i had a go kart like that once.. it would hit 70 and the only way to slow down was to drift it.. The day the wheel came off was the last day of its life :(
They were just your standard family sedan back in the day, but Japanese rust eats cars alive, and they tend to crush old cars and get new ones really fast, so there aren't many left in worthwhile condition.
Unless im mistaken he's bscly proved himself too 'the locals' in the many cars and track-types he's driven, it also helps alot that he speaks the language (like, he even gets hired to comment on certain races/drift-tournaments) he pretty much 'became one of them' and you can tell this from quite alot of videos. Imo its actually pretty weird, noriyaro clearly is quite skilled, and makes great videos, but theres only 290k subs, theres guys not half as good that have 2mil+ subs (wont name names, no reason to single them out) and they can hardly keep their cars on the track..?!
The L series has got to be one of my favorite engines. The one in my USDM 72 240z sat for 20 years and started on the first try, and sounds simply amazing.
Dude I just wanna say thanks for uploading all these videos. You have a really enjoyable channel and a good attitude which makes your videos all the better 👍
I can not believe this guy just lend his priceless classic to a guy with a camera to go drifting with it. I've watched a few hours of Noriyaro's videos and it's obvious the man has a thing or two to say about car control on and over the limit. But to this Japanese Hakosuka owner you're just a dude with a camera right? Japanese car culture is fantastic and so are your videos!
I love the Japanese quite heavily modify their vehicles and are still able to make it run with a simple turn of the key while standing next to the car. Most modified cars have a hesitation of some sort or fluctuate a little when just turned on.
one of the best car channels. I live in Iceland and Japan seems so alien to me, but it's cool to see that car guys are just car guys, no matter where they are
Amazing video. There is nothing like the sound of a good straight 6 opened up. So cool so many friendly people letting you drive there cars, sharing there passion with others. I love how the cars are built to serve a purpose first and foremost. Glad you're having fun.
I always get the biggest hpi flashbacks when ever I watched alexi. Then you find two guys re-creating hpi 10 was fricken awesome man. Love these sort of videos ay! Cheers!
Alexi, you put out some awesome content!! You're channel is one of my favorites cause you cover all of the pure jdm/drifting culture. like that missile car death race video you did with the beer can skyline was so dope. I have a close to bone stock '92 s13 hatch that hope to sr swap in the near future. I was drifting around in the snow today and it was a blast! well anyways, keep up the good work
Hell yes! Yet another bad ass video! I love how the adapter plate is made by "that dude over there!" It's great to see small time shops pushing platforms. It reminds me a lot of some people in the B5 S4 community.
The thing I love about race car drivers, is they can get in basically any car and feel it out and drive it better than most in a couple of minutes. As seen above.
never had the honor of hearing one of those in person, but I generally find 2 valve engines to sound better than 4 valve engines... I have heard an L series datsun 240z on track at the same time as an E type Jag, and several bmw sixes and hands down the datsun sounded best to me
Hey Alexi, been watching your vids for a while but never commented - figured I'd let you know your channel is awesome! It was quite the shocker to see you pop up on Sodapoppin's & Reckful's twitch stream as well :)
love watching your videos....love the culture of drifting an it seems even more closer community among all the people at the track very enjoyable content
You're laughing like a mad person in every of your videos that put a smile in my face like everytime hahaha ! or maybe it is actually a stressed laugh ?
As for your thing about not drifting unless you mash the throttle, you’re right. All the power is in the top of the rev limiter. Not so much at the lower end
Wow all s13 suspension. Thats awsome. Real car building. Reminds me of puting 93 integra front sub frame, steering column and rear arms in my old 91 civic hatch back. I always say to friends you can build a car easy. But making it street legal is a hole diffrent story and accomplishments.
I didn't forget my phone.
noriyaro I came down here to find out
same here lol
Hahahahaha was literally about to comment that
was about to comment "alexi forgot his phone!"
I was about to say lol
some say alexi's phone is still in that car to this day
Thats all i could think of when he was leaving the car.
"ARE THE TEMPS OKAY?!"
"HAHA! I HAVE NO IDEA!"
Made my day.
" the brakes do not work at all"
floors it.
attack is the best defense...
"it's Street legal"
^ Hahaha!
Lol beat me too it
i had a go kart like that once.. it would hit 70 and the only way to slow down was to drift it.. The day the wheel came off was the last day of its life :(
When Alexi laughs like a psychopath kangaroo, then you know it's a really cool car
"i wanted longchamps" hahaha love it
What's it mean?
@@aidilmubarock5394 Longchamps are wheels made by SSR
@@coconutking2933 Thanks, was wondering what that meant
How do you even find the confidence to drift something so rare and when it's not even yours! :O
I was more confident until I found out how weak the brakes were.
Cloudburn quite a few. Biggest issue with any Japanese car from the 70’s is rust. They’re horrible rust magnets
Nah you can find many of them rotting at junkyard
Just visit wasabicars

He drives so casually. Like it’s no big thing to go sideways. Love it
This is so cool! I love that the drivers know him and let him drive their rides.
I love how Alexi laughs when he drifts.
The L series has got to be one of my favorite engines. The one in my USDM 72 240z sat for 20 years and started on the first try, and sounds simply amazing.
very nice people in japan, love their car culture, everyone so friendly
Man the skylines are so nice....

Man I would love to visit Japan and hear tires screeching all day. Everytime I watch Noriyaro's videos, I just want to visit it more and more.
one of the best car channels. I live in Iceland and Japan seems so alien to me, but it's cool to see that car guys are just car guys, no matter where they are
this is the kind of builds that i absolutely love. all hail carburetors
Providing more quality content Alexi, legend for drifting a hakosuka
Amazing video. There is nothing like the sound of a good straight 6 opened up. So cool so many friendly people letting you drive there cars, sharing there passion with others. I love how the cars are built to serve a purpose first and foremost. Glad you're having fun.

Omg, today is my birthday and Noriyaro uploaded a video! I really appreciate it :)
Good video as ever :)
finally, Alexi is back: one off the best dude on youtube, ever polite great personality. like the channel very much keep it up
"-The brakes doesn't work at all!" *Throttles up* :)

I hope the drift culture and the 90s vibe never dies in Japan so I can travel there once I'm retired to enjoy till I die
they drift so rare cars there holy fuck.
that green Z though
Followed the guy that owns this car for ages. Great to see you enjoying it Alexi!
Nice to see you're back Alexi, missed your videos for a while now!

Carbourated Straight 6, Man this and the 240z have some of my favourite looking engines, you just cant beat nicely done carbs on an engine like that.
This is awesome. A fantastic car. That old car is so cool. Looking forward to the next video. Keep up the good work.
Alexi, your vids are some of my most favorite. Thanks for the uploads!
3:33 That transition from the left corner to the right was epic!!
He has returned. You were missed oh so much senpai 🙏🏼
this thanksgiving i'm thankful for alexi giggling like a schoolgirl while drifting
Alexi- are the temps good?
Izawa-i have no idea 😂😂
Got to admire the Japanese passion for drifting. Sticking to their roots and also allowing friends to drift their own cars. Japan does it best.
L-type engines are my absolute favorite. They howl like a wolf, really unique sounding.
I've been following this guys car forever on Instagram. It's perfect. Even replaced the entire rear end last year.
“I want longchamps” got my dead 💀
The thing I love about race car drivers, is they can get in basically any car and feel it out and drive it better than most in a couple of minutes. As seen above.
Glad you’re back 👌
More videos please this is the best drift content channel on UA-cam.
Yeeeees cant beat a new Noriyaro vid! 👌
ho man its cool to see that such drifting is still alive ! much appreciated video :)
Great Video !! As always !!
To me, Nothing sounds better than an L series... and Hakosuka is the best looking skyline... just my .02
danosburn80 oh 100% agree
Dude, the S20!
never had the honor of hearing one of those in person, but I generally find 2 valve engines to sound better than 4 valve engines... I have heard an L series datsun 240z on track at the same time as an E type Jag, and several bmw sixes and hands down the datsun sounded best to me
danosburn80 100%. That’s part of the reason I bought mine, such an amazing engine.
danehb89 L24/28 > s20 IMO. But I’m biased.
That was the best drifting documentary I've ever seen!
Hey Alexi, been watching your vids for a while but never commented - figured I'd let you know your channel is awesome! It was quite the shocker to see you pop up on Sodapoppin's & Reckful's twitch stream as well :)
Bravo Alexi, another great video! Give us more of these mate...
love watching your videos....love the culture of drifting an it seems even more closer community among all the people at the track very enjoyable content
I can’t believe someone used an hakosuka for drifting, that’s awesome 😎 😊😍
You're laughing like a mad person in every of your videos that put a smile in my face like everytime hahaha ! or maybe it is actually a stressed laugh ?
Giggling like a little girl! I'm the same way when my friends let me drift their cars lol :D
Also welcome to the love of the L series. They sound perfect. No engine matches up but I might be a little biased.
As for your thing about not drifting unless you mash the throttle, you’re right. All the power is in the top of the rev limiter. Not so much at the lower end
Keep up the good videos of all the great drifting killin it.
When the Hakosuka owner took Alexi for a drive:
*GASP*
He used inertia drift!
Noriyaro thank you for the amazing video on Thanksgiving day!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING FORM THE STATES. :) :) :)

"He said if i crashed it it'd be okay, so..." - lifegoals
nikko is so cool, i love when cars drift onto the ramped part and go 3 wheeling
man that Fairlady Z is just about the prettiest thing
"Are the temps okay?"
"I have no idea" 😎
Excellent as always Alexi!
YES the laugh from the 86 video is back!! 3:13
You are my favorite content creator!
I love Shin's car! He is a very cool dude and drives with style!
Love the skylines, that guy who swaped from 5 lug to 4 is my kind of guy, id do the same to run old school rims, and that carina some much want
You don't come across too many inline 6's. Sounds amazing. Makes my soul all moist.
Love your content man, keep up the good work!
Another great video dude! Love our style so much✌🏼
I don't know why, but the sound of the S13s door shutting brought back some memories like crazy.. God I need to get another one.
How could I ever forget that gorgeous FC RX7?
Also been following the drift_channel guys in that AE86, good to see them pop up in a video
Lmao that zoom at the end. Amazing video bro and epic cars too.
Man I've been following that guy on Instagram for years! So cool to see it!
Engine Sound = [Music]
Tire Screech = [Applause]
I love these auto generated english captions.
Chasers, altezza's, aristos, and hakosuka are by far my favorite sedans
the interior is gorgeous on the Hakosuka
