocked when i looked to my daughter.. wow they grow fast and i messed a lot cuz of work
why does your typing remind me of an 8 year old thats typing though
Damn, this film puts me on an emotional roller coaster fr. I learned a lotta things after watching this. y'all should watch it.
this movie will make you cry
It did
Can't help but cry with this movie especially when he sees he's mom when she's older 😥
So good to remember those days
1:19 it keeps fast forwarding on its own!!
I can't stop it
Best comedy movie I've seen this year.
When I saw this movie at the local AMC, I was crying as my father who has passed on recently, during feb was in his mid 90s. I'm only in my mid 30s, as I mentally time travel via technology and meditation, I'm holding it down. The pensive sadness and melancholy is normal, but at least I know my dad wouldn't want me to be sad, so I am still putting myself into social situations, even if I just want to full on lone wolf away from socializing.
One of the few comedies that actually made me cry
this movie had me crying
my favorite movie of all time
Honestly I never cry, especially with movies, but this one's the closest I ever came to crying in a movie. Btw Kate Beckinsale is SO hot and gorgeous here.
This is one of the most underrated movie of Adam sandler it was hilarious and emotional at the same time i laughed and cried😪 really amazing movie worth watching 👌👌👍
Such a great great movie. IMO it makes you appreciate your loved ones around you and how life passes by so fast. It makes me think... Whether your in heaven or hell you'd look back at the life you had.
I was 13/14 when this film came out. I watched it expecting a full on slapstick and was not prepared to have my heart torn out
Will always be my fave.
When he "died", I bawled my eyes out!
I was a kid when this movie was released and I loved it to the point I still remembered the plot, I was so afraid to rewatch it as an adult due to critics, didnt want to ruin my younger self’s relation with this piece. But I gave in and rewatched it, now I love this movie even more, I have to admit to myself I'm a sucker for Adam Sandler movies.
The scene when his dad showed the quarter trick n his ai said he knew and the way how he was so helpless his right in the feels
the good about this trailer that they mislead the audience to a typical adam sandler comedy but it turns out the plot twist of also becoming a drama because damn it that movie made me cry

After I watched this movie, I really appreciate the value of TIME and EVERY PEOPLE THAT I LOVE,
11:14 PM, I get up, Kiss my Mom, Dad, take time to watched my brother and one of my sister sleeping, cherish the moment while thinking how precious TIME and FAMILY is.
Thank you Adam Sandler to showing this beautiful movie to us, I really appreciate you.
@1:06 Ironically enough, I read an interesting take on this. Someone on Reddit said this movie could represent him being an alcoholic, and that the remote represents the alcohol.
I remember watching this at the theater and when it was over I was in tears!
I can’t stop crying 😭 after this film 😩
Adam Sandler’s best movie.
The best movie ever. I'm not even lying just watch the movie guys you won't reget it. It's a great masterpiece
I exedently put this on tv and watched the whole thing. I never laughed and cried so much in one movie ever...incredible emotion

Humans are never gonna be satisfied somehow, in the comment section everyone is complaining how the trailer is misleading, and when a trailer is accurate and gives every detail of the movie then everyone will be like “ I’ve already watched the whole movie through the trailer” ... come on !when are we ever going to stop complaining !
i just watched this during pandemic. i miss my husband, may parents may family and friends.
Good Movie.
Randomly came across the movie & am very glad that i decided to watch this 🥰
