Ferns are my favourite plants and I do own a few (my tegu destroyed half of them). My favourite ferns are tree ferns and I definitely want to get some at some point but I can't seem to find any available where I live

Recently I had a stray plant growing in my terrarium, I thought it was a stray weed or something that had made it's way in, but looking closer I am pretty sure it is actually as fern. I got no clue how it even made it in, but I am pretty stoked that I'll have free ferns, forever, in my terrariums!

Fun fact: all plants go though alternation of generations, but it's just mostly hidden in gymnosperms and angiosperms. Pollen is the male gametophyte in angiosperms, the female gametophyte stays within the ovary of the adult sporophyte. When pollen finds a new plant, it makes sperm cells and a pollen tube to delivery the sperm directly to the ovary. Each pollen grain produces 2 sperm cells.
