Another excellent video. My head is spinning! I will definitely be watching it again - and probably again after that - to soak in the information. Thank you.
Great explanation of the financials. I love to focus on those in my research and videos as well. I don't think anyone should buy a stock without looking at this information first!
Financial statement analysis is crucial to learning how to invest in individual stocks. If you don't want to do that, you are better off owning index funds.
Thanks so much for this step by step video!! I am trying to follow with yahoo finance open for AAPL, but do not see some of the financial information I see on your screen. Is it because I do not have a premium account? And also is there another place where I can get all of this public information without having premium account? Please let me know. Thanks in advance!!
Confused about the calculation process you used to get 1.2065 into 6.4%. What is "^ .33?" Dividing it gets 3.65, multiplying it gets .398. If anyone knows, comment please, seems like an important process.
Hello sir, thank you very much for all your hard work on the channel, it has been a guidance tool for me on my financial education journey. I was wondering if i could get your opinion on SCHD, I've been comparing multiple dividend growth ETF's lately and this one came on top in my research in many ways, i would like to use it as a core investment in my dividend portfolio, and wanted to see if you thought that would be a good idea...
Hey Joseph, I'm a little confused with how you found the growth rate of revenue. I got that you take revenue over the 3-5 year period but where did the exponential amount come from and how did you get that number?
How can I reinvestment my Dividends. Without going to a Broker. And find or purchase a great stock and Dividends work sheet. I will be happy to purchase your expertise.LM
At 4:16 minutes in this video. $260.17 (2019 Revenue) / $215.64 (2016 Revenue) = 1.2065 The increase is .2065 fraction total over 3 years. The avg annual increase is .2065 / 3 years = .0688 or 6.88% Where did 6.4% come from?
@@josephhogue I am confused as to why does the "1" disappear in the "1.2065" number?? when i use my calculator to put in "1.2065^0.33" I do not get .064 or 6.4% like you do on the video?? It is obvious that i am missing a step right? and it must have something to do with the "1" that I dont understand? I just subscribed & i am catching up on all of your content & considering the excel spreadsheet as well! Thanks for all the help !!

It's not the simple division but the exponent you need for annualized. So it's to the 0.33 power

Ur the man bro
Agree!!
I get where the numbers come from but I’m having trouble on calculating the annual rate myself. The IOS calculator doesn’t have the ^ sign
If you put your phone horizontally, you'll see x^y which is the same as ^
If anyone thumbs down this video I’ll fight them 👊.
Agree!!
